Interesting, great addition to Cumming, GA. Interesting story and origin. The tasting room is very clean and well organized.

We had our Rehearsal dinner at Legends distillery and we can't say enough great things. They did such a good job accommodating us and making sure we had the perfect night. Everyone had so much fun and the staff made sure everything went smoothly and were so easy to work with!! This place is incredible and such a great time! We can't wait to go back!!!

    A great choice as well.

Some of the best bourbon known to mankind. Great service. Great location to chill and enjoy your drink.

    Live music on Saturday's!

Excellent distillery in the heart of Cumming! Staff is great and drinks are great! Great atmosphere! Nice selection of games to have something else to do.

The sign above the toilet was funnier than half the comedians tonight.

As far as a distillery- it was decent. The 87 and 100 bourbon was tasty. The vodka had a serious scent of acetone- it was not drinkable. The other bourbons went down a bit hot for me but they were alright. The bourbon sour was tasty. There were no servers. The venue was good however we went there for comedy and the comedy talent was awful. The first two comedians were far better than the last two. It was a disappointment for a live show and I will not be back for comedy unless I lose a BET.

Awesome find locally. Very impressive and the 87 is very smooth and the Gin was surprisingly smooth!

The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and cozy, with plenty of seating for humans to settle in and enjoy a whiskey flight. The staff immediately made me feel welcome and even brought over a water bowl without being asked. As a professional lounge dog, I appreciated the hospitality. My humans enjoyed sampling several whiskeys while I worked hard supervising the tasting process from my blanket-covered seat at the bar. The tasting room has a comfortable, laid-back feel that makes it easy to spend an hour or two escaping the weather. The unexpected highlight? The gift shop sells a plush dog toy of one of their whiskey bottles. Naturally, my humans bought one for me, and it quickly became one of my favorite toys. If you're traveling with a dog and looking for a dog-friendly indoor activity in Chattanooga, this is an easy recommendation. Dogba's verdict: Great whiskey for the humans, water service for the dogs, and a souvenir toy worthy of bringing home.

Our company, of about 10 of us, did the tour and tasting and our tour guide Jake was fantastic. We enjoyed learning about the history of the company and his humor throughout the tour. Also, he answered any curveball questions we threw at him. The staff at the bar walked us through the flight and were able to educate us on all of their products. We will definitely be back and booking more tours in the future for our company.

This trip was actually our first time visiting without him so we were a little lost about what to do next. LOL. We had gone to a cafe earlier in the day but it was still too early for dinner so we kept searching for something interesting to do. That's when my husband found Distillery of Modern Art. I wasn't really in the mood for drinking during the day so I wasn't sure at first but I'm so glad we went! We had never heard of a combination of a distillery and an art gallery before which immediately caught our attention. It looked like the space is used for a variety of events as well. Since we visited during Mother's Day weekend, there was a flower arrangement workshop happening in one of the rooms when we arrived. The bar area was very spacious with plenty of seating and since it was our first visit, we decided to sit at the bar. The bartender was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain the different liquors they produce. My husband sampled their rye whiskey, gin, and Amaro Peach. I'm usually not much of a gin fan but theirs was exceptionally smooth and I actually enjoyed it. Amaro tends to be quite bitter but their Amaro Peach had a really nice balance of bitterness and sweetness. I ordered the Ocean Eyes cocktail which features their Amaro Peach and it was excellent. The bartender also made his own special version of a classic cocktail for my husband (I forgot the name!) and he really enjoyed it. What stood out most was how friendly and passionate the bartender was. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does and honestly, he made the experience even more enjoyable for us. We had such a great visit that my husband ended up bringing home bottles of their gin and Amaro Peach. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Atlanta!

The ube drink is excellent, not super sweet but you can taste the ube flavor and the end is a citrus note which is nice. The other 2 drinks we had were ordered off menu after we explained to the bartender some of taste preferences. The Singapore sling was excellent as well as the other one he made. You can tell that they really care about their craft and are wanting to experiment with different flavors! It was nice being able to sit at the bar and chat as well

The ambiance was airy and very chillaxing. I had one of the frozen non-alcoholic coffee slushies, which was the absolutely perfect small size, as I didn't get overwhelmed by brain freeze. I also tried the Drum cake, which supposedly is the customer favorite. Delish, and small enough to keep me guilt-free. I would have given 5 stars if they had greater selection of non-coffee drinks- come on guys... matcha is the rage now! Very comfy. I look forward to my next visit.

You can get a tasting or tasting pours if you want to try a few things. If you do, I recommend having at least two of their bourbons (Fiddler's Antique and Hunker), one rye (toasted for me), and one clear spirit (I prefer vodka; hubby, gin) if you can mix your liquor. Order at the beautiful back bar, then pick a seat, and they'll bring you your drink. I have a difficult time getting something other than an old-fashioned, but I also bought their espresso martini, and my hubby loves whatever mule they are making. Enjoy! If you prefer non-alcoholic, they will make you a mocktail. FYI- They have another store on the Westside Beltline.
