While scrolling Facebook, I saw a their ad for 25 wings for $25. I was at a church event and decided to get some wings for dinner for my boys and I. I placed order online at 8:17pm. I got lemon pepper and garlic parm. I wish I could pick more flavors but it only allowed me to pick 2. I also got garlic parm fries that was $5. After placing tbe order, it said it would ready in 62 minutes... WOW! If I had known that, I wouldn't have placed the order, honestly. The event was ending and I was 15 minutes away from the location. I arrived around 8:45pm. It was a little confusing at first once I arrived. It is located inside a city kitchen. Inside, there is a kiosk where you must check in to let restaurant know you're there. They have all the various establishments listed. You can also order on the kiosk if you haven't already. There were about 3 parties already there waiting. There are limited seating inside. At 8:55pm, a lady said that some orders were coming in 8 minutes. My name wasn't on that list, unfortunately. She had previously brought out orders for other people. If ordering online, I feel like they need to make it so people can see how long the wait is for food PRIOR to ordering. Since I had already paid online, I had no choice but to wait and my taste buds were for the food I ordered. Plus, I was very hungry and getting hangry while waiting. At , 9:16pm, I asked for an update for my food. I was told they were working on it and it would be a couple more minutes. I FINALLY got my order at 9:23pm. I then had to drive 15 minutes home. I did eat a couple fries on the way home because I was so hungry. They were decent. They did have a crunch to them though. The wings were dissatisfying, honesty. For me, this was not worth the wait. My wings weren't crispy at all and were dark in hue. I did enjoy the lemon pepper wings more than the garlic Parmesan. The lemon pepper had more crisp but didn't have sufficient seasoning, for me. The garlic Parm flavor wasn't bold and didn't pop or stand out as it should. I love garlic and these two flavors (garlic Parm and lemon pepper) are my go to flavors for wings. I really had high hopes and expectations, especially from all the positive reviews and pictures that I saw but they just didn't meet that this time. I've had way better wings. They were hot but I'm unsure if they were fresh. The size of the wings were a plus! I was on the phone with a friend eating and discussing my experience/dissatisfaction and they suggested that it may have just been an off night because they were busy... My take on that is perfection and always getting it right is not possible. However, I would rather have waited 10-15 minutes longer to get food that was up to their standards and not rushed, than to have waited a long time for a subpar product. For me, what makes it worse is that I've been craving wings! I'm being mindful on my calorie and food intake, so me using a "cheat day" to get what I want and be dissatisfied, is so saddening. I don't know if I'll be giving them another shot. First impressions are everything. read more

