Back to Rodys after golf . I got the Boneless wings and fries . Delish! They have really good food and attentive wait staff .

First time at Rody's! I came with my wife to enjoy some local music. I was told I had to order the Red Goat Chicken Sandwich. I'm glad I did because it was delicious! The flavors were tasty and delicious. It went perfectly with a side of tots. The bar menu was pretty typical for a "sports bar". I ordered a key lime pie cocktail. It was pretty good but not amazing. Overall I definitely enjoy Rodys.

First time trying this place, and I was impressed! There was a wait to be seated, which is usually a good sign. The food was a fantastic price, and the food was good! I got a BLT, which came with a side. The service was great and there was live music as well. This restaurant was hopping, and I will be back! My husband was very happy with his order as well.

A go-to spot. Cant believe this is my first time reviewing! If you're looking for a laid back spot to eat, drink, watch sports, and socialize with friends, Rody's is perfect. The pastrami sandwich is stacked, juicy, and hits that perfect salty-smoke note. The taco salad is bigger than it looks, loaded with fresh toppings, and fun to dig into! Wash it down with a cold beer and you're golden. The service was friendly and fast as usual. The vibe is louder and lively in the way you'd expect from a neighborhood-type sports bar. Solid food and great drinks!

First time trying Rody's Tavern and I must say that I was definitely satisfied. I was not expecting this burger to be as big as it was for a smash burger. It was juicy and delicious. It was a tad bit salty, but still very delicious. The fries were also delicious as well. I like my fries a little bit floppy and these were just that. This place what's hopping for it to be around lunchtime. I look forward to coming back and trying something different.

If you haven't been to Rody's Tavern, I highly recommend a visit! Don't let the "tavern" portion of the name divert your enthusiasm. This local sports bar serves up some scrumptious eats! The service was quick and friendly - and the food was surprisingly delicious! I ordered the Red Goat Chicken sandwich and it was lovely. The chicken was grilled and seasoned perfectly, the creamy goat cheese offset the sweet/spicy pepper jelly too. I would definitely order this again! Oh yeah...and I got toys that did not disappoint!

A good night out with the guys. Wait staff pleasant and efficient. Standard tavern food items, nothing that stands out as unique. I got 2 items Tomato Bisque (so glad I got it flavorful and nice texture that has some grit to it. So stimulating). Also got the standard no frills cheeseburger. Filling as had plenty of beef patty (thick). Good enough taste but not a burger to crave. Not juicy or overly flavorful therefore giving it and therefore the place 3 stars as good but not great. Fun energizing environment good for beer specials, events around TV's and live music.

Haven't been in a while. Have always been less than impressed. Due to location, it worked out to eat here. Was definitely more impressed with service and food. Ambience is still a little loud for my taste for as early as we were there. I get it later with live music, but this was 5pm and we couldn't talk across the table. Will still return for a meal/drink when hanging out (not catching up) is the objective.

Great little spot! Went for lunch on a Saturday. They were very busy but able to accommodate the crowd. Our waitress was attentive and efficient. She brought out refills as needed. The food came out quickly and was correct. I got the red goat chicken sandwich with tots. It was very good. The chicken was cooked perfectly and not dry! The hot pepper jelly made the sandwich. There was a bit too much goat cheese for my taste but that's me and it was still good. The tots were hot and crispy like they should be! All other dishes at the table looked great! Overall a great lunch!

Rody's isn't near my usual stomping grounds so I've never had a chance to go before this. Greensboro has a lack of decent sports bars so when we found ourselves with a free evening in this part of town, and a lot of games to watch, we were happy to head to Rody's. As a sports bar it didn't disappoint. We were able to get a seat at the bar so didn't have to wait despite the crowd and there seemed to be a lot of regulars which normally indicates a quality place. They had a ton of TV's showing every possible game or event on at the time and there seemed to be enough that you would be able to catch that game you were looking for. They had a nice beer selection and the bar drinks were good, if a little basic (which I think fits the setting so it's not a deal breaker). Our food was typically bar food but was quite good and came out shockingly quickly which was nice because we were pretty hungry. I don't know if I'll make my way this far north of town to visit but if I find myself in the area again, I won't be opposed to returning.

