I'm a big foodie and was thrilled to find a well-reviewed spot doing authentic but slightly upscale Thai. I came in solo around 6 pm on a Saturday and got a table with no wait, which was a win. There is a small free parking lot behind the building. I had an outdoor concert ahead of me on a record-breaking heat day, so I was trying not to overeat before standing and dancing for a few hours. The menu isn't your average Thai restaurant. It's seasonally focused and a little fusion-y without ever tasting Americanized. (I'm still kicking myself for not having room for the chive fries, which looked insanely good.) There are a lot of great seafood options, and it was honestly hard to narrow down what to get. My waiter was great at walking me through the menu and pointing out his favorites. I started with the Not a Big Dill cocktail on his recommendation, then settled on one large entree: the crab fried rice, which comes with prik nam pla, plus got an extra side of chili-lime sauce, also at the waiter's suggestion. This place clearly prides itself on craft cocktails, but the Not a Big Dill was just not for me. I love dill and was expecting something savory, but instead felt like I was drinking straight sugar syrup. I'm already pretty averse to sweet drinks and had told the waiter before I ordered that I was trying to avoid anything too sweet. I sent the cocktail back to have them tone it down, and it still came back far too sweet. I was too polite to send it back a second time, so I just drank it (probably my fault). Luckily, the rest of the night proved that this cocktail was just a blip. The crab fried rice is an ABSOLUTE banger, packed with flavor and fresh lump crab. The chili-lime sauce brought the dish to life with herbaceousness, tang, and heat. The prik nam pla was good but milder than I usually like (a bit shocking as I don't usually go for very spicy things, but the chili-lime sauce was drinkably delicious.) The overall portion was too big for one sitting, so I boxed up the rest, and it made an amazing breakfast the next morning. I didn't have room for dessert, but I did get their espresso martini, made with pandan-infused gin, Thai coffee, and coconut foam. It completely redeemed the bar after that first drink. I make no apologies that I licked the cup clean of the coconut foam, lol. It was that tasty. Tipsy Thaiger was better than most restaurants I've been to in Atlanta lately. The service was kind, the atmosphere was cozy and small-town, and it was just a really nice evening out. There was one bad drink, but the overall experience negated the one fumble, so I'm willing to overlook it. I'd easily come back to Roswell just to eat here again.

Brewery #436 This…read moreplace is a beer lover's dream especially hazy IPA's. I got a standard 4 beer flight with 3 IPA's and a Farmhouse Saison. All of the beers were outstanding with the Temporal Distortion triple hazy IPA being my favorite. The building and grounds were very nice. Lots of tv's to watch the games and a very comfortable environment. There is no food served but they do have food vendors set up in the parking lot. That would be my only complaint about the place. They only have parking for like 6-8 cars and the food vendor took up 3 of those. There is public parking across the street about a block away. So, get your steps in and enjoy some phenomenal beer.

So, I'd do a drive by and if it there's nothing available, go park in the free structure on Alpharetta. Short walk over or just rideshare. Friendly staff. They were behind the bar - no table service but they were nice and friendly. Food isn't served so if you want beer, just head up to the bar. If you want food, the food truck, is outside. Keep in mind I was here this past weekend (July) so if any of these are different when you go - get over it. Go grab a round and sit indoors or out and enjoy the pours available. They had/have crowlers (picked up two) and they also have merch if you want. I saw two TV's but I sat up in front - there was an entire section I didn't wander or explore. I didn't sit outdoors either as it was humid. Stuck around in the AC, enjoying a few pours and some pizza from Lilpizzatruck who was providing the eats this past weekend. A chill time for some light snacking and great pours.

It is a bit on the expensive side, so expect that, but it is worth it. The sauces are all AMAZING, especially their ponzu sauce and various aiolis. Pro tip: always ask for a table in the back when you make your reservation because it is much quieter back there. It can be very loud and crowded up front.

We started with the pimento cheese dip and were both surprised to find that it was served hot along with several pieces of soft, warm bread. It was SO good and a nice change from the way that most other restaurants serve their pimento cheese. Even hubby loved it and he is usually not a fan of cheese. For my main, I ordered the grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that this is THE BEST MEAL I have had in a really long time. Total comfort food that hit all the right spots on this chilly afternoon. The cheese on the sandwich was just the right amount of ooey gooey and the tomato soup was perfection. I was tempted to lick the bowl when I got to the bottom, but that wouldn't be very dignified while dining out, so I did the next best thing by sopping up the residue with what was left of my sandwich. It was delicious and I will be back for more soon. Hubby ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and said it was the best chicken sandwich he has had. He is hard to please, so between the pimento and sandwich, 1920 achieved the improbable in impressing hubby. Service was impeccable. The main reason we had not come back in a while is because it is a small space and can feel pretty congested when it fills up, which is not the most comfortable. We don't like feeling crowded, but after today's visit, we decided that the limited space is a small price to pay for amazing food and service, so we will undoubtedly return soon. Perhaps we will try sitting outside instead when the weather cooperates. Big thanks to 1920 for starting our new year off on the right foot!

I wasn't sure what to expect, but it ended up being a really fun twist on game night. Instead of everyone trying to remember the rules or arguing over whose turn it is, your Game Host handles everything so your group can just relax, compete, and have fun. The RFID-powered gaming tables make classics like Spades, Hearts, Uno, and Mafia feel surprisingly interactive, and the personalized video highlights afterward were a nice touch. We also loved that food and drinks are served right to your table, so there's no need to pause the games. If your group wants even more to do, they also have pool, darts, and FIFA World Cup watch parties through July 19. Like if your friend group gets competitive! Their lager is especially good and my favorite on especially warm days. It has more body that you would expect from a lager but still goes down quick when it's hot out. They also have some quirky brews that are unique and quite tasty. My favorite is called Hardwood Floors, it's a Scottish Ale with coffee. Sounds weird but it's really good. The service here is always excellent with bartenders that are friendly and very knowledgeable about the beer. If you're eager to give one of the options a try, they'll be happy to pour you a small sample so you can "test drive" before you buy a pint. The ambiance is always upbeat and cheerful with everyone having a good time with friends and family while enjoying great beer. Plenty of outdoor seating and it's dog friendly. Gate City Brewing Co is a beer-only establishment which works out fine because you are a very short walking distance from several great restaurants. When I meet friends in Roswell for dinner, Gate City is always the starting point and we decided where to eat while drinking beer.
