Omg this place is fireeee. We had such a blast at Roaring Social that we literally went back two days in a row. From karaoke to dancing all night long, the energy here is unmatched. The vibe is electric, the music keeps you moving, and every single person in our group; family and friends had the best time. It's one of those rare spots where you walk out already planning your next night here. 10/10 recommend for a fun night out!

Had a chance to try this spot for my bday and it was such a nice vibe of live music ,rustic touch down to the waiters attire. Such a nice speakeasy located in downtown Alpharetta takes you back to the prohibition era with a password and underground entrance. The food was subpar with little flavor. Drinks were ok but the highlight was the band which got the crowd moving. Great outing for sure.

Had the best time last night at Roaring social! The ambiance was prohibition speak easy. The live band had everyone up dancing the entire night. They have an extensive drink menu and the food were shareable light bites. Ask for the server Sincere he was a vibe! Awesome service. We will return.

The food at Roaring Social is overpriced for the quality, but there is a lot more to this place than their menu so I need to break this one down. LOCATION: Roaring Social is in the heart of downtown Alpharetta, by the Hamilton Hotel. It's a great location and there is a free parking deck a block away. VIBE: 5-stars for the decor and overall atmosphere here! It's a speakeasy, requiring you to go down a flight of stairs and give a secret passcode to get in. It's dimly lit with comfortable couches along the walls. It's got a great feel and some people really get into the theme, wearing sequins, flapper dresses, and beads. Other people were wearing more casual dresses, shirts and polos. There is a dress code, so no athletic wear, etc. FOOD & DRINKS: 3-stars for the food and drinks. They have a large cocktail menu, with some creative drinks, but they struggled to make basics on the Thursday night we were there. The espresso martini was probably the worst one I've ever had. I took one sip and had to send it back. There was no foam on top and the waiter said he didn't think they used espresso in their espresso martinis. We ordered all 3 of the skewers, chicken sliders, fries and Cesar salad. The shrimp skewers were the best. The chicken and steak ones were dry and lacked flavor. The sliders were okay, but not great and the prices overall seemed high for the mediocre quality. Fortunately, we weren't here for the food, we were here for the dueling piano performance which was amazing. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. ENTERTAINMENT: 5-stars for entertainment! They have mini-bowling, which was tons of fun. We played a round of bowling when we first arrived, before sitting down for dinner and the show. They have different shows/entertainers throughout the month, so check their website for the schedule. We saw the Dueling Pianos, and they were great!! They took requests, and we had a blast singing along. TLDR: Go for the entertainment! It's a lot of fun. Don't expect amazing food, but definitely expect a good time overall.

If you love to feel like you're part of an exclusive club or you're a fan of secret codes and want to go back in time to the prohibition days, check out Roaring Social! This is a trendy place with ambience, servers dressed in time period clothing, live music, trendy furnishings to allow you to be taken back in time. The lighting, the disco ball sparkling from the ceiling, the weekly schedule of entertainment will draw you in to make this experience one that you will want to repeat! Roaring Socials website is constantly updated to give current information on musicians performing. There is a cover charge after a certain hour but believe me it's worth it! If you have a large group call ahead and make a reservation. They have high top tables, regular tables, lounging couches for group settings and guess what, a small bowling alley! Meals, appetizers, wine, beer, mixed drinks and list of top shelf bourbons and fantastic service! Ashlan kept our drinks coming and served them with a smile!

Roaring Social is a must visit if you're in downtown Alpharetta! There's a $10 cover fee which increases to $20 after 10:30PM to pay for the live band. The band was a lot of fun signing oldies and bangers. The security guys will provide the password before you head downstairs to enter the speakeasy. Overall it's a sophisticated bar and wasn't full of college riff raff - haha. Come dance and enjoy some great drinks!

What a fun and lovely spot for a girls night! Grab your feather and tassels and get ready to dance. We got the bottle service, and having our friend's name/HBD on the sign was a fun treat! The food was good, drinks were strong, and live music was LIVELY. What more can you ask for?

