Canned Diet Coke

I was in Burlington and found this little place to get some breakfast. It's a simple diner setting, very homey place, almost like going to eat at grandma's house. The ladies working were very sweet, and took good care of us. The food was great, actually some of the best link sausage I've ever had. Don't be fooled by the somewhat dated appearance of the building, the food and service are better than at a lot of bigger, newer places. I was pleasantly surprised. Definitely would go again.

This is a tiny tiny place but good! Don't judge by the outside appearance the food is good, really cheap, and the servers are so kind. Their eggs are cooked perfectly and hash browns are really good, perfectly cooked and crispy on the outside. Coffee was pretty weak and watery. French toast was good but just made with regular sliced white bread.

We had some business in Burlington today, so we took the opportunity to grab a quick lunch at this tiny cafe/diner on S. Church Street nears Williams HS. Everything is small - the building, the seating area, and so is the parking area - I'd go around back, easier that way. These folks offer several plates for lunch - Roast Beef, Pork Chop, that sort of thing - and the usual variety of cafe sandwiches. The burger here is pure dinner style - meaning small, thin patty, but with very nice flavor. The cheeseburger I ordered came with FF ($3.15), and both were very good. The Hot Dog ($1.60) was ok, but the chili lacked any real zing - some salt and a dab of hot sauce helped. Their Chopped BBQ Sandwich ($2.55) was also typically diner style - commercial product (maybe Hursey's) with no smokiness, but decent flavor - works in a BBQ pinch. There is not a lot of meat on this sandwich, but it is cheap. A Cheesburger with FF, a Hot Dog, a BBQ Sandwich, and a 12 ounce Diet Pepsi came to $9.13 including tax - that's value. Very friendly, attentive folks here.

Panos has always been one of Burlingtons best kept gems. Family owned and operated, always good friendly service and hot fresh food.

The staff were so friendly and the crepes were some of the best we've had. To top it off the coffee was delicious as well. The casual but polished ambiance fits perfectly into the charming, throwback small-town feel of downtown Graham.. which feels like something out of an earlier era with its historic courthouse, independent movie theater, and locally-owned boutiques and casual restaurants. The menu offers a wide variety of made-to-order savory and sweet crepes, as well as several toasts and waffle dishes. On my last visit to PRESS, I had the seasonal Blue Ridge crepe ($16.50), which was excellent -- a savory, blue-tinged shell filled with a great combination of sweet maple syrup-glazed ham and tangy granny smith apples and topped by a scrambled "hurricane-style" egg and a spicy maple mustard drizzle. YUM! The beverage menu at PRESS is equally impressive, featuring everything from made-to-order hot and cold coffees and tea-based beverages to a carefully curated cocktail list. I really enjoyed the soy maple pecan latte.

The burger was so good but it definitely was too big for me to finish. The tater tots were cooked perfectly also. The food was great and the service shines here. I can't remember my servers name but she told me that she does real estate on the side. She was excellent and kept checking in. I will definitely return. I would give this place six if I could.

I got to Danny's 9:09 and I didn't get my food until 9:34. I was 15 minutes late getting him his food on his 30 minute break. His over medium eggs were more like over easy, butter and egg juice leaked out of the container into the bag, the hash browns were put on foil in the to go container so you had to be careful not to eat any, and honestly a restaurant in my hometown is way better. I chose this place in hopes the food would be more fresh and hot when I got out to him because of the 30 minute drive from home to his work. Would have been better taking him cold food from a different restaurant. They don't care about their to go orders like they do if you are eating in the very very small restaurant. I'm not sure what the hype is about this place. I chose them due to the reviews on Google but it wasn't worth it. Price wasn't bad but the food and service wasn't worth it. If you are thinking to go, don't. Just go somewhere else. First impressions last a life time.

Right texture and good portion. Ribs are beautifully cooked to perfection. Season very well. Good smoke ring on meat. I paired it with the bbq sauce which was sweet and tangy. Very good ribs. The portion was perfect. Next time I will go with one meat Va two meats since the portions are generous. Hush puppies were pretty good. I like the fact they made a center indentation to make sure they are throughly cooked. The flavor was just right not overly cooked or salty. More of a sweet batter taste. The customer service was pretty good. Really fast service and they move that line pretty quickly. Over all it's a good choice for Carolina BBQ. I will definitely come again and try something new next time around.

I'll preface my review by saying I really tried to not compare this to other extremely prominent smokehouses in other states like Texas, for example (Terry Black's), but admittedly I did a little of that. So with that being said, on its own without comparison I give it a 5/5, when compared with TB's, 4/5. Let's dive in! The spot itself is super cool, I love the stacked wood at the counter. I also love how open it is, plenty of seating (including bar, especially nice if you're solo like I was), plus the self-serve nature of everything. There's a sauce (their homemade sauce is tasty!) and hand wash station, and boxes are readily available to grab. The market itself is worth the visit! Wonderful inventory and great prices, too! Ordering was easy (I'd pre-stalked the menu) and there are tons of options. I went with the 2 meats/2 sides option and got brisket, sausage, mac & cheese with bacon, and yams ($26 after tip). The meat was really the star of the show, that brisket is so tender and melts in your mouth...yum. The sausage had great flavor, though I do want to try their occasional jalapeno & cheddar version. The sides were a bit lackluster for me. The M&C definitely needed some creaminess, and the yams while good didn't blow me away. The hush puppies were really dry, for me at least. The staff were nice and efficient, and multiple asked me if I needed anything as they walked around. All in all, a wonderful experience and I'll definitely be back! Can't wait to try brunch!