Services was good atmosphere was pretty good especially if you are looking to check out a game. Food can out fast so great to go grab lunch. I had the Reuben sandwich. It was really good. The bread was toasted perfectly. How sometimes you get your sandwich with the Reuben is soggy on the bottom usually as soon as I get my sandwich and flip it over to keep it from getting even more soggy is the little things, but the bread was nice on me The corn beef had great flavor. Had the tater tots with it nice and crispy on the outside wheel season

I got the double smash patty burger Carolina style (slaw, chili, mustard, onion). Super messy but oh so good! Others in my group got a create your own with pulled pork and slaw and another person got the catfish special with mac and cheese. We also had the loaded tots and southern egg rolls as an appetizer. The food was exceptional except for one thing. Although the catfish crust was amazing and perfect texture, the catfish itself was really watery inside the breading. Other than that, it was all great! The loaded tots were also great. Forgot to take a pic BEFORE we started digging in but you can see the gist in the photo. They're so good! The southwestern egg rolls, although fantastic, are not like they are at most places. They have pulled pork and veggies with them and comes with a Thai chili sauce on the side. Well this last visit I ordered the hot honey chicken sandwich again, (because it was so good the first time!), I don't know if they changed the chicken they use or what but the chicken had a snappy texture that no properly cooked chicken should ever have. I was immediately turned off and could not eat it. I'm hoping it was a one off experience and that next time will be better. All this said, we will be back again and hope for the best!

I'll admit, I was curious to see what this location looked like since I was only privy of the Winston-Salem location, which I've only been inside once for a discreet dinner date with a doctor, years ago. Our waitress, Amy, took extra care of us and was always attentive whenever we wanted beverage refills or to simply make minor changes or order additional condiments to go with our meals! I opted for the brand new crispy chicken sandwich, which was massive! The sandwich combines two huge chicken breasts that they split into half, just so you can fit it into your mouth! I enjoyed the sandwich so much. I ordered another to take home in a to go container, which Amy was more than happy to provide for me at the end of our dining experience. Between the craft cocktails and arcade games, it's a fun place to spend an evening. The cocktails are great and well crafted. They run about $15, every drink I've tried has been enjoyable, but the House Cosmo has become my go-to, the martini list is a favorite of mine. We ordered drinks and an appetizer and they came out fairly quickly. The Korean BBQ Spring Rolls are very good! Now for the not so good part. We ordered the fish and chips to split- that was all we ordered after the appetizer and it took forever for our order to be brought to the table. We watched a couple tables around us, get their food before us, and they had been seated after us.. The server had to go back and check on our dish a couple times before it finally came out. I will say the fish and the chips were fabulous, but the corn was terrible and should probably not even be included on the dish. It was WAY overcooked and chewy. The coleslaw left quite a bit to be desired as well. No seasoning, no flavor and was just bland. When it says wasabi coleslaw, I am thinking it is going to have a little bit of a kick to it but nothing. They could definitely save themselves some money by eliminating the corn from this dish, make the coleslaw an option as an up charge and could lower the price on the dish in general or add a third piece of fish instead of the corn and coleslaw. Overall, it's definitely the best fish and chips we've had since moving to the area, but I would order it with no corn or coleslaw next time.

We started out with cocktails. I had a Hendricks dry martini straight up (it was delicious) and my wife had a Don't Call Me Sweetie which is mix of Hendrick's Gin, Lemon, Cucumber, Basil, Simple, Saline 15. It is very citrus heavy, so be advised. She had them cut it with a bit of cranberry to offset the citrus. For main courses, my wife had the grilled salmon and she chose sautéed garlic spinach and wasabi slaw as her sides. I ordered the shrimp and grits and my side was blackened green beans. Let's talk main course first. My wife's salmon was terrific. Flaky and moist and very tasty. My shrimp and grits was unique because it was a real balance between large pieces of shrimp and the grits. Many times you'll order this dish and end up with a pile of grits with some shrimp sprinkled on top. This version is very tasty and a really nice balance of flavors. The Cajun seasonings have it some kick, but it did not overpower. The side dishes are where we had a couple of surprises. First off the sautéed spinach was really delicious, but my wife's wasabi slaw was bland. It's a huge shocker because when you see the word wasabi, you expected to have some Asian kick to it. This did not. It was hard to even identify that it had wasabi in it. That was a disappointment. The surprise was the blackened green beans. They actually were one of the stars of the show. Their flavor and texture was just awesome. We could've ordered a huge bowl of it and eaten all of it. While it didn't need it, there was a dipping aïoli on the side, just in case we wanted to add that to the green bean experience. As I mentioned off the start, Fishbones is a very casual experience. It's very pub-like in that way. We really loved it and the wait staff, which is a team approach as anyone who passes you makes sure you're doing OK, were kind, upbeat and helpful. Even with the bland slaw, we can't lower our rating because overall the experience was terrific. We will definitely come back.
