    Schoolhouse Brewing Barcade.

This is a great barcade. The drinks are fabulous, the service is phenomenal, the pinball and arcade games are in good order and well maintained (by Portal Pinball from Acworth). If you go on the early afternoon, you can hear the games as you play. They have board games, an outdoor seating area, and PS2 games. People are friendly, dogs are welcome, you can leave your CC at the register to open a tab as you relax or game. They so brewing on site and sell supplies for brewing. Including helpful kits for beginners to start a new hobby.

Got into town not long before these guys were scheduled to close but we popped in for a pint. The bartender was great and encouraged us to have another and not rush. All in all we tried three IPAs and each one was better than the next! A nice large location with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We learned they have an interesting concept. They never brew the same beer twice. Once a particular beer is gone they package up ingredients and recipe to make that beer and have it for sale on site for folks that want to brew at home. Plenty of home brewing supplies available on site as well! Great spot!

We love going to schoolhouse. Their beers are always great and they have a huge selection all the time! They're constantly coming out with new brews which is awesome. The space itself is cool, with games to play, outdoor areas, and school vibes to give it a unique atmosphere. I wish it wasn't secluded in an office park but I do know they opened another location so I will try that one next! The service has always been quick and friendly as well.

Wide open with a great patio. Unfortunately, it was 95 degrees so I stayed inside and enjoyed the AC. Their selection is great and the staff is helpful and friendly. I ordered a beertender concoction. The Side Beach hard seltzer mixed with the Tropical Like its Hot barrel aged sour. It was delicious. Fruity, sour and just the right amount of caramel and smoke from the barrel. Coconut and guava. Yum! I also had the Wicked Pissah hazy NE IPA. It's dry and earthy and at 51 IBU just bitter enough. It's a little bit citrusy but not too much. I'm thinking there is a blend of Citra and Mosaic hops in this beer. I finished up with Serial Chiller. A session IPA at 5% ABV and 53 IBU. It's mild, has a bit of a citrus flavor and nice bitterness. This is another ode to mosaic hops and the addiction of Idaho 7 and Nectaron. They also have a brew shop, which I wish more breweries had. It's great to have a place to buy beer supplies and be able to talk to larger scale brewers.

This was my first time at Schoolhouse, and as the name suggests, there are quite a few reminders of your youth. They have school-bus chairs, a principal's office, and home room desks. If ever you need to walk back into memory lane do check this place out. Besides which they have a good selection of beer to suit anyones palette. I tried the peaches and crème sour, and Nicole had their Hazy IPA. Both were tasty. There is ample seating inside and out. The outside seating are on Adirondack chairs on mini River rock pebbles, that surround fire pits. Pretty nice setup. I counted 9 different outdoor fans to keep the bugs to a minimum, which was also nice. Nice that this place is just 15 minutes from where we live so we will definitely be back.

We really enjoy going to Schoolhouse Brewing. We live in Marietta, so the location is super close to us, and it has its own parking lot, so you don't have to deal with driving into the city and finding parking. They have a good amount of seating inside, and even more outside. Their outdoor area is low-key and has cute lights and fire pits throughout. They are dog friendly and even allow them inside, which is really nice. Their beer is good. I like their sours, and my husband likes their IPAs. They are unique in the fact that they always rotate their beers - they don't keep a flagship beer on tap. They have food trucks on the weekends, and We don't home brew, but they do have a home brew store inside, which is cool!

Got invited to a friends going away party, and this was the spot. I had never heard of this brewery prior so that was shocking to know there was another brewery near me. The location of this one reminds me of Tucker Brewing: both are located in industrial parks. You might seem a bit confused while driving to this one, but if you think you're going the wrong way ... you're not. I give this location 5 stars for the atmosphere & creativity. Plenty of room to relax and spread out inside, with two gaming screens, large screen to watch the big game, community tables, old school bus seats to sit in, games galore, comfy outdoor area with fans & a country boutique type souvenir shop. It's a great hang out. I do love that the name of the place aligns with what they have within: the bus seats and the report card for the beer. I opted to start with a flight: Peaches N Cream, Terminal Wheat, Tin Foil Hat and Kick Axe. The Peaches Sour was not good: F. The Terminal Wheat was meh as far as wheat beers go: D. The Kick Axe was strong but still not too much to my liking: C. The Tin Foil Hat was actually really good, as far as light beers go: B. My favorite was the big pour I did and can't freaking recall what it was: either the Alien Amber or the I'll Be Bock. It was a B+. Overall, I'd give the beers a C. Certainly a good place to gather with friends. I would leave the expectations of great beer at home, and you'll not be disappointed.

