Simple food, served simply. This looks like it would fit in on Guys Diners, Drive ins and Dives. Don't let the Triple D look alike scare you. The servers work as a well oiled team and all were down home friendly. My cheese omelette and hash browns were perfection. The hash browns were crispy, just the way I like em. I was in Burlington and found this little place to get some breakfast. It's a simple diner setting, very homey place, almost like going to eat at grandma's house. The ladies working were very sweet, and took good care of us. The food was great, actually some of the best link sausage I've ever had. Don't be fooled by the somewhat dated appearance of the building, the food and service are better than at a lot of bigger, newer places. I was pleasantly surprised. This is a tiny tiny place but good! Don't judge by the outside appearance the food is good, really cheap, and the servers are so kind. Their eggs are cooked perfectly and hash browns are really good, perfectly cooked and crispy on the outside. Coffee was pretty weak and watery. We had some business in Burlington today, so we took the opportunity to grab a quick lunch at this tiny cafe/diner on S. Church Street nears Williams HS. Everything is small - the building, the seating area, and so is the parking area - I'd go around back, easier that way. These folks offer several plates for lunch - Roast Beef, Pork Chop, that sort of thing - and the usual variety of cafe sandwiches. The burger here is pure dinner style - meaning small, thin patty, but with very nice flavor. The cheeseburger I ordered came with FF ($3.15), and both were very good. The Hot Dog ($1.60) was ok, but the chili lacked any real zing - some salt and a dab of hot sauce helped. Their Chopped BBQ Sandwich ($2.55) was also typically diner style - commercial product (maybe Hursey's) with no smokiness, but decent flavor - works in a BBQ pinch. There is not a lot of meat on this sandwich, but it is cheap. A Cheesburger with FF, a Hot Dog, a BBQ Sandwich, and a 12 ounce Diet Pepsi came to $9.13 including tax - that's value. We go here right much ( well we use too) very disappointed in the management tonight. Me and my husband both got the hamburger steak with baked potatoes which we get most of the time and is usually very good. Tonight we took a bite of our baked potato and the butter must have been sour cause it tasted awful! We told the waitress when she came back that they were both bad and can we just get another one to go. ( we were done with the rest of our food by then ) We went to pay and they charged us almost $3 for the potato instead of replacing it. ( which really they owed us 2 ) I told my husband he should have told them to forget it. This is bad business practice. They should have replaced our sour potatoes. Quaint little place where everybody looks like they know what they are doing. I took my girlfriend out to Pano's for a late breakfast on Sunday and we were both very pleased. Just as described by others, this place is definitely on the small side and parking in back is way easier especially if you have a large vehicle. Once inside we seated ourselves and our pleasant server came by promptly for drink orders. The inside of the restaurant is arranged a lot like a Waffle House with a handful of booths and a bar and an open kitchen. I ordered the double hamburger and a hot dog with fries and my girlfriend had a waffle, hash browns, and whole wheat toast. We both ordered sweet tea with our meals which was good stuff and offered free refills unlike the soft drinks which are served in cans. They even gave my GF a sweet tea to go which is always a nice touch. While none of it was the most amazing thing ever, all of it was very very good. I hold the garden when I get a burger, but my GF remarked that she wanted a burger next time we visit after spying the fresh looking lettuce and tomatoes they use for sandwiches. The prices were extremely reasonable (brunch was $15 total for both of us) and the service was great. We definitely will be going back the next time we head that far into town. read more

My fiance and I decided to go here a few days after we moved to Burlington. We grew up in New Jersey so we love diners and this place seemed very similar to one. Unfortunately the food was not as good as what we had grown up on. Everything was very mundane and you could tell the corned beef hash was out of a can. What really turned me off was the fake butter. And not just a little fake butter but GLOBS of it. Put all over our toast and pancakes. I could feel my arteries clogging just looking at it. We haven't been back there since. read more
