    Key West Chicken Salad

This was my first time here and from entering I was already expecting a pleasant dining experience. Our waitress Marilyn was pleasant and friendly. She always remembered our requests. I ordered chicken tenders and they were delicious. My daughter ate hers and mine too. The only suggestions would be to list the option of shrimp and chicken pasta and to let customers know that additional Alfredo sauce is at an extra price. Otherwise I'll visit again when I'm on this side of town.

Great food, very consistent. The servers are very quick and attentive. I haven't had anything here that wasn't good. It's a very cute key west vibe. Fantastic for lunch. The salads are delicious and huge. 10/10

I was visiting Burlington for a few days and the Village Grill was recommended. This is a relaxed Florida Keys vibe place with intimate lighting. Our server, Amanda, was the best. She made sure we got what we wanted and gave some great suggestions. The house salad was fresh and the honey vinaigrette was just the right amount of sweet, salty, and tangy. The shrimp and grits were delicious. The sausage and shrimp were cooked just right and the spiced oil brought everything together wonderfully.

Customer service was really good and the food was great too. I had the dirty martini and it was the best. I didn't post the picture forgot to.

This is at the brand newly opened location on church street, not the old one on Huffman mill. Waited a couple minutes to be seated. There was an employee there chit chatting with a customer while we waited. She then walked away and said someone would be with us shortly. The stand was unattended and we weren't even sure we were in the correct spot. The opposite lot was full so we parked on the south side and thankfully got it right. It would be helpful to mark the entrance in case we parked the opposite side. The turn in going south has one turn on the opposite end. Plenty of parking. The place looks brand new: nice decor. Server Chelsea was very nice and helpful. She got a chicken pasta Alfredo and I got a shrimp and crab cake sandwich. The pasta was way overdone and mushy. It was even very watery. The chicken was sweet. Sweet chicken and Alfredo was pretty terrible. They said all the chicken has the sweet marinade. They should have specified that on the menu because we would have never ordered sweet chicken especially not with Alfredo sauce. The dish in my opinion was pretty bad. I would give that a 1.5/5. Mine was decent. I liked the dill sauce. The bun was sweet and small for the patty but it was ok. The fries were over salted but they came out piping hot and fresh. Would I eat there again? Probably not. It's a small menu with a lot of chicken dishes. Their signature sweet chicken sauce was a turn off for both of us. It was reasonably priced and the server was nice. Overall I have to give the place a 3.5/5. The waiting when we went in and having ro listen to an employee chatting with her friend was off putting while we waited. Had she acknowledged and said someone was coming would have been fine but she completely ignored us until she finished her conversation before saying anything and that was a good 2-3 minutes. The food was a 2.5/5 and the service from Chelsea was excellent. I can't say the same for the lady that ignored us. I give it a 3/5 for that reason. Rounding it up to 4 only because it was so clean and Chelsea's attendance

Exciting new atmosphere with the same delicious menu, prices won't break the bank and the quantity of food gives you enough to enjoy another meal later

Crab cake, fresh sautéed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes

Another Great Meal at Village Tavern! Village Tavern is my favorite restaurant and I have reviewed it a number of times. I won't go into great detail today... I got my usual crab cake but switched up the sides. As sides, I ordered fresh sautéed spinach and garlic mashed potatoes. The spinach was delicious and I will definitely order it in future. The potatoes were not a favorite. They tasted like instant. The manager came out and stopped by each table. My husband asked if the potatoes were instant, and she said, "definitely not". She went on to tell him she'd take him to the kitchen to see, and they had someone constantly peeling potatoes. Regardless, they taste powdery. Our service was very good. The atmosphere is very nice. It's a great place to dine with family or friends.

My husband and I have dined here many times. The food is usually consistent. This is my go to place when I want cajun chicken pasta. The sauce differs from time to time but normally good. It took our server a while to get to our table after we were seated. Another server noticed that we had been sitting a while with no service. My husband ordered the shrimp stir fry. Wasn't your typical stir fry but he said it was good. He wanted to add chicken to it but was told he couldn't. The complimentary bread is usually warm and pretty good. The restaurant has an old feel to it. It's dimly lit. There is window seating.

My husband and I ordered in the restaurant, but they do have a digital drive thru for online pick up orders. We went a little after noon and the line was somewhat long, but the staff worked quickly to make their way through everyone's orders. I created my own Grains Bowl with half saffron basmati rice, half supergreens, traditional hummus, half grilled steak, half roasted vegetables, fiery broccoli, fire roasted corn, avocado, tomato & cucumber, Persian cucumber, shredded romaine, crumbled feta, and Greek vinaigrette (on the side). I also got a side of the hot harissa pita chips. It took maybe 15 minutes from when we entered Cava to when we sat down with our food. The food was fresh and blended well together. It was my first time trying the steak and it was absolutely delicious. I loved the pita chips too. I was a little hesitant that they would be too spicy, but they weren't at all. They were crunchy, warm, and with a hint of the harissa flavor - which was perfect to me. Pita chips feel like a must now with all Cava entrees. Restaurant was clean, bright, and buzzing with activity. The staff were friendly, but very concentrated on making sure everything was correct. The line to order was to the door when we ended up leaving. Parking is not an issue here because it's in a big shopping center. Cava is my go to place in Greensboro, so I'm excited it's closer to home now. Everyone should go show Cava some support and expect to be patient since the employees are brand new.

I liked seeing nutrition info per ingredient instead of a vague general range on the menu board. It's bright and clean, but it can get busy, and seating can be limited.

Locally owned -…read morewhich is always a plus in my book and the main reason I use yelp - so I support local businesses and not faceless corporations, but this is a spot I have frequented since my kids were little. They loved the train memorabilia and they ate things like tomato bisque (delicious!!) with a half a sweet lady (grilled turkey, cheese and apricot preserves) in the winter and a sweet lady and water melon in summer. They always have fruit on the menu as a side dish option, fresh if they can get it in season, canned if not. My kids were excited to pick one of the trains off the shelf by the front door to play with for a moment before their lunch arrived. Since the toys were a little sticky from years of play, it taught them to wash their hands before eating and to put borrowed toys away, neatly and I had a rule that they could pick a train to play with until their meals were ready and then they put the trains away and washed their hands and ate. On a recent visit, a very elderly man who moved very slowly left his cane at his table (closest to the pickup window) and came to claim the wrong order. The young man making sandwiches and assembling final orders politely asked him to double check his order number and got the order to the right customers. While the elderly gentleman made his way back to the table to check his order number, the kitchen staff member grabbed the right order, ran through the kitchen to the dining room, and met the man at his table with his correct order. The cook covered a good distance while the customer made it 6-8 feet. The elderly man was impressed with the service and happily sat down and ate his meal, rather than being embarrassed by forgetting his order number.

Even asked the register girl if she preferred we take it to go- she said it was fine to dine in. We sat down and as this mgr lady was putting other guests food in the window, she yelled to the cashier "if anyone else comes in tell them the kitchen is closed, should have been 20 mins ago"(which would have been an hour before closing time lol) and looked right at us. Super unprofessional comment- and icing on the cake... when our food was ready and my husband went to the counter to pick it up, the other lady in the kitchen said "I should have just packed that one to go". If you want to be done at 2:30- then don't have your business hours open till 3. Do yourself a favor and walk 20 feet down the sidewalk to Mikes Deli- same boards head meat and no one will talk shit about you in front of your face.