This speak easy with boutique bowling, live music, craft cocktails and finger food is a happy find! We came here with our work group of 10 to relax and unwind after a long day of strategy meetings. It is located right next to the hiltons curio hotel the Hamilton in down town Alpharetta. It is a speak easy, reservations are better then walk ups if you want to play their boutique bowling or get a table. We had a party of 10 and we bowled for an hour... small lanes, a ball like a Bocce ball for a bowling ball, pins on strings, and automatic scoring. A lounge like area to sit in with full bar service. It was fun! From there we had a lounge like area with couches and a coffee table for our eating area. The menu is all aps and "finger" food. The fries are the bomb! Like a cross between a chip and a steak fry... kaplow!! Man these were good! The meat skewers of beef or chicken were good as well. We tried the charcuterie plate... it was ok... we had the wings... I didn't get any but was told they were good. Then we had some deep fried gnocchi... these were strange... just not what I expected I guess... not horrible but not what I would order again. While we were there they had live music and karaoke. It was a really good time! The decor is swanky and fun, it gets crowded, but there is lots of room. Service was good... food was fast, drinks flowed.. it was a great time and I recommend all try this location for a seriously big fun to be had by all.

We had an EXCEPTIONAL time here for my dear friends birthday. I flew into town to visit her and she could not stop taking about this place that she's been meaning to try. It did not disappoint! I am *obsessed* with speakeasies and the creativity that goes into the aesthetic. This is the first time that I've been to one that had an alterations theme! When you arrive, you are greeted at the host stand, given beads, champagne, and a ticket to get your clothing items downstairs. You walk down the stairs into a room full of different mannequins and fashions from the past. You pick up the phone on the wall and say you're here for your alterations and it opens up a door to your left that is the entrance to the bar. Inside, the space is so cute and 1920s! There are prohibition photos and a nice stage for the band. I let them know if was her birthday ahead of time and they brought out of a complimentary bottle of champagne!!!! Amazing The service was impeccable. Really. There was a gentleman that was super drunk hovering around our table asking us a ton of questions and within a few minutes our waiter and management came out to privately check on us and ask if we were being bothered. I was not bothered by the gentleman but just the fact that they noticed that and acted upon it immediately is really phenomenal! I wish more establishments were attentive to making women feel safe in bars. They really exceeded all expectations! I highly recommend visiting this place for any occasion!

I went for my first time last night, and had an immensely incredible experience! The atmosphere/decor was so fun and unique, the music was really jiving, and Rachel and Aldo were incredible bartenders! They provided some of the best service at the bar that I have ever had. They madr fantastic recommendations and drinks! I can't wait to go back!

We ordered the deviled eggs appetizer, my husband ordered the crab cakes, and I ordered the lettuce wraps app as my main. The crab cakes were really good (I had a bite or two), and the buns were unexpected but delicious! The lettuce wraps were also very good, but honestly not what I thought a lettuce wrap would be. I've seen other pictures of them that were much more traditional finger food for brunch, so not sure if they changed them entirely or if this is just dinner version. Tasty, but obviously not for picking up... it would be tricky to wrap them up in that tiny piece of lettuce and I did not want to get dripped on with the sauce. So, if knife and fork lettuce wraps were a thing - this would be it! I think the bib lettuce makes it hard as it's so frail and flimsy, so if I had any suggestions, maybe it would be to try wrapping them from a head of lettuce for a bigger, more firm piece of lettuce. Dessert was a strawberry shortcake. Nice finish to a richly flavored dinner. My husband asked for an espresso and it came in a huge mug. Not sure if this is standard, or if they ran out of demitasse cups. Service was more attentive on front end, but less as they got busy and our server got more tables. I asked another server for water refill and then a manager brought us a dessert menu since our server disappeared. He showed up with the check and we had to tell him we wanted dessert. We made reservation through open table and got seated immediately. When we left, the little lobby area was packed so we definitely went at the right time. I think the servers were getting a little overwhelmed (and I cannot blame them). Still a great view and worth the hassle of finding parking in downtown Alpharetta.

It was warm outside and warm = rooftop bar. It was the start of a great night. Let's get into it! Location and Parking They are located in downtown Alpharetta on South Main Street. The restaurant sits on the fifth floor of an office building. There is no parking directly by the building, however there is free street parking as well as a deck that is free and is a few minutes walk. If you can, I would recommend taking the walk so you're able to see all of the other shops and restaurants and enjoy the live music that's sure to be playing. Venue and Atmosphere When you walk in you're automatically greeted by the hostess. If you are going on a weekend I absolutely would recommend having a reservation, especially if you want to sit outside. We did not, so it was essentially every woman for themselves. In addition to the tables, there were some couches that were first come first served. We lucked up and a woman was leaving and gave us her table. Food and drinks Since this was our first stop we didn't want to fill up too much. We ordered the charcuterie board, which served as a good snack. I ordered their old fashioned made with Knob Creek, my wife had a cider, and our friend has one of their IPA's. Service Service was decent, considering there was a lot going on. With my friend's IPA they were changing the keg and it actually took a while for that to happen, but our server gave my friend another drink at no charge to make up for that fact, which was a nice touch. Verdict I'm not in Alpharetta much, but the next time I am, I'll definitely stop through for a drink and the view. If you're in the area stop on in! Until next time!

