Took my daughter out for a nice lunch today, and we decided to try Voodoo Brewing for the first time. As soon as we walked in, my daughter spotted an appetizer that a nearby table was enjoying, and she begged me to get the same thing. It seemed to be a tray of loaded fries. As I perused the menu, I decided that it must have been the pulled pork fries, so we started with that. Considering there were only two of us, we made a significant dent in this tray. It was delicious! On the bottom of the tray was a generous layer of beer cheese upon which the fries were laid and then topped with bbq pulled pork, a little bit of maybe sour cream or some other type of cream, and pico de gallo. The fries remained crispy throughout, and the whole thing had a great balance of flavor. 10/10 would recommend. Don't skip this app! The server was attentive, and when I was undecided, she suggested that I try the pulled pork grilled cheese. Since it was a lunch special, she told me I could get that in whole or half. I opted for half since we had such a big appetizer, and was glad to have that option. My daughter ordered the kids' mac and cheese with fries. The sandwich I ordered lived up to the hype. I really enjoyed it. I also tried my daughter's mac and cheese, which also seemed to have the beer cheese. It was probably the best kids' mac and cheese dish I've tried anywhere. Service was good, and the food was amazing, so we will likely be back soon. Great spot! read more

Brewery # 435 Chain Micro-Brewery? I had no idea that was a thing but apparently Voodoo has over 25 locations across multiple states. You too can buy one now. Anyway, we came in here since I am on a quest to go to all the breweries, like Pokémon I wanna catch them all! I ordered my standard flight, but it came with 6 beers so that was a plus. The tap list was very heavy on IPA so I got 4 of those, a fruit beer and wheat beer. My favorite was probably Roswell Vibes, and everything else was pretty good. We also ordered dinner. I got a Snowbird Salad, which was a steak salad that had French fries in it. It's still healthy though right? It had salad in the name! The salad was really good. The beer was solid, and the space was nice for a strip mall atmosphere. My only complaint was they closed early for a private event but didn't have any signs up. This is a story of about incredible, unreasonable, hospitality and customer service. We were already big fans of Voodoo, but got frustrated after driving from Alpharetta twice only to find that they were closed for private events. I expressed my frustration in a message on Instagram and Betsy, the owner, was quick to respond. She expressed her sincerest apologies and offered a pair of pub glasses and a couple free beers in an effort to make up for their lack of communication. She didn't have to do that, but she did it anyway and that goes a LONG way in building customer loyalty. We will be Vodoo brand ambassadors from here on out, because when you genuinely take care of your customers, that's what you deserve. Bravo, Voodoo! This place has really evolved into an incredibly solid spot. If you came here in the early days, the food was very different. They have a really good in house chef that has a very good menu selection, from salads, sandwiches, wood fired pizza, mussels, and the wings are fantastic. TV situation - a feel of a sports bar yet also highly craft beer spot feeling, I like that you can catch a game on a really good sized TV here but still have a good solid chill vibe. Service - always on point, always have what I need there, friendly service as well. Pro Tip - make sure to check out the patio overlooking the lake, it's a beautiful spot to each outdoors! read more

Nice atmosphere, super friendly people! I came by to meet a friend while I was in town and quickly I was seated by the bar and was asked what kind of beer I liked. I mentioned a hazy IPA and bartender recommended one and gave me a sample! It was the Roswell vibes, delicious! I got the bacon blue burger with fries. Really enjoyed that too! "Do do that voodoo that you do so well" Cole Porter A lazy day and a spontaneous stop brought me to Voodoo Brewing. The brewery sits at the end of a strip center, a bit different then other local breweries, but has a great patio above a nearby lake, perfect for sitting outside on a great day. Service was fantastic, unfortunately I don't remember the team members name. Being first timers, she was very helpful in recommendations and happily poured a few samples. I'm not really a beer snob, but I would say that some were definitely better than others. They have a creative, eclectic pub menu that includes appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, pizza etc We went with the "Voo-Dill Pizza" (House made roasted garlic pesto, shredded galbani mozzarella, thick cut pickles, and Voodoo's top secret Voo-dill seasoning.) and it was terrific. First of all, brown ale. This is hard to find in Georgia for some reason. They didn't have it canned or bottled -- only growler -- so that sucks, but it's still a place I think I'm going to enjoy visiting multiple times. The food here is mostly pizza and sandwiches forward... but it's unexpectedly good! The surprise was that the Turkey BLTA was the best thing. The sourdough bread was done right, both sides toasted -- just kind of an elevated sandwich that I am still thinking about. Interior space is wide open, lots of seating, with friendly, knowledgeable bartenders and servers. This place is awesome. :) read more

I grew up in Alpharetta and come home every year for vacation. I try to find new breweries. Went here and let me tell you. Some of the best beer I have had. They have a great selection of Beer. The staff is super friendly and awesome. Will definitely be coming back here when I'm home. read more

Fantastic experience at Voodoo! The pulled pork mac and cheese was absolutely outstanding, creamy, smoky, and packed pulled pork. This is like right next to my office... so we just started a get together here once a month for the office. It was my first time here and I really didn't know what to expect. First off no cash here... only cards and Apple Pay. Don't come expecting to pay with cash... they don't take it. I mean we all knew this time was coming right? The inside was pretty cool.. roomy with a nice vibe! They have a really big selection of brews here. Some high alcohol content and some with no alcohol content. If you follow me you know I'm in the no alcohol camp. They have a freaky good dark chocolate beer here. It is in a can but it is really good! I'd come back just for that. They have food options but this time I didn't sample any. The service was good and the place was nice. I'd say it is a great brew spot... well worth checking it out! read more

