My wife and I contacted Sushil very late into our wedding planning process, as in weeks before the wedding, and our only regret is that we didn't reach out to him sooner! Sushil's professionalism, attention to detail, and wonderful, easy-going communication style stood out far beyond any other wedding designer we worked with. I can confidently say without him and within our timeframe, we would not have been able to pull together such an incredible vision for not one or two, but THREE unique, gorgeous events. The Sangeet, a fun, festive, colorful design full of floral patterns and gorgeous royal purple. The Ceremony, with a stunning mandap made of entirely fresh florals. Finally, the Reception, full of elegant touches and red flowers, created an absolutely dazzling finale to our wedding. Our first look at the reception was truly incredible, and we loved the surprise entrance Sushil added in (so magical!) All three events were unique, vibrant, and full of love - not only a reflection of our ideas as the bride and groom, but the love and passion Sushil has for his work. If you're wondering which designer to use for your wedding, Utopian Events is definitely worth meeting. Sushil will not lead you astray - he has a true eye for detail, and his ability to bring your vision to life is phenomenal.

At our initial meeting I pulled in to her cottage with plenty of parking in the rear and when I walked in, it was like a fairytale inside. She had tables, seating, columns and chandeliers already set up so you could see samples of her work. She also had invitations, faux cakes and photos from her suggested vendors as well. I knew immediately she was the woman for the job. She offered me a drink and we sat down. She noticed I was pregnant and made me feel so comfortable. I told her with being pregnant I didn't want the stress of planning the wedding to affect me or my baby. She assured me that she would make my wedding day the most memorable, beautiful day ever. Marina showed me tons of ideas and she also listened to mine she helped me decide on exactly what I was looking for. She walked me through several decor ideas and helped me find the perfect venue. She said she would get everything started as far as the venue and decor planning right away and we scheduled our next meeting. We only needed to meet very few times throughout the planning process because Marina is a veteran at this game, she knows decor, venues and vendors so she can basically make anything happen if you just let her know your needs. On the days leading up to my wedding I was calm and comfortable that she would be able to execute all of my details. I was able to incorporate all of the ideas I had but in a very beautiful way. The day of my wedding was absolutely magical from the moment I walked in my bridesmaids and I were taken to the bridal suite and given the most beautiful hand made bouquets to walk down the aisle with. She had everything all set up in the bridal suite to make my fiends and family so comfortable. She interacted so well with my family, they loved her. She was very organized on the day of and managed the time line perfectly. The wedding started right on time and my guests didn't have to wait at all. When I walked down the aisle I was absolutely captivated by how magical and beautiful everything looked. I couldn't believe I was actually living out my dream wedding. She did things with my initial vision that I could have only imagined. The ceremony was beautiful but the reception was even more amazing. The place settings, chairs and center pieces were to die for. Everything had so much detail all the way down to the floor. She really knows how to pull it all together. She made sure all the vendors were on time and on point I honestly didn't worry about any of the details on the day of. She made sure to include all of the special moments so mentioned and took good care of my family throughout the night. If you're looking to have your dream wedding no matter the ideas you may have she can make it happen. If you're worried about the planning details like hotel, venue, cake and who will be your officiant or even your caterer, Marina and her team walk you through the entire process without worry. You can be yourself and she doesn't dismiss your vision. She is a pleasure to work with an she loves family. Check out my pictures below and feel free to contact me with any questions about my wedding experience with Marina events and design studio. I won't be getting married again anytime soon but any other events or friends that need a referral will all be sent to Marina. Thanks again Marina you're family now and we love you and your amazing team!

To top it all off, we had just about three weeks to plan the event and I ended up having to drop everything and travel due to a family emergency. Our home isn't particularly big and we had a lot going on, but Monica worked tirelessly to ensure that our timing and space concerns were addressed (to fit 40 for cocktails, sit-down dinner, games, and dancing). Monica put together an event our guests will certainly remember. From the decorative wall with the balloon arch, decorations and center pieces, the tables, table cloths, Chiavari party chairs, the bar, the DJ, and much more. Everything looked beautiful and our home was glowing! In addition, Monica helped coordinate the layout for the buffet. She also hired a bartender and DJ for us. As you might imagine, retaining a great DJ, in less than three weeks and during prime season is quite a feat. Our last guests left at 4:00 am - it was a huge success! Look no further - Monica is the party planner to hire!

I was the Maid of Honor for my friends' Cher and Tony's wedding and I was also their unofficial wedding planner. They originally had a day of coordinator provided from another company - this coordinator dropped the ball on so many occasions that we had to fire her and look for a new one TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE WEDDING. I emailed Amanda in a panic and she replied within an hour and hopped on the phone with me to hear my concerns over what didn't work out with the previous person and also let me know that they potentially had someone available. In comes Audrey - organized, professional, and overall a gem of a human being. The difference between her and their old coordinator was night and day! She came in two weeks prior and was able to get a wrangle on all the vendors and organization details. She came to the walkthrough so prepared that even their other vendors were impressed. We were so stressed with our old coordinator but all the stress came right off after Audrey took over. On the day of the wedding, we also had Maeghan onsite (another amazing human being btw) - every last detail was PERFECT. Everything was set up the way the bride had wanted. The wedding went off without a hitch and it wouldn't have happened that way without the team at Fete and Figs.

No problem! She had extras in her car. My dog getting muddy paw prints all over my dress? Ashley had special wipes that made everything look good as new. We could only afford to hire her as a day of coordinator, but she went above and beyond to help us through every phase. She quickly understood what our vision was for the event was and did everything in her power to make it a reality. She is decisive (when you can't be), ready with a trusted vendor recommendation (when you need it), extremely professional and has a good eye for what's hot (and what's not). She also has a wickedly good sense of humor. She is also fabulous at negotiating prices with vendors so I suggest you get that package if you can swing the cost. We couldn't, but Ashley still helped us get a good price with certain vendors and even came to my dress fitting although I'd already used up the consultations included in my package. In response to the other reviewer: it may take her a little while to respond to emails because she has other clients with weddings taking place before yours. But she always got back to us in less than 48 hours with very detailed responses and her response time was even faster--mere hours--during the last month of the planning. I cannot imagine what the planning would have been without such wealth of information just an email away. Unlike some other planners I've heard stories about, Ashley worked behind the scenes on our wedding day to make everything ran smoothly and only came to us with questions when it was absolutely necessary. You have no idea how important this is. We got to spend time with our family, friends and each other instead of worrying about the small stuff. As a result, the entire event was a success and everyone is still raving that it was the most fun and beautiful wedding they have ever been to. We had a blast too! We would absolutely hire her again without any hesitation and enthusiastically recommend her. She is the best of the best!