The restaurant is in a really nice area of town in Alpharetta with beautiful surroundings and really nice decor, just a really, really nice part of the city. We started off with the Louisiana spring rolls, Cajun crab dip, and a jumbo lump crab cake. The crab dip was really good, and honestly, all of the appetizers were excellent. For the main course, we had the Parmesan-crusted salmon, jumbo stuffed shrimp with crab, branzino, and blackened redfish. Everything was cooked to perfection, and everybody really enjoyed their dishes. The service started off a little slow, probably because we were waiting on one of our party members, but once things got going, we had impeccable service for the rest of the evening. Shout-out to Jason for taking great care of us! The mixed drinks were really good too. A couple had a little more ice than I would have preferred, but hey, it's summertime in Atlanta, so maybe that wasn't such a bad thing! Parking can be a little challenging. There is a garage on the side of the building, but I believe it's primarily for the apartment complex. We parked there and didn't get a ticket, but street parking was definitely a little difficult. All in all, we had a really good evening. The prices were reasonable, and they even offer a military discount, which definitely made the experience even better. If you're in Atlanta and don't mind taking a drive up to Alpharetta, I definitely recommend giving Coalition Steak & Seafood a try. Unfortunately, this visit was the complete opposite. We were seated near the kitchen, which wasn't a problem. The restaurant had a soccer game on the TV, but it was quiet and there was no indication anything unusual was about to happen. Without warning, a group of approximately eight staff members gathered just a few feet from our table and erupted into an extremely loud celebration, screaming at the top of their lungs as if they were in a sports bar. The outburst startled us so badly that it literally sent my husband into atrial fibrillation (AFib). He was visibly shaken and extremely upset, and we were prepared to leave immediately. Our waiter could clearly see how distressed we were. Since we had already ordered the lobster bites appetizer, he kindly offered to move us to another table. We appreciated his effort and accepted. We finished the appetizer, but by then the evening was ruined, so we left and had dinner elsewhere. What disappointed us most was the complete lack of management involvement. Our waiter knew exactly what had happened and how upset we were, yet not once did a manager come to our table to apologize, ask if my husband was okay, or acknowledge that the staff's behavior was completely inappropriate for a fine dining restaurant. This wasn't about cheering for a game--it was about professionalism. Guests who choose a steakhouse expect a calm, enjoyable atmosphere, not to be startled by employees screaming just feet away from their table. We have always enjoyed Coalition, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I hope management addresses this with their staff so no other guests have their evening ruined the way ours was. We will not be back. Later Added: I just found out the Manager was one of the ones screaming. Pathetic! We went to PappaDeauxs which was half the price and honestly better food & calm atmosphere! Not a sports bar!

As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by the hostess, plus a very inviting bar behind the stand. Prior to coming, we needed to change our reservation and they were happily able to accommodate. It was everyone's first time here, so the server explained how their menu works and what are the popular dishes. We started with the seasonal Thai salad, Smokey cabbage and pork belly. Our server put in the incorrect order, instead of the pork belly, she put in the chive fries, but she happily comped this due to error. Out of all the apps we tried, my favorite was the salad and actually the chive fries. Salad was fresh with corn, tomatoes, snow peas and the dressing was nicely salty and a bit spicy. The chive fries are reminiscent of chive pancake but cut in long strips, shaped like fries, though I found the sauce it came with too sweet. For our main entree, we all shared the chicken satay (my personal favorite and that satay sauce was to die for), crab fried rice (flavorful but found the old bay seasoning a bit too overpowering), whole market fish was trout that night (loved this was topped with a fresh salad) and crying thaiger (I didn't eat the steak but the grilled okra and the sauces were delicious). All of the entrees came with jasmine rice, but there's an option to get sticky rice and garlic rice for extra fee. I thought this was a good meal and our server was great. We found service to be a bit slow, but they were pretty busy. It got better towards the end of the night as people were leaving. They also gave free dessert as someone in our party was celebrating their birthday.
