After reading glowing reviews, I was expecting a lot from Mykonos. What I got was just okay. Upon walking in, the first thing I noticed was the menu, which were several pictures posted up with their respective prices. These were their lunch options, which are available from 11am-4pm. I didn't see a falafel sandwich, so I decided to ask for it. I like that I was able to get the sandwich as a plate and without tomatoes on that and the salad. Also, I was able to choose tzaiki or hummus for the sandwich, so I went with hummus. My total was $12, I paid, and I waited at my table for this deliciousness. What came was okay. The first thing I noticed was that the falafel was super dry and stiff. There wasnt much hummus in the sandwhich--however I powered through. I tried the salad next and again, it was okay. There wasn't a lot of flavor to the pink colored dressing that came on the side to accompany the mixed bag salad. To compare the actual food to the reviews was like night and day. It is fast food Greek food, but if you are looking for more, I would look elsewhere. I gave them three stars for the service and being able to customize your food. read more

Soooooooo. I really wanted some pasta, preferably spaghetti....... I ended up in Graham, NC at this Mykono Restaurant. When I walked in, it gave me fast food vibes with a hostess (honestly), anyhow, I wanted to place a take out order and was directed to the registers. I expressed that I wanted the spaghetti and meat sauce. She asked if I wanted anything else.... I then asked did it come with anything, and she said a roll. I was slightly confused, because it was dinner time and thought AT LEAST a salad would be included - NOPE. Her: You can add one though (side eye). Me: Drink? Her: You can add one. Me: Okay nevermind... that's it. Her: $11.37 (Please see portion in picture). So, yeah - no, ummmmm - I will not be ordering that again. It was okay. Maybe I should've tried something else. We were 3 hrs into our 5 hr roadtrip so we needed a late dinner. We love Greek food so finding Mykonos Grill was perfect. It was 9:15pm and they close at 10pm so we planned on making it a quick sit down meal. The host was super friendly greeting us and walking us to our table. Next our server, Lorna, got our drinks and took our order. We made small talk with her and then our meal arrived. DELICIOUS! Lorna came back to check on us and next thing you know, we chatted it up with her throughout our whole meal. We enjoyed our conversation with her so much. However, time passed so quickly that we didn't realize that the staff was waiting patiently in the background for us to leave so they could start cleaning! When we finally got up and moved toward the register at 10:20pm, we apologized profusely and they all were so nice and gracious. Customer service above and beyond! While in Graham, NC, I had a chance to visit this quaint restaurant for lunch. I ordered the combination platter, which included chicken souvlaki ...gyro meat and spanakapita. It also included a Greek salad, which was absolutely amazing! The restaurant was very clean and the staff was very friendly. The manager went around to each table, making sure that the customers were happy. He even got me a cup of water. The food was so good that I forgot to take pictures. I definitely recommend this restaurant for a good Greek meal. read more

Mykonos is right around the corner from my house, which has made it a convenient choice for takeout. I've ordered from them a handful of times and have always been happy with the freshness of the food and the ease of pickup. It seems like other reviewers have some issues with their order being incorrect, but I haven't run into that problem - even with larger orders, it's always been correct. You do have to call in your order (no online ordering) and walk inside to pickup, but the orders are ready quickly. I usually opt for the chicken souvlaki pita or the Mediterranean wrap with chicken. The flavors of the two are tasty and pretty similar, though the wrap includes their Greek dressing and is a tad less messy to eat. The chicken is juicy and well seasoned. Their Greek salad dressing is sweeter than I'd like, so I may opt for a different salad dressing in the future (they have a handful of choices). I've also tried their spanakopita, which I thought was pretty good; admittedly, I haven't had much spanakopita in my life to compare it to. Their baklava with the honey cinnamon sauce is phenomenal, in my opinion! read more

