Located just off Mansell and next door to Sam's Club, parking was a breeze and the only issue we had was due to built up traffic from Sam's Club when we were leaving. There was plenty of space for the kiddos to have the time of their life with bowling, laser tag, and arcade games. There's an obstacle course as well but I did not see anyone on it. I liked that there were two huge separate spaces for bowling and the graphics for the kiddos bowling time was festive and they had bumpers and this cute little dinosaur assist that they could use to push the bowling ball down and they loved it. The arcade space was huge and there were a ton of options for all ages. Unfortunately a lot of the games were not working so we ended up playing a lot of the same game multiple times. For those who win enough "tickets" there's a huge "Winner's Circle" room to select the prize(s) of your choice. The kiddos also played laser tag and had a complete blast! There's a huge restaurant space and pizza spot inside but both were closed at the time. The bar area was nice and there were a good people hanging around there watching games. There a big open space for those celebrating birthdays but no private rooms that I could see so while there were several parties happening at the same time, there were moments of chaos between kids from different groups being in the same space and the tables for each groups being in pretty close proximity. The person who was assigned to our group did her best to manage our large party but she was handling everything (food, drinks, taking any additional orders) on her own. Instead of being able to enjoy what should have been the rewarding part of the experience, I left frustrated, embarrassed, and empty-handed. When I attempted to redeem my points, the manager, Grey, immediately made the process unnecessarily difficult. I was repeatedly questioned about how I accumulated so many points and where they came from. I completely understand verifying a large redemption, but there is a difference between reasonable verification and making a customer feel like they are automatically suspected of doing something wrong. What makes this even more frustrating is that the card history should show the activity. Games were played, cards were combined, and the points didn't simply appear out of nowhere. If there was a specific transaction or policy violation that made my points invalid, I would have appreciated being shown exactly what it was. Instead, I felt like the fact that I had a large number of points was being treated as suspicious by itself. The entire interaction made me feel targeted, profiled, and stereotyped. Two other team members actually tried to help me, and based on what they told me about how situations are normally handled, I felt even more uncomfortable with the way I was personally being treated. What bothers me most is the amount of TIME and MONEY that went into this. My friends and I spent an entire summer going to Main Event, paying to play games, earning points, and saving them with the expectation that those points could eventually be redeemed. I then took additional time out of my day to come specifically for the prize I had finally accumulated enough points to get. After spending my money, spending my time, answering unnecessary questions, and waiting around trying to get the situation resolved, I STILL wasn't properly serviced and left without the prize I came for. How is a customer supposed to feel confident spending money earning points if accumulating a large amount of them can suddenly become a problem when it's time to actually redeem them? I wasn't asking for anything for free. I wasn't asking them to give me points I didn't have. I was simply trying to redeem the balance already on my card. If there is a legitimate policy that prevented my redemption, then Main Event should be able to clearly identify that policy and explain what part of my card history violated it. I have already submitted a complaint about the situation and hope management takes the time to actually review the card history and what happened. An arcade is supposed to be somewhere you go to have fun. Nobody should spend their time and money there only to feel interrogated and singled out when they finally try to redeem what they've earned. This experience completely changed the way I look at this location.

They have a decent variety of pinball machines. They also have classic arcade games. They offer a variety of beers and snack which is nice. They also have lots of seating and stools. Stools are great because you can play while you sit which is great. Now for the bad. If you're looking for a classic arcade feel this is not the place. It's so quiet! Really all we heard was the ambient music (80s-90s hair bands which I love) but not why I'm here. Classic arcades are filled with the sounds of the games. Sadly there was little of that. Many of the video games had volume so low we couldn't hear them at all. The ones we could we had to strain to hear it. Also the upkeep of the games was not great. The terminator gun didn't work well at all, QBert was down, The Simpsons was down, dig dug was down. Star Wars was a 1-up system you can buy at Walmart and worn out, terrible experience. Many of the joy sticks were in need of maintenance as well. The Neo-Geo was not a MVS but rather a poor emulator that had color problems and terrible video tearing plus awful audio. Let's talk about the pinball machines. Most were modern machines that are still available for purchase. I saw a couple older ones but there was no information provided about the age. Overall this just okay. Many of the machines are not taken care of and this really ruins the experience for gamers.

A good, enjoyable experience…read more As most here have noted, it's a fairly large room in a strip joint; the glass walls are darkened so you can see the lights in the machines better, and it sets a fun atmosphere. $12 an hour, $25 for an all-day pass. I don't know if they have monthly or annual memberships. Great games. They have some really old pinball machines, like Creature from the Black Lagoon and Twilight Zone, and they have fun new ones with animated screens (King Kong and Jurassic Park). They also have skee ball and maybe fifteen old arcade games (Mortal Kombat, Mario, etc.). I'd say maybe 15% of the pinball machines don't work, for whatever reason, but I think they rotate them out. Staff was warm and helpful. I think they don't allow outside food and drink, but they sell Cokes and snacks. Other customers were pretty kind and respectful; you might have to wait for a machine while someone else plays it, but people were good about not hogging any one machine for long. All age groups were present, from 7 to 70. Would recommend. If you have the time, I'd suggest two hours; we did one hour and didn't get to do everything we wanted to.

Of the 5 visits this summer, 4 of them have required calling for support on the bumpers, most often resulting in having to change lanes, even after mentioning as we were booking a lane that we need one that has working bumpers. I get this - it's an older facility, and I've watched grown men hurl bowling balls at the bumpers for kicks and giggles, but the basic attitude of the workers here has been difficult. The actual techs try to keep things working, and when one is actually on staff while we are there they get things going pretty quickly. If one is not on staff, though, the majority of workers report they just started, and based on how often I see new faces there I don't think that's an excuse. For whatever reasons, this location struggles to retain staff. I get it: it's a bowling alley, but apparently whoever runs this bowling alley is not hiring and/or training adequately. We typically make an evening out of our visits with food and often games as well, which is why I'm a little surprised that no real effort is made to retain us as patrons. At this point, I might as well just drive to the closer Cherokee Lanes and save a few cents on gas for the same lack of quality. ______________ In the wee hours of the morning after I posted this review, a third-party, off-shore account "replied" to my review, leaving a broken link to something called momo. The name and picture match someone listed for Stars and Strikes on LinkedIn but had the boilerplate language of a copy and paste. Instead, Mountasia turned it into a complete disaster that left us stressed, embarrassed, and heartbroken. From the start, it was chaos. Imagine showing up with excited kids and family only to feel like you're the problem when you did everything right. The party room wasn't ready until an hour late, the food came out way behind schedule, and the cake -- the centerpiece of the whole celebration -- was delayed so long that some guests gave up and left before even seeing it. The children were restless, confused, and disappointed. There was no service whatsoever. We didn't get the water bottles we paid for, staff disappeared when we needed them most, and instead of enjoying the party, we were running around begging for help. I couldn't even focus on the kids. My heart sank when my nephew fell and started bleeding because I was busy chasing staff down instead of being there with him. That's the kind of day it was. To make matters worse, when the food finally came, staff acted like it was a burden to serve the chicken we had chosen. They literally said, "Most people just order pizza." If you can't serve what you advertise, then don't put it on the menu. We paid for it -- we deserved it without the attitude. Even something as small as buying a plush toy turned into a 30-minute wait at an empty register because, apparently, "they're short on staff." And the final blow? My sister called management afterwards, desperate for some kind of acknowledgment or apology. Instead, she was mocked.
