This was my first time visiting Matilda's Under the Pines in Milton and I LOVED it! The outdoor venue was perfect for enjoying fresh air, live music, and a magical vibe. You could bring your own table decor and be as fancy or as informal as you wanted. Plenty of parking and seating available and I hear you can bring your own chairs and coolers. The music was top notch and it was a great experience all the way around. I hope to go back soon!!

If you'd like to sit outside in a casual, bring your own food and drink atmosphere and watch live music. This is a great place.

What once was a good place to eat, has become mediocre…read more We've lived in the area for 7+ years and have eaten at 7 Acres many times on our own, or with friends and family. Last night may very well be the last time. My wife ordered the trout with fingerling potatoes and an arugula salad, and I had the special - Blackened snapper with what was described as creamy risotto and charred broccolini. The snapper made it to the plate, but the risotto was a big gloppy mess that looked more like a pile of instant mashed potatoes. Gordon Ramsey would not have thrown it across the room only because it would have probably stuck to his hand on the release. What should have been broccolini were thin, overcooked wisps of asparagus. I pointed the risotto out to the waiter, and he ran off to tell the chef. Meanwhile I ate what was left and decided not to complain any further... But wait, there's more! When the server returns, he explains that the risotto is premade and any subsequent portions would be the same. P R E M A D E! Any restaurant premaking risotto needs to be shut down, or never allowed to say the word risotto ever again. He offered a substitute so I ordered the fingerling potatoes. Off the server goes to get them. Meanwhile, my wife politely turns to me and says, "I didn't want to say anything, but this trout is flavorless". Then less than two minutes later she bites into some fingerling potatoes and chips a filling on a stone. I wish that this was the end of the saga. Our server returns with the fingerling potatoes and says "I comped these for you". Excuse me? That's when I decide to clue him in... Mind you I only told him of the other issues with my dish because my wife didn't want to say anything about hers - she just wanted to get out of there. When the check arrives, I'm expecting the manager to come over and apologize. I'm also assuming that beside the comped, unseasoned fingerling potatoes, my entree would be discounted or comped entirely. Nope. Just my server with a smile and a "to go" box of broccolini - I'm assuming this was some sort of apology. They ended up in the trash at home. I will say that my server was a pleasant young man, and I'm assuming that this is his first job waiting tables. I started by saying that this could be the last time we eat at 7 Acres. I'm waiting to see if the manager/owner sees this review and reaches out. I can't believe they would condone this quality of food or attitude towards customers.

Great drinks, delicious food, and live music!…read more We have been here a number of times and have enjoyed every meal. We get the margarita with mezcal - it is delish! The queso and guacamole are great snacks. Our dinner goto is tacos or quisdillas, but you really can not go wrong. They also do not rush you out, so grab a drink and enjoy the live music.

We've held events here, we've catered from here, we've ordered relentlessly through Covid times to support this business, we've shown up countless times for trivia because it is such a blast, but the food is just way below subpar now. We've always loved this place, and the service has always been incredible. The drinks are great, but the food has just gone downhill to the point of we just don't even want to go anymore even though we enjoy the trivia. Our last visit, food was cold, meat was over cooked, dry, chewy and just to the point you can barely stomach it. Leftovers don't even come home anymore. 2 stars because we really truly enjoy trivia nights and the margs, but even that is stretching it since the food is pretty much inedible anymore. I miss the old management and staff so so much. We'll probably be back for trivia and apps only since the food is just not even palatable anymore here as much as I really truly hate to say that. Again, as much as I hate to say it and as much as we've recommended this place to family and friends in the past, I'd avoid this place for food. I'd literally categorize the food as awful now. It's a shame because we've truly supported this restaurant so much over the past 10 years.

I left and…read morethen my boyfriend apparently tried out a guitar as he does at other music stores, and the owner kicked him out of the store. I called back today to follow up and see if we could come try out some of the beginner-friendly guitars, the owner berated me unbelievably over the phone, called me a liar, and explicitly said multiple times that I have never stepped foot in his store, which is untrue. Rather than taking accountability for poor customer service and working with us to meet us in the middle, he repeatedly insulted us personally, called us liars, and yelled at me without letting me get a word in for about 10 minutes before hanging up. Maybe if they kept an eye on the front desk, they would've recognized me. This is the first review I've left on the store, but he also accused me of leaving a previous one star review, which was pending and invisible until now. Based on my interaction over the phone, I gathered that he personally stalked my boyfriend's name and information on Google reviews to find out that I am associated with him, connect me to my phone number, and berate me. Absolutely unprofessional and inhumane. He refused to check the cameras and called me a liar, called us immature 10-year-olds , etc., while I calmly explained to him that his behavior was very unprofessional. As professional music teachers and musicians ourselves, my partner and I highly recommend Ken Stanton, Guitar Center, or Music and Arts. This man treated us incredibly hatefully and the quality of his gear is not competitive with other options in the same mall, so you would think he would make up for it with customer service. Do not come here unless you wanna be yelled at and spoken down to, and price-gouged.

We have never had such a wonderful experience in a music store before. This man shows such passion for music. There is no way that anyone who truly interacted with this man could walk away and not be enthusiastic about learning music. I'm not sure about the other rating being so low. Perhaps someone just venting and not knowing what they are talking about.