I LOVE a good gyro! We recently moved to NC and I have been on the hunt to find my new greek place, and the reviews for here got us excited. When you walk in there are multiple different registers, similar to how McDonalds used to be. While waiting in line, there was either a manager or owner walking around, asking if anyone needed anything and saying hi. You could tell he was genuinely interested in making sure everyone was happy. When we went to the register the staff member was super nice and friendly, and asked what I'd have. I'm happy I looked at the menu before hand, because I don't think there was a clear menu to look at unless they had them there and I missed it. I ordered a gyro with no tomato, and 1/2 greek salad and 1/2 fries. My husband just got a gyro with no onion. They give you a number and you pick your own seat. The restaurant was decently clean. We were served our food pretty quickly. The gyro meat was in odd uniform 1/2" thick chunks. Almost like it was frozen pre sliced meat. My husband called them "gyro meat logs". I'm used to the meat being in shavings and usually much thinner. The flavor wasn't all that great either. The different toppings on the pita were not mixed or anything, just layers, and it was hard to get all of the toppings in one bite. They do give you A LOT in the pita though. The tzatziki was our favorite part, and there was not enough of it. The fries were great, which I was not expecting. You could tell they use fresh oil. Unfortunately they were served on a styrofoam plate, with the 1/2 salad, and there wasn't much room to mix the dressing into the salad. The salad was topped with very roughly cut toppings, like a whole ring of green pepper and big chunks of onions. It made it really difficult to not make a mess. Based on our experience, this will NOT be our new gyro place, and I'm still on the hunt. read more

Let's start with their Gyros meat, it is stated on website as "roasted on their special rotisserie " when we received outs they look like little burnt hard gyros hotdogs. It had been cooked to death!!!!! Hardly any flavor and DRY. So disappointed. Now their restrooms, I have been in cleaner restrooms in a gas station! I've had Greek/Mediterranean style food in more upscale places, but even in comparison to other casual diners, I found this place lacking, I ordered take out. First the Greek Vegetarian Platter which I thought would be a good representation of Greek goodies. Before I could order the next item, I was interrupted. "Do you want the salad?" I was confused. She was wearing a mask so I asked her to repeat the question. Again with "Do you want the salad?" Why would I not want the salad? It's what I ordered and came with the platter. I said "YES I want the salad. As opposed to what?" She then explained that I could substitute fries. No thanks. Then again before I could order the next item..... "Do you want everything on the salad?" Why interrupt a customer with all this? Maybe if I didn't want an ingredient, just maybe I would let you know? Then do you want Greek dressing? Yes, I believe when I order a Greek salad, it's implied that I want the Greek Dressing. So on to the next item....a chicken souvlaki platter....with the salad, yes everything, yes Greek Dressing. Glad we got that over with. My take on the food: The vegetarian platter came with teaspoon sized servings of hummus and tzatziki. Okay, maybe it was a whole tablespoon. The Greek dressing was sort of sweet when I think it should be more savory, so maybe I did want ranch instead! LOL. The spanakopita was like a little hot pocket with hardly any spinach inside. No layers of filo. Would definitely not bother with the platter again. The chicken souvlaki was pretty good although I think it lacked some flavor. My final verdict. I would temper my expectations with the traditional food. I would like to try a bowl of Avgolemono soup. I imagine the burgers, fries, and gyros are good. I don't eat Gyro meat myself. I might give the Greek spaghetti a try, but overall was not impressed enough to go out of my way to eat here. read more

We came in just before closing and had a wonderful experience! First of all, the waiters were so kind and helpful as we quickly picked out what to eat! Our selections were delicious! I always enjoy the food and there is one waitress that is always a lot of fun. I bring friends often and we always hope she is there. The food is always good and their wings with lemon pepper and feta are great. My only warning is if you get a gift card be sure which of the two locations it is for. I found out to the tune of $61 that even though it is a Mykonos gift card it is location specific. Also the location is not printed on the card ir anything about this policy. Please don't waste your time or money at this place. we ordered a gyro and burger. the gyro came with old cubed meat, if you know anything about greek food or gyros this is not normal. The tomatoes that were in the gyro was disgusting, old recently unfrozen and inedible. The burger was not much better. the pasta salad was drenched in some sort of dressing and disgusting. I tried Mykonos Grill for the first time today with my neighbor who frequents this place for lunch. It was REALLY GOOD. There were other stand outs to mention besides the food... the place was busy but they delivered the food to our table very quickly. We were checked on a few times and my empty plate was taken as soon as I finished. I even got take out for my husband for dinner. The last mention is their ranch dressing.