First time trying this place. The set up is a little unconventional but listen to me..... The best wings I've tasted in these streets and the flavor and temperature lasted the 22 minute car ride home. I only stopped eating because I was full. The sweet potato fries even made a great first impression once they home as well. You have to place your order online. Inside this ghost kitchen (The City Kitch) is Big Daddys Wings and things. Very flavorful and filling. The Bab-bam shrimp were very good. The shrimp was cooked perfectly crunchy, and the sauce was a perfect addition to the shrimp. The fries were also cooked to perfection; crispy and delicious. The combination of both was a fantastic meal all to themselves. I personally prefer bone-in wings, as boneless ones usually have too much breading. These ones were fantastic! The wings were pretty large and filling. The Buffalo ones were perfection by themselves. Not too hot or spicy, nor dripping in sauce. A nice spicy kick of flavor on the meaty wings. The garlic parmesan wings were good and meaty, although not my favorite, as I couldn't distinguish the flavors in the sauce. The sauce on my particular wings I felt was a little too saucy and needed more parmesan flavor or more distinguishment. Overall, the food is delicious and flavorful. It's definitely worth trying if you like wings. Because it is a ghost kitchen, you order online or through a food app. The directions are a little tricky. Be warned, there is not a place to sit down and eat your food, this is a carry out only spot. You can place your order online and the confirmation email will give you an estimated time on when your food will be ready. They were very busy so my wait time ended up being 15 minutes longer then quoted but the wings were fresh. I order sweet chili wings and hot garlic Parmesan wings. The owners were very sweet as I typed in the instructions I wanted 8 plain wings and it was missed. They caught the instructions after they made the order and placed 4 extra plain wings in the order; they were for my child so I was appreciative. Coming in second place were the hot garlic Parmesan wings. The wings were very tender and I need more sauce, wish I could've ordered extra! The sweet chili wings came in first place. They had the perfect amount of sauce on them and were very tender. Overall I would give them another shot but ask for extra sauce. Also, it would helpful if the number used for the business actually worked, I could've talked to them about the 8 plain wings that I needed ahead of the order being done. First off, this restaurant is inside of the City Kitchen building, and is not a stand alone restaurant. It took me a minute to figure that out. The food was excellent, I ordered straight from their Instagram website and my food was done exactly when they said it would be. Their Carolina Gold sauce is some of the best that I have had and their Garlic Parmesan fries and miles ahead of any other garlic Parmesan fries I've had. My kids and I have gotten wings here a few times, and they've always been top notch. Very meaty wings and really good sauces. Sorry, no pictures, but we all know what saucy wings look like, and their website has pictures. The workers have always been friendly. There's not much interaction because you order online and they bring the food to the window when it's ready. If you like wings, you really should try these. I'm always in the search for the next best wing. After discovering Big Daddy's on social media, I moved them up to the top of my list. Wings and fries.. say no more. This visit I ordered a trio of "flavas" -- lemon pepper dry rub, garlic parmesan and blazin sweet chili, as well as an order of loaded fries. I'm a sucker for a dry rub so Lemon pepper was definitely on my list. I like a nice balance of tart and salty, the rub was just perfectly in the middle. It can't get any better than a crisp wing and a tasty rub. Eager to try Cajun and the dry ranch next visit. Garlic parmesan came in third for me. This isn't usually my go-to flavor profile but I wanted to go outside my comfort zone. It's a beautiful sight-- something about the golden skin and yellowish sauce with bits of garlic every square millimeter. Again, not my choice of flavor but it's still very solid. Then my favorite, the one that stole the show-- Blazin sweet chili! This can easily be summed up as a sticky, icky flavor bomb. Perfect balance between sweet and spicy. Every future order will contain these, no question about it. The Bam Bam Shrimp fries were on point. Fries smothered with tempura fried shrimp, all covered in luscious "boom boom" sauce. Possibly the best sauce known to man. Not too sweet, not too spicy. My only wish is there was a common area to eat, as this food isn't really meant to travel far or wait to be eaten. There are few things in life that make you stop to enjoy it's beautiful majesty. A beautiful sunset.. The first time on a beach.. and of course, the perfect chicken wing! They serve happiness on a plate here. First of all, the flavors are fantastic. They must have a wizard in the kitchen with the magic they cook up in their sauces. My favorites are the southern gold, sweet teriyaki, lemon pepper, and that bam bam sauce over the shrimp fries. Portion sizes are great, and the option to get boneless is very helpful when you have picky toddlers who love their nuggets. Best chicken wings in Greensboro, hands down. I consider myself a "Foody" or "Food Connoisseur" if you will and I must say they have the best wings I've had since moving to the South. I've had wings from several restaurants and carry outs here and Big Daddy's by far is it for me when it comes to chicken!!! I'd definitely recommend them. The only issue was finding the place because your GPS will tell you that you've arrived but you haven't. You literally have to search for the place once you are in the area so many more signage on the backside of the facility would be great. read more

I couldn't leave a voicemail bc it wasn't set up on the phone. That rubbed me the wrong way as after I messaged them they updated their instagram which means SOMEONE was there to see my message. The best wings I've ever had! This place is take out only. Our order was messed up but they were quick to fix the issue and accommodate. They have shelves labeled in alphabetical order where your bag may be already available for pickup. There's an iPad check in for pick up if not and public bathrooms to use. read more

Checked in but still waited for over 20 minutes for my food. We tried to flag somebody down but got completely ignored. By the time somebody did walk by to help us, our food was sitting just on the other side of the window the whole time.