Not our cup of tea...or beer. Turns out it was trivia night when we went. Just entering the establishment we could tell it would be loud, and we were right. Trivia was only going to amp the sound higher so we opted to go outside so that we had a fighting chance of a conversation. Outside tables were small and not conducive to four people having dinner but we were willing to give it a try. Drinks came out fine, then we ordered chicken quesadillas as an appetizer. The menu said grilled chicken but the quesadilla had breaded chicken fingers in them. No bueno! Apps weren't delivered with plates, nor napkins. Silverware was provided. Ordered second drinks but they were late in delivery so given the heat and the situation we opted to cancel the additional drinks, pay the bill and find another venue for our dinner. I should mention they do not take cash, card only, and we were asked to provide a card upon being seated in order to run a tab. When the machine was presented to us to sign the check, the tip options were as follows: 22% 25%. 30% Custom. Yes, the tipping culture is out of control. Custom it was. No doubt others enjoy this place and I'm happy for them, but for a couples dinner hoping for conversation, this wasn't the time nor the place. read more

A fantastic new brewery in Roswell, GA on Mansell Rd right at Old Roswell near 400. Apparently opened late 2024, I was very happy to discover driving by 1 day as I was pretty sure I had a pretty good lock on every brewery within a 30 mile perimeter of my house. I tried a 5oz pour of 6 different beers and they were all wonderful. Flagship Good Vibes IPA was right up my alley and I probably could have just stayed right there but first time in a new brewery I feel the need to try a few. Hazy Vibes IPA was very good as well. Lager time was solid. I've been getting more and more into Mexican Lagers lately and the Collateral Collaboration with NoFo did not disappoint. Thunder Lizard and Love Child were dangerously delicious for such high ABVs. Finished it all off with the Empty Calories Light Lager and it was also on point, kind of like a mich ultra but with a lot more flavor. The food menu looked great and everything I saw coming out of the kitchen made me wish that I hadn't already eaten at Slurpin Ramen while waiting on my car wash at Mammoth Detail Salon. They also have wine so that means I can bring my wife here! They have liquor as well. The ambience is great with a big inside dining area with tables and couches, a solid bar and a very nice dog friendly outdoor patio. Several families with small children were also enjoying it here during my visit as well. I am so glad to have such a high quality brewery so close to home that my whole family can enjoy. read more

Super awesome new brew pub in the area! The food was so good, packed with flavor, and definitely memorably unique. The staff is really friendly and helpful when it came to answering our questions, checking in on us, and going over the menu. Upon arrival you can choose to grab a seat straight at the bar or sit at a table where there will be a QR code for you to scan. Once you've scanned it, it will direct you to a website to start your tab on and place your orders. This system was very easy to use and you can close out your tab by paying on your phone as well. My husband got a flight of beers and enjoyed the variety while I got a butter pecan soda. The soda was absolutely the best craft beverage I've ever had!!! I was skeptical but I love butter pecan and wanted to give it a try. I was blown away and literally went back the next day to buy 4 more to take home. As for the food, I had a side of Mac and cheese and the pepperoni appetizer. Both arrived hot and were very complimentary with one another. My husband got the pizza and it was very cheesy, a good size, and had ample toppings. We look forward to coming back here again so we can try more menu items! read more

My hubby and I visited the brewery last night, 9/4/25. It has a nice vibe and a cute outdoor beer garden near a small lake. It was pretty quiet at the time we were there but we found it was kind of a quiet night at several other places as well. Maybe people were watching football at home. We didn't eat so I can't speak to the quality of the food. We both had an IPA which we enjoyed! The bartender was our only encounter with staff. He was nice and seemed knowledgeable about the beer selection. This brewery does have a full bar and wine if beer isn't what you are looking for. I hope the crowds pick up and the brewery is successful! read more

What a disappointing first experience. I had friend in town from Germany and wanted to try out a new beer spot and decided on voodoo from the reviews. When we arrived there were probably 10-15 people dining/drinking and we found a spot at the bar. After ordering a flight of three beers each we were completely ignored, never asked if we'd like to order food or another beer and we sat there with empty beers for over 20 minutes. After staring laser beams at the bartender for 10 minutes after that trying to get his attention to pay, he finally acknowledges us and says as soon as the guy next to you done paying, I'll get you guys. He then proceeded to make multiple drinks and take care of new guests while the person next to us had been done paying for over 5 minutes. He hands us his little micro toast and it is defaulted to 25% tip and the only other options were 22, 25, and 30%. I had to make a custom tip to bring it down to 20% in which he did not even deserve. The only reason I even tipped him was because I'm a 20 year restaurant employee who currently serves and manages locally. We left and went to another brew pub that was 10x more attentive and hospitable and had a great dinner and experience. Mediocre beer and horrendous service. read more

Went on a whim on a late Saturday afternoon -- love that this is so close to my house! I had the Oh Mama lager and it was delicious. Looking on their website I see that they've even created a beer specifically to honor a local high school! My husband had the cheesesteak and I had the spicy chicken sandwich. Both were great. Voodoo is such a fun environment, I went here for my 40th birthday this year because there are not many Breweries/Brew pubs that offer something for people that do not drink! Voodoo has an entire Mocktail menu as well as non alcoholic beers. They truly want to include everyone, and y'all... their food is amazing!!!! Bad seating. Back breaker chairs. Hard metal torture devices. Some chairs were child sized. Too small for adults. Walked in and was so uncomfortable we had to walk out.
