I stopped by for game night with a couple of friends. The space is huge and has lots of options for big groups. They have a great beer selection and a bunch of games you can choose from. Definitely coming back again for another evening out with the friends.

Super fun brewery with a great patio and tasting room. Lots of TVs for game day and enjoyable live music. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's also cool being right in the brew house...lots of equipment is right in the middle of the tasting room. Off The Tracks WC IPA Smooth and velvety with a nice malty flavor then a tasty bitter finish. Holy Schnitzel Marzen with a floater of the Pumpkin Pie Cider First, the cider is amazing. If you like PPS, you will love this. Put it on top of a nice malty German beer and you have PSL for beer lovers. A little bready and a little pumpkiny and sweet. Delicious on a fall afternoon.

We drove all the way up to check out Glover Park and the vibes and atmosphere were just amazing. We had a great time and it was a perfect spot to catch up with new friends. Lots of beer options and a food truck was there providing some grub options as well!

Companion review along with Stockyard Burgers and Bones which were part of "bar crawl" with my Daughter and Sons last year. Running a bit late posting it. As pointed out in the other review, last year my Daughter from California got a chance to meet her two biological brothers in Georgia. Amy was adopted shortly after she was born but her Mother and I had two sons after that. It was a full afternoon at my ex-wife's Condo in Marietta and around 4:00, someone and I think it was Brian aka Bubba who suggested we walk up to Glover Park Brewery. It was only about 3 blocks and most walked but I drove because I was only going to stay a short time and then leave and go back to the hotel to meet up with my wife. She already had a migraine so she had asked to be dropped off the hotel so she could get some rest. Did not thing that being in the heat and the sun would help any with the headache. In any case, we got to Glover Park Brewery right around 4 when they were getting set up to open. The live entertainment was just starting to set up and at that time, very disorganized. Brian suggested we walk a couple blocks to Stockyard and come back later. We did and was impressed with Stockyard and you can read the review elsewhere. After an hour or so, walked back over to Glover Park Brewery and got a nice table. Ordered a round off craft beers and some munchies which were delicious. It's more hands on that Stockyard with Air Hockey Tables, Pool Tables and whatever that game is with the stacked blocks that you see Chris playing with. Stockyard was more beer and bar food and a lot of needed conversations trying to build bonds. Glover Park Brewery was more team building with competition over Air Hockey, Pool, etc. Great exercise and glad everyone had fun. Ended too soon at least for me because I left and went to take Susan out for dinner at the Cracker Barrel across the street from the hotel in Kennesaw. Everyone else stayed and from what I understand, had a great time.

Great outdoor area. Need to swap out your TVs to ones that are outdoor glare proof. Change up food truck.

I visited Glover Park Brewery for a private event last weekend. It was a nice happy hour vibe with a cool aesthetic located off of Atlanta Street in Marietta Square. Parking is limited but there is some free parking in the lot towards the back of the building. The service was good. They had a variety of beer and seltzers. I liked the Berry Lemon Seltzer more than the Peach one (that's pictured). But both had about 6.9 alcohol percentage so they delivered a little buzz to help with socializing . There was plenty of space upstairs to mingle. Overall, I enjoyed my time there.

First visit to this really cool brewery in downtown Marietta. The beer was excellent and they also serve draft cocktails, which made my wife very happy! Huge bar area and also an outdoor area with fireplace, games, food truck, etc. Looking forward to a return visit!

Had a great time at Glover Park Brewery. First off, just to get this out of the way, parking and navigating the parking lot can be quite a struggle. If the lot is full or almost full, it might be easier just to park across the street and walk over. Getting out was a nightmare because of some roadblocks that were unnecessarily set up. Once you get past that, the brewery itself can be quite fun. There's a food truck that will occasionally be parked outside for late night snacks. I believe it's there every Saturday? There are lots of games inside to keep you entertained as well. There's shuffle board and some board games available. As for the drinks, I ordered a flight and liked all of the drinks. If you're not sure what to get, you can get some ideas from the bartender and even sample a few before ordering. The flight is $10 and you can choose any 4 beers with 4.5 oz pours. Overall, I think it's a great place to bring a group of friends to drink and have a good time.

Ask the Community - Glover Park Brewery

    Allow outside food?

