The theater has lazy boy fully reclining and heated seats. It was a big theater and was not stuffed full giving plenty of room. People were nice and the place was very clean. We ordered from concessions, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The food prices were amazing as well. The seats in the theater were small, but overall, the experience was great. This is probably one of the most nicest Movie theaters in the surrounding metro Atlanta region. It has ample parking, and very affordable prices for tickets and most importantly the food as well. The luxury of the seats are top class and they do have some amazing staffs to help you out if needed. The only downside being the screen size. This was my first time here and visited the Screen 7 which was very small, almost like a huge 85" LED TV. The quality was good with r great sound. The screen size was the only negative in my opinion. Easily the best comfortable seating I have experienced at this price of $10-15. The seats have seat warmer as well and reclining seats were amazing. Very surprised to see an Indian movie being pictured here. But nevertheless a very quality experience I would say. Worth the money! Definitely would recommend for my friends and family. read more

This review is mostly about the mini golf. The other areas might be different. They call this place Area 51 but this place has no aliens or ufo's or anything. One 18-hole course is called chattahoochee gulch and is southern or atlanta-theme, and the other one has pirate stuff, WHY??!! I am very disappointed about this. Other than that it was pretty good. I remember there was one hole on the chattahoochee side that part of the grass was ripped off. It was mostly fun so it was fine. 3 star read more

Talk about doing THE MOST. Aurora used to allow you to bring in a small snack, now they think they can deep bag check your purses and blanket bags as if everyone is carrying heavy duty weapons. It's a snack and it's NOT that serious to get a crappy attitude from the "managers" who clearly have no customer service training. You get less of a bag check at Disney World. Be serious Aurora. Kelly and Annie have bad attitudes and don't know how to speak to people. I would have taken my snack back to the car however her immediate attitude was enough for me to not even second guess getting my money back. I will say there was a very kind older woman who just didn't want to get in trouble for allowing our snack to slide. Also a girl at the counter who had pink in her hair was very friendly, so kudos to both of those ladies. Will NOT be coming back nor recommending this theater to anyone else ever again. Movie Tavern is close enough to go there instead and MUCH better service, every single person is friendlier. Nobody acting like they are above you for not paying $20+ for a few snacks. While visiting family nearby, we stopped in to see Moana 2 with our daughter - her first ever movie in theaters. She absolutely loved the experience. We got drinks and popcorn, which, while expensive, completed the experience. I wish they had stadium seating and not the older, flat style of seating, as I believe they provides a better viewing experience. I can't believe it has taken me this long to come to this place. This review is only for the movie theater. First off, there are no assigned seats so if you buy your tickets ahead of time online, you are just getting a general admission ticket and paying a fee. I waited until we arrived to buy them from the guy behind the concession stand to save on the fees. We still got great seats as we weren't even there that early for our 4pm showtime. The seats recline and are nice, including the option for heat. The concessions are very affordable and aren't as much of a mark up as other theaters. The popcorn comes with free refills! The staff was super friendly and the lobby has a few arcade games. We'll be back! read more

This movie theater was interesting. Had a little issue with the manager, but he handled it professionally and we were all good in the end. We wind up ordering the wrong tickets for the wrong time and they helped us. I would definitely go here again right outside as a mini golf. I also went and enjoyed that. read more

I wouldn't recommend Aurora Cineplex. They're short-staffed, barely stocked, and the service is very slow.

The staff was hostile and rude, the movie theater was dirty. We brought in outside candy and they came in to the movie theater with a security guard and confiscated it during the movie. The candy at the concession stands was more expensive than our actual tickets. don't go here if you want a good movie experience. even the woman next to me was shocked that they would take away a child's candy. AMAZING! I was expecting it to just be another eh- kind of theatre, but the staff was SOOO NICE! Gave us the 3d experience of a movie and all, and seats are amazing!!! These two up in the front- Jaeden and Anna- absolute angels. They helped make sure everything went smoothly, was so polite and understanding to my brother, and recommended us some awesome snacks. They were so pleasant to talk to too, very hard workers. I full heartedly believe they deserve a raise. This theatre is awesome!! Honestly, I never knew this place had so much going on. I've been here before for team outings, but didn't know a whole different world was happening on the backside. It's also in a good location on Holcomb Bridge Rd where I do my pick-up and drop-off with my son's mom. This location has a movie theater and a big Putt-Putt course (36 holes). It also has whirly ball, tactical laser tag and arcade. My review is strictly for the putt-putt. My son and I had just left Main Event early disappointed and still had time to kill before he went back to his moms. I pulled up this place on Yelp and decided to check out putt-putt. They have two big courses, with some unique holes. It seemed semi sponge-bob themed but without the actual characters (Mrs Puffs Boating School was mentioned on one of the signs). Cost wasn't much, and they offer family discounts here. I did an 18 hole for adult and child for $12. Full disclosure here, we ended up playing all 36 holes . You do have to go inside to the movie theater to purchase and get your putter/ball. My son actually got a hole in one, and I ended up getting 3 hole in ones. We both loved the course and had a blast. Some challenges here and there, but great for any age. My only two complaints: the rubber putters were not easy to use and the courses had debris all over them (it had rained that morning). Other than that, it was certainly worth the trip! I'd recommend the putt-putt for families or dates! read more

