Overcooked falafel
Jennifer J.

If you're here for food, I'd only give it 3 stars. If you're here for drinks, I give it 5. So, 4 it is. The new Hefeweizen is FANTASTIC. It should be a regular. Blueberry Mint lemonade is DELICIOUS. Fun selection of beers. Great place to get a drink. Fun atmosphere. Even funner staff. The food: the pretzel was good. Crab Dip is good. The falafel was super dry and overcooked. Even the delicious sweet potato spread couldn't save it. Dry like a dessert. The chicken sandwich was a big letdown. If you promise me something, deliver. A few bites in, my husband was like, "The key lime aioli is what sold me, and I don't taste any." He opened up the sandwich, and there was a tiny dot of it. Kinda pathetic. Maybe we'll come back. I'll definitely try something different, though, if I do.

One of my good friends asked me to grab a beer with him at Jekyll Brewing. He has lived in this area for a while and never had an opportunity to visit until this day. The ambiance was pretty laid back and the staff was really friendly. It's nice to visit an establishment where the patrons are even laid back and willing to recommend their favorite adult beverages. They have plenty of room, games and space for large groups so don't be afraid to bring a bunch of people with you when you go. Now on to the beer... because I am limiting my sprit intake (as I get ready for my summer dad bod) I did partake in a "Flight" so I could try more than one beer without purchasing a 16oz... its a great option if you want to taste several flavors. I sampled the "Southern Juice," the "Cooter Brown," the "Long Time Coming," and my favorite "The Pineapple Habanero Hop Dang!" My buddy had the same (Great Minds Think Alike!) with the exception of him selecting "Blackberry Wheat" vice my " Cooter Brown. We had a great time and I told my buddy, this will be our first stop from now on before we head out for future endeavors. I highly recommend this place and if you stop by, tell'em Drew sent ya! I had a wonderful evening with friends, good food, and a very nice beer at Jekyll's brewing in Alpharetta, Georgia. The atmosphere was very light, with background music playing, although not overwhelming as the ceilings are so high. They have microbrew tanks right there in the midst of their crowd, and the bartender is very knowledgeable about what is being brewed at that particular time. There is a minimal choice of food, but all seems to be very delicious and presented very well. For the ladies, the bathrooms are very clean and spacious, and there are two separate bathrooms to accommodate the clientele. All in all this experience was wonderful, and we certainly plan to go back again. Our bartender/wait person was Thomas, and he was very nice. ENJOY!!

Good location in downtown Alpharetta. They have a ton of beers and I tried the hazy IPA to go with my smash burger. Overall it was a cool place and the people there were very helpful and cool. They have outdoor seating looking over downtown that was cool and inside seating if its a little too hot. I'll head back there next time I'm in town.

Has really grown into a fun and engaging stop along the Greenway, or if you just don't want to sit in the traffic that is just brutal on the major thoroughfares up in this part of town. A great array of brews. and a staff that is always friendly. There's no food but you can order from elsewhere and have it delivered to the brewery. Outdoor seating, board games and food-ball. We usually stop in during our bike rides through the Greenway - but worth a visit no matter what.

I got the Fur Die Feste (hefeweizen) and it was good! My friends got the HARDly Water seltzer and said it was pretty strong. I was disappointed in their outdoor seating, which is the reason for 4 stars. They have a couple high tops and some Adirondacks, but that's it. The parking lot is huge and I wish they would convert some of the parking lot into outdoor seating, especially in COVID times. We liked the beer though!

Our bartender was so friendly! I got the blackberry wheat beer and it was amazing. Cool vibes and awesome location in downtown Alpharetta. Rooftop is available too, but it was a little too cold the day we went. Definitely will be back!

Excellent brewery with a tasty habanero pineapple IPA. Liked it so much that I brought it home canned. We were nearly alone when we sampled our brews. Plenty of parking when you arrive. This place feels like it's part of an office park. Out front on the small green are a few weathers wooden lounge chairs and of course no real brewery is complete without a got stock of games including corn hole outside and inside a few fun electronic games such as air hockey. We didn't notice any food, which was fine. The glass our beer was served in was unique. We had just one memorable beer here and our tend was very efficient with the recommendation and letting us taste / sample a few before buying. Friendly service and excellent beer made for a fine afternoon.

Jekyll Brewing is right by our house. We always drive by and finally decided to visit on a Saturday afternoon. We frequent the location in downtown Alpharetta with is one of our faves - so we already knew we loved the beer. There were quite a few people, but plenty of space to get comfortable. There were tons of games to play (electronic, table, and board games) and I could totally see spending hours here meeting up with friends. It was quite nice to see so many people socializing together as it has been a such a long time since that was feasible. The vibe here was so cool. Super laid back which we love. The music was alternative rock when we were there. The man serving the beer was both friendly and helpful. We both opted for flights and really enjoyed sampling so many of the beers. All of the beers are awesome and you cannot really go wrong with anything you choose. There is honestly something for everyone (including so many sours which I adore). The only thing I wish were different would be the ability to order food. I saw some people purchasing nuts (or small trail mixes maybe) but otherwise there is nothing really to eat. Even so - we will absolutely be back (with snacks in the car)! Definitely stop by you will not regret it.