Hidden gem....like seriously hidden back in what looks like an office park. Loved it once back there with the summer outdoor area that is pet friendly. Had a nice stout beer as we played some pinball. Really nice collection of Pinball if are in to that and if you are not be careful as you may be get hooked (especially on the new game of Jaws).

Let me just say that this rating has zero to do with the School of Brewhouse. @ClassPop holds their cooking class experience here. And also, Chef Chris was nice but to pay for a cooking experience based on what's on the website is not what you get. And...if this was actually on Valentines, I would be very disappointed in this experience and that my boyfriend be charged $200 for this supposedly amazing culinary experience. Luckily ours was only $85 per person, but it was less than a $20 experience. Luckily, my boyfriend and I enjoy anything we do and we laughed our way through the night and kept each other entertained. Also, let me say, we are foodies and also know how to cook and enjoy cooking a lot together. We thought we getting a semi-culinary experience with a chef and in a more intimate setting (based on their website) but that is NOT what we got. We literally learned how to make fresh pasta (flour, durum flour, eggs, and a dash of water). I enjoyed the pasta making and we made the best of it. (2 hours). Then we sat over 30 mins waiting on water to boil. For someone who has done this 12 years and taught for 27 years, I'm really disappointed overall and we were not the only ones. People drove over an hour to come so this experience. Wouldn't he have had that water boiling before class? All we did was make pasta. Literally, make pasta. We didn't learn how to make the red pasta sauce (from a can and some crab cherry tomatoes) or the pesto sauce. I know our table alone was sorely disappointed in the experience. No salad. No bread. No protein. No meatballs. How hard would it have been to add any one of these items???? Nothing!!! Just a plate of bland pasta. I'm allergic to basil so I couldn't even try the second pasta. He gave me a "smidgen" more of the red pasta because I couldn't have the other. I don't understand why each table wasn't making a different dish to pair with the pasta??? We sat with picnic table covers, served pasta on paper plates (environmentally friendly)and wooden forks. We grated fresh parmigiana cheese but we didn't get to add that to our pasta. No salt. We at least had crushed red peppers and pepper. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this experience by Chef Chris/ Class Pop. Their website is much better than the experience you will ever get, including the reviews. Again, this was my Valentines gift and experience and it was a true disappointment and I would not recommend it to anyone. Don't waste your money or time. We are headed elsewhere for dinner, drinks and laughs!

This is the first time I have been here and I was really impressed with the outdoor sitting area. I also like the indoor area, although I spilled most of my beer at the video game station however the staff was very friendly and cleaned up for me. The beer was surprisingly really good. I had two of the hazy ipas! I will definitely be back and maybe my go-to brewery!

Schoolhouse brewery is one cool brewery! They have rotational beers, meaning that they never repeat the same beers on tap. They have a brewing night, in which people who brew at home can come in and learn and share with other brewers. They have a little show to get some of your brewing needs. The space is huge,  both inside and out. Games, ping pong, a foosball table, pinball machines, as well as a few console games and a mini shop. They host different events throughout the month, comedy shows, arts and crafts, etc. The building is litered with lights and personality,  if you haven't been here, and like beer, i recommend a visit!

I came here to celebrate a friend's birthday and was totally unaware of this hidden gem. They have an expansive outside space that is gated and super dog friendly. We sat on the patio on what appeared to be elementary school benches. You definitely get some of the school vibe. When I went in to order they had some laminated menu up front away from the line then another stand near the line. I was blown away by the variety of beers but wasn't seeing anything that tickled my fancy. I tried both of their New England IPAs, the Laziness and Flashback. While they were good, and resembled beer, I don't believe either carried the flavor fruity or juicy punch of modern NE IPAs. Maybe I ordered the wrong beer? Or perhaps I should've had a flight? What I loved about this place was the huge expansive indoor and outdoor space, but only wish I had a better more educated tasting experience.

Nice clean brewing, plenty of free parking and the. There is the beer. Slightly disappointed in the quantity of IPAs but the two they had tonight were both very good. Although being in SEC country, they still got the big 10 game I was looking for for on the big screen. The service was good tans the bartender was very knowledgeable about their brews.

Ask the Community - Schoolhouse Brewing

    Is it dog friendly?

Schoolhouse is dog friendly. It has plenty of space, especially outside, where dogs can mingle with the rest of us brew lovers.

Do they have a good selection of German Beers?

We do not have any flagship beers, our taps are constantly rotating. At this time in the German category, we have a Kölsch, a Hefeweizen, and a strawberry fruited Hefeweizen. Make sure to check out our website for a list of beers currently on tap as… Read more
