Awesome choice to stop in here. Hole in the wall pub that reminded me of Savannah. Bartender (Crystal) was fantastic. It was a get to know you by your first name kind of place. Beer was great. 5 stars for hospitality and friendliness! I absolutely adore the ladies there. Super helpful. The food is your standard bar food and pretty good. My only concern was given raw centered burger vs medium rare which they immediately got me a new one. What I also love is the exterior sitting areas and its collection of license plates. They are known to be a spot for motorcyclists...indoor, is not for non-smokers as smoking is allowed inside. Which is nice for those who do smoke cigarettes. Parking is easy I would say definitely experience this cool joint yourself. I'd be interested in trying other items on their menus ..like their fried shrooms! read more

was promised an irish pub and all i discovered was a dive bar full of rude loud locals. Only thing on tap was Bud light? Where's the Guinness? You're not Irish without a proper Guinness. I was also told the kitchen was closed but then a customer came in and ordered a pizza and she got her pizza. I wont be back. what a disappointment. read more

I was treated rude due to covid 19 when I know the owners and most staff...I am offended and feel like a viable social piranha. The bartender and his sib were excellent. However the owner didn't acknowledge me. I am not happy at all. I chose to not support applebees and go there I stead. Yet they were rude. I wouldn't go into public sick . If they are so scared of SLED. Check the back deck. If I see a shutout I call it out. Not a tha k you front upper management Just pure rude. read more

I think have heard it best described as kinda like a Hooters on an ole dirt road. Truly the quintessential dive bar with a decor I would describe as vintage salvage yard sarcastic. You are subject to run into some of the friendliest people you will ever hope to meet. Popular with bikers, more likely the kind you find at the VFW than at an Outlaw rally, and Court House workers alike. A good little lunch spot where folks in the know phone ahead. The Cheese Burger is off the chain! A half pound of fresh ground beef served with the fixings you like on a sesame seed bun. A generous portion of HOT from the fryer fries and as the menu states, "a couple of cheap ass pickle slices". Actually the pickles were crisp and pretty darn good and I got 5 slices with my burger. All this and fresh brewed tea served by the ever engaging and girl next door attractive bartender, Kellie. BTW, the BBB grandmother cooking there is a hoot and conversed with her on such topics as goats, mud pies and grand children. All of this for a paltry sum of $7. These people sent me away with a full belly and a smile on my face. The Thursday "meat and three" special looked pretty good and seemed to be a popular choice. The "main bar" can be a little smokey in this converted Taco Bell that has been a bar for as long as I can remember. There is a covered patio and a non smoking room accessible without having to walk through the bar. I've heard some pretty hateful things said by a precious few about Mulligans and I stand to dispute their claims. All in all, unless you are some sort of hyper-sensitive PC ninny you really won't have any problem with this place. Mulligans is about as real as it gets. read more

Mulligans is where the rubber meets the road... sometimes it's full of Bikers and most always full of American Veterans. The new owner has done a great job in the kitchen in providing traditional American favorites with highest quality and lowest prices possible. Taco's are excellent and the chicken finger salad is outstanding. The Burgers are real meat. Drinks are poured with a heavy hand. Once in a while live music plays there and it's always entertaining. This is a Northeastern neighborhood bar located not too far from Marietta Square. Nice people always have been employed there and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. You can see from the comments, those who believe in American History, Love and respect Our Flag, our US Constitution, our Veterans and First Responders are the clientele. read more

Gentlemen, and Ladies - MULLIGANS is as good as it gets on Roswell St in Marietta, Georgia! I only get into town a few times a year, but always know i can count on a cold draft and a warm reception from the folks around the bar. On my latest visit, I apologized for having traded my SUV for a blue PRIUS, and they graciously accepted and even seemed to get a kick out of having a Japanese car parked out front. I do not go there for the food, but Mulligan's has it - even grilled bologna, in season. Customers smoke, prefer Pabst Blue Ribbon draft, and enjoy lovely lady bartenders. And the signs out front? I take pictures, I have a collection of them, dating back to the one that read "SHUT UP, JESSE" (and, you know what, friends, Jesse has finally quieted down). One time, I brought my wife in for lunch . . . she really enjoyed the talking deer head :-) Personal note to Milton: I was in Mulligan's on Saturday; you invited me to come back on Sunday - I came but had to leave before you arrived - next visit, I buy you a beer. We went to the soft opening of Mulligans tonight and it was amazing! The service was great, the owners are fantastic and everyone, including the other customers, were super friendly. The food was absolutely phenomenal. When the pulled pork nachos arrived the table became silent from the intensity with which everyone was eating. We didn't want to miss a single delicious morsel. Then the brisket sandwiches and smoked Mac and cheese hit the table and it only got better. One bowl of Mac and cheese was left partially full due to the fact that everyone was completely stuffed. Then the owner came out with some samples on new beef sausage they were making and that was incredible too. He continued to tell us about "The Mulligan" sandwich they are working on. The place has been open 35 years. It's not much to look at but it's a great, friendly bar. Owner is a really nice guy. Bartenders are great. Only had a burger there once and it was good. Bar food, cold beer including Pabst Blue Ribbon and a good mix of people. Outside patio area as well. Great biker friendly bar. Messages on the sign state what a lot of people think but are too politically correct to say in public. People that don't like them aren't wanted inside anyway. Great old school bar. read more