this is located up in Alpharetta. We happen upon this place when looking for breweries. It's more of a bar/brewery. it's got tables, outdoor seating and a bar seating area with TVs. there is street parking and I'm not sure if there's other parking but we parked on the street which was free. It's located in a nice area. There's tons of restaurants, places to walk around, ice cream stores, shopping etc around the area. The bar/restaurant/brewery itself has an outdoor area and fake grass for kids to play out in the front in. It's a beautiful place to go on nice days and I believe they have a rooftop bar too. We ended up sitting at the bar and the bartender was nice. It wasn't super busy but they were pretty rushed. food came out quick! We ended up getting some beers which were great. I got the Chicago style hotdogs, not exactly like Chicago though. We also got tacos which were good. Overall really cool place. Great area wonderful set up, great place for a quick date, friends, family, after work. They have TVs as well. Prices are decent. Will definitely be back here. Excellent spot for spring, summer and fall. Great place for winter too but you would have to stay inside and have a great outdoor options.

My first encounter with Jekyll Brewing was one evening having dinner at at a Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen restaurant in the Norcross/Duluth, GA area. They had the Hop Dang Diggity IPA on their beer menu - which I very much enjoyed! When I discovered the brewery name and location - I knew I had to visit the craft brewery in person and experience the other ale options! I visited late one weekday evening - a Wednesday evening. I had a couple of tasting flights - consisting of the following Ales (along with my ratings on Untappd): Hop Dang Diggity IPA (6.7% ABV) (4.25 stars on Untappd) Pineapple Habanero Hop Dang Diggity IPA (6.7% ABV) (3.75 stars on Untappd) Southern Juice IPA (6.0% ABV) (4 stars on Untappd) 4Hundy IPA (5.9% ABV) (4 stars on Untappd) Slow n' Low Smoked Porter (6.4% ABV) (3.5 stars on Untappd) Tart Vise Berliner Weisse (4.4% ABV) (3.5 stars on Untappd) Pony Ride Pale Ale (5.8% ABV) (4 stars on Untappd) Follow My Nose Pale Ale (6.2% ABV) (2.25 stars on Untappd) New Age Pale Ale (6.1% ABV) (2.25 stars on Untappd) I enjoyed 7 of the 9 ales I tasted. All of the IPAs were very good. The Follow My Nose Pale Ale comes off a little weird and funky from a flavor profile perspective - and not in a good way. The barkeeps tell me they added Fruit Loops cereal to the beer - it makes sense. The beer had this strange cereal-esque quality to it - with a hint of sweetness - that did not meld well with the ale. The two staffers on hand I interacted with were really nice. We had a fun conversation about sour ales. There is a ton of seating here as well. Tables and bar area! I highly recommend a visit or three to Jekyll Brewing! You will enjoy it! #JekyllBrewing

Jekyll is our favorite restaurant in downtown Alpharetta. They consistently have good food, good service and even better beer. Sometimes we wish it wasn't so good each time so we could start visiting more restaurants.

Hop-dang IPA...the only thing on tap worth drinking.

Visited Barleygarden 3 times now and I can conclude some pretty stark conclusions:…read more Beer is great! They have abuse and an awesome selection of beer. If this is all you will enjoy here - this is a 5-star establishment. Location in Avalon is another strong point of this establishment. Super convenient, although small. Food - is just not good. If you are drunk - then it is all right, otherwise it just doesn't cut it. I had hot dog - and I must say $1.50 Costco hot dog is way better. Wings - below average. Chicken tenders - the same. Fries are probably the best thing here. Service - just terrible. Outside of bartenders who are pretty happy and funny, the rest of service is hit or miss. First time I visited was awful. Second time around I had to walk up to server to place an order and ended up getting wrong beer multiple times on refills (how is getting the same refill a problem?). So 3-stars for this review is me being generous on account of great beer. I will however never order food here again.

They have an awesome rooftop porch area with plenty of seating and views of downtown Alpharetta, and the bar area is actually made out of an old metal airstream which is very cool and unique. The juice flight was SO refreshing and just what I needed. It includes all four juices - the mango tango, beet it, yin & yang, and the pineapple twist. The mango was probably my favorite, but they were all really fresh and tasty. There is a full menu, but it is mostly seafood. They do have some salads, snacks, and handhelds that don't consist of seafood if you are looking for something without shellfish. The menu has actually expanded a lot since they first opened which was nice to see!

Right in heart of Alpharetta . Nice indoor seating : they also have rooftop seating . Was cold today and we preferred indoor seating . The local brews were really good . Loved the hazy IPA that they gave . Cost was slightly higher than the breweries in New England and NJ . Service could have been better . Costed about 32 $ for 3 cups of beer . Slightly expensive IMO . No food since we dropped in after 9 pm. They could atleast have had simple food items / chips etc but they didn't sell anything .