If you sit outside, they don't really check on you too often even though they do have servers. So you can get away with it as long as you don't have a huge spread. Then they will probably tell you it's not allowed because they often have a food…

The Djs Spinning on the 1's & 2's Frank Ski & DJ PNut played nothing but great music for the Grown & Sexy Crowd to dance all night. Definitely lots of dancing & line dancing. You already know they played 'Where dem Fans At & The Tamia Dance, surprisingly they also played The Wobble & The Electric Slide. Drinks & Food were delish, a must try is the Grilled Vegetable Pasta. The servers & hookah girls were mediocre. I went to Soho Lounge for a girls' night with friends and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised…read more I am usually a little hesitant about lounges but this is easily one of the better ones in the Atlanta area. Parking One of the first things I appreciated was the parking situation. You actually have options here. Valet was twenty dollars which I chose, or you can park for free yourself. A lot of lounges make you pay for parking so I thought this was a nice touch. Atmosphere and Seating I found the lounge through a quick Google search and was drawn in by the fact that they had both a live band and the legendary DJ Frank Ski performing that night. The vibe is definitely mature with people dressed in linen suits, nice dresses and heels. I did not make a reservation and arrived about forty five minutes after opening. At that point the bar was already full and the only free option was a shared section for walk-ins. Honestly it worked out well. The section easily fit twelve to fifteen people and we had more than enough space. I strongly recommend making a reservation if you want your own table. Food and Drinks The menu is pretty limited but I split the seafood plate with a friend. It came with fried catfish, shrimp, and potato rounds. Everything was hot, well seasoned, and came out quickly. For drinks I had two French 75s with cognac and they were made perfectly balanced and smooth. Service Our server Taya was wonderful. She was attentive, friendly, and patient with all of our questions. The only hiccup was with the hookah service. On the refill the hookah was not pulling correctly and it took a little back and forth before they swapped it out. Once it was fixed we were good to go. Overall Between the live entertainment, great drinks, solid food, and attentive service I had a really good time. I would definitely come back, especially with a reservation in place.

I recently attended my sister's wedding here. It's very quaint. I think it's a bed and breakfast?…read moreUpstairs they have some rooms with bathrooms. The beds seem a bit small so not sure how romantic that is. The floors are also quite squeaky if I remember correctly. Very charming! The main hall can seat a lot of people, but you do have to clear out some tables to make for a decently sized dance floor. They have a porch here which makes for nice photos. The backyard is presumably where you hold the wedding reception. There are some very steep stairs going down to the backyard.

We held our annual company holiday party this year at the Whitlock Inn in Marietta. The Whitlock…read moreInn is a historic Victorian home built in 1900. It's located next to Marietta Square. The inn is a popular spot for weddings. Their slogan is "we put the Marry in Marietta." They've won multiple awards from wedding service company The Knot. It's not hard to see why. The home is beautiful and for our party, it was tastefully and elegantly decorated for the holidays. In addition to weddings and holiday parties, the inn also hosts many corporate and social events. It's a charming, smaller, intimate setting. The house was traditionally decorated with Christmas wreaths and lights. As we walked up to the house, it looked like a scene from a Christmas movie. The home felt warm and inviting. I estimate we had about 100 attendees at the party. I believe the venue can host up to 150. Our party consisted of cocktails and dinner. A coat rack was set up in the office near the front door. A bar was set up in one of the parlors. The inn doesn't have a liquor license, so we had to bring our own alcohol. Food was catered by Carriage House Catering, which is located on-site. The small dining room had a dessert table, tea and water, and a coffee station. The dessert table's centerpiece was a classic gingerbread house. It was surrounded by chocolate bourbon pecan pies (derby pie), large glass containers filled with creme brulee and colorful berries, plates of baked brie, and other decadent sweets. Coffee was kept warm and stored in an ornate silver coffee dispenser. Chocolate shavings and a bowl of whipped cream were available to add to the coffee. Dinner was served buffet-style and consisted of a mixed field salad with cherries, walnuts, Parmesan, and a spiced orange vinaigrette, hot Charleston crab dip served with flatbreads, sauteed seasonal vegetables including carrots, zucchini, and asparagus, red skin mashed potatoes, sliced prime rib in a rosemary au jus with spicy horseradish sauce, roasted salmon fillets cooked with pomegranate buerre blanc (white butter), and dinner rolls. Overall, the food was pretty good. The salmon was dry, but that was the only "bad" thing. Most of the other items were delicious. My favorites were the flavorful field salad, the savory vegetables, and the consistently soft and appetizing mashed potatoes. The desserts were excellent and the coffee station was fun. I enjoyed the rich chocolate bourbon pecan pie. Service was good. The bartenders filled drinks to the brim and servers made sure the buffet was replenished regularly and finished plates were cleared from the tables. Our dinner took place in the large ballroom which had chandelier lighting. There was a pianist in the dining room who played Christmas music non-stop throughout the night (3-4 hours). Aside from the ballroom, the house has many areas to congregate and socialize including the aforementioned dining room and parlor rooms, as well as front and back porches outside. There are also gardens outside. Inside, holiday decor included a brightly lit tree, festive candles, Nutcrackers, Christmas trumpets, poinsettias, and a staircase lined with ornamented garlands. It was picturesque. Plenty of parking is available at SunTrust Bank next door or across the street at First United Methodist Church. I recommend parking at the bank so you don't have to walk across the street.
