You can find frog Rock Brewing Company at 2674 Broad St Austell, GA 30106. This is right on the old town square, I believe - there are shops that run up one side of the street with free parking along the other side. Neat brewery with a welcoming interior, the taproom is in front right when you walk in with a few tables and tall stools at the bar. The brewhouse is in the back mostly along the left wall - there's also a door in the rear that provides access to a outdoor patio beer garden. While there (yesterday 2024.12.07) there was a Santa at an elevated area with an open fire. I tried a flight of what looked to be the most interesting on the menu. There appears to be 16 available drinks on tap, including a couple of seltzers. I tried: * Berry Buzz fruited sour - Tasty little sour, dry tart body with notes of raspberry and a touch of lime, very clean. 4/5 * Holiday Hops hazy IPA - Fairly tasty IPA with a great mouthfeel, hoppy fragrant nose and slightly dry finish. 4/5 * Frogtality barleywine - As barleywine go, this is pretty basic, yet satisfying. Could definitely use more sweet malt, finishes fairly clean. 3.5/5 * Dark Side of the Pond brown ale - Not sure what's going on with this - registers more of a light porter with zero malt sweetness and a bitter burnt finish. Not a typical brown ale. 3/5 Service was awesome, easy to have a conversation with those working the bar. I'll return from time to time to see what's new. read more

We enjoyed relaxing at Frog Rock Brewing with Justice as our bartender. The beer is unique with its base of local mineral water.

I recently worked with Frog Rock Brewery to host my birthday... and it was an AMAZING experience. My guests loved the space, the staff, and the drinks (of course!!). The events coordinator, Lindsey, was great. I had such a great time. I highly recommend Frog Rock. Anyone who thinks brewery names, beer names, or beer labels don't matter and the only important thing is good beer is fooling themselves. Beer quality is extremely important but names and marketing get people to try the beer. I chose Frog Rock Brewery today because it sounded fun! It was and this is also brewery visit #294 for me. I arrived at Frog Rock after trying another, very different, brewery a few miles away. Frog Rock is small but has that cozy, non-corporate feel that I do appreciate in a brewery. I sat at the bar and didn't actually order a flight but did a few samples and then grabbed a pint of my favorite. Austell La Vista Mexican lager was tasty. I always appreciate a good Mexican lager and I appreciate the excellent play on words in the name. Salud! Fightin' Frogs Irish red was what I needed. SWPFTD would go with a pint of this as well, because she is always right. I've learned that but it has taken me many years to admit it. Dark Side of the Pond American brown was tasty for sure but not what I wanted now. Hair of the Frog coffee barley wine was smooth and had a nice coffee flavor but a little alcohol to it as well. Right across from where I was sitting at the bar was a stuffed Kermit the Frog, which I found funny because my Mom used to call me Kermit when I was a kid. FRB has some tasty beers and the whole place was friendly. It had the neighborhood hangout vibe which the larger breweries are usually lacking. Just tried this Brewery and it's a great pet friendly addition to the downtown of Austell. Very welcoming and friendly staff. They have live music at 6 pm on Friday and Saturday nights (usually a single performer inside). On the first Saturday the month, they have music on the stage in the outdoor theater. The outdoor area is full of chairs, with a fireplace, bocce court, and corn hole. The back doorway is large and opens up to the backyard courtyard. There is plenty of space and chairs on both sides of the building. I tried a few beers and they are happy to let you sample as much as you want to find your favorite. It's a nice selection of beers and seltzers. You can buy a bag of pretzels or popcorn. Food trucks come to the front door for you to get a meal. There is one bathroom and it stayed busy. No TVs to watch the game. This place is more about hanging out with friends and dogs! read more

I had a chance to visit the Frog Rock Brewing Company tonight for their Ribbon cutting held by Cobb Chamber of Commerce. Our sponsor for the event was Mazloom Law Firm. So glad I took the time to go and see what Frog Rock brewing is all about. I loved it. Ambience is great when you first walk in you think it's a small little place but they have an outdoor patio. They have table seating. They've got a fire pit, it's a great place to just hang out with friends. The owner shared with us that his beverages are made with Lithia Springs mineral water made for great beverages. I would recommend this to friends and I plan on coming back to visit it and bring my friends. Congratulations on a new cool place to hang out at. read more

Interesting spot to check out - the beer has a unique taste (not overwhelming) from the spring water used. Large inside with plenty of tables and a cool outdoor seating area as well. Plenty of parking on the street, we stopped by for a beer on a Sunday. While they do not have flight options, you can order each beer in a variety of sizes. read more

We were met at the door by a ~100# dog. My wife is allergic to dogs. There was nothing on Untappd about the place being a dog bar. To be fair, there was a sign on the door, after we drove ~20 miles out of our way to get there. If you like unrestrained large dogs in your bar, this is your type of place. read more

Great addition to downtown Austell. Justin greeted us on our first visit and has never forgotten our names or likes. He along with both Justice and Ryan have made us feel like we are at home. This little gem in historic Austell boasts a lovely beer garden complete with stage for live music, a beautiful outdoor fireplace for those chilly nights and they also bring in food trucks for those wanting to pair their beers with food fare.