I came here for last night's Yelp event and was very impressed! I had no idea that a place like this was in Roswell- definitely a hidden gem. Aurora Complex has two 18 hole miniature golf courses and a movie theater. Both courses are fairly big and the perfect difficulty level. Even as a grown adult, I had a blast. Not too easy that you get bored, but not too hard that you get frustrated. Inside there's a small theater that offers fair ticket pricing with adult price being $10 or $6.50 if you come before noon. Their concessions even include cookies (3 for $3) which are amazing (red velvet, snickerdoodle, double chocolate chip). But what impressed me the most is how kind and generous the staff is. We were given free popcorn and water bottles, including free refills of the popcorn. We also accidentally stayed on the course past closing and weren't kicked out. In fact, they even gave us extra balls to finish the course when we need another. The staff is extremely kind and sociable. This experience definitely made me want to come back. And as a plus, this movie theater even accepts movie pass! read more

Just left this theater, was are first time there for a date night, we were really excited to watch this new movie. So before the movie started, I needed to go to the restroom, I need assistance using the restroom , so my boyfriend (as always) went in to the "family restroom" to help me. As we were walking out I noticed a worker was just about to knock (thought it was weird but they didn't say anything) After movie again I needed to use restroom and this disgusting hag of a lady was yelling outside the door as I was peeing and made security keep banging over and over on the door (we were no longer than 2 mins in there) When I walked out they all just stared at us and didn't say a word as we walked past. Had a fun family trip here last night to see the opening of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. It was a packed house as you would expect. But the theater employees did an outstanding job helping people through the lines, refilling popcorn and refreshments, and helping direct you to where you need to go. They have family bathrooms that come in handy if you have little ones. It's spacious and includes changing pads, extra diapers, and wipes in case you need it. The theaters have comfortable reclining chairs with movable armrests. Before the movie, we also enjoyed playing on their miniature golf courses. They have two courses of 18-holes each. The courses are well-maintained, except for one issue we had. And the holes are pretty fair in terms of an average players ability to putt it into the hole. Some courses have unbalanced greens where it's extremely difficult to putt the ball in within 2 to 3 shots. These courses have slight angles, it seems, that aid in helping you knock the ball into the hole. The one issue we had was when there was a "short-cut" hole on a course that my sons ball got stuck in. I tried to throw my ball in to knock his out, but it ended up getting stuck in there as well. Other than that, we had a fun time. There were plenty of Christmas decorations along the course to celebrate the holiday season. And I will definitely be back again when it's warmer. read more

This review is for the mini golf areas. We arrived to find the course full but not packed. There were plenty of small families and young couples playing in both section of the course; they have a side called Chattahoochee Gulch and Doubloon Lagoon. We opted for the gulch and it was tons of fun and challenging for the kiddos. We found the clubs to be a little small even for the littles, but everything was clean, we never had to wait on anyone else and we had a good time. In my opinion the price was reasonable at $7 a round. However, we did have a buy one get one free coupon. Overall it was a good activity for a Sunday afternoon. read more

What a nice movie theater hidden in Roswell. I had no idea it was by Whirley Ball & Putt Putt. It seems like an oasis of fun filled activities. This is the first movie theater I went too that had a bakery. We got the 3 for $3 cookies & the Red Velvet was my favorite. Medium drink $4, upgrade to a large for 50¢ more. 44 oz of hydration & caffeine. We went to see Ant-Man & the Wasp. Good film & good place. I can't wait to return again with my colleagues. read more

Privately owned and operated. Lots of screens with all the latest movies on it. Staff works hard to make sure you're satisfied. It's easy to drive by this place and not think about it, but I think Aurora should be on everyone's movie watching radar. Easy access. Plenty of screens. Management is always on staff, visible and accessible. They really care about their patron's experience, here. The seats are also comfortable, even if they're not stadium seating, and even if there is no cabana boy to peel you a fresh grape during the previews. But they do have something in the lobby that I've never seen at a movie theatre before: Fresh baked goods. There's a selection of really delicious looking cookies and cakes and pastries up front that are sourced from a local bakery. These are a nice alternative to the ubiquitous box of processed candy that requires a loan to buy. I'm keeping this theater on my radar. I hope you will, too. read more

While they are a fandango partner, you still must go up to the register and have them print the stubs--there's no way for them to scan the tickets.
