Paid $52 for this. Cold. Called and was hung up on. We all work hard for the money we have we I just wanted a nice meal after a hard day.

Portions, professionalism (names being said) she hung up on me off the bat so no accountability and warmth.

The food is pretty consistent here! Always flavorful but sometimes lacks with the portion sizes. My go-to is the brisket cowbell with extra peppers and onions plus I add bacon. Yeah, pork on pork deliciousness! Sides of green beans with bacon and potato salad. Listen, that potato salad is the truth in my books! The most consistent thing I've had besides their bomb ass pickles! You can buy them by the pint and gallon ~ Do it, if you love pickles! Service is always on point! The ambience of opening the doors and smelling "smoke" and meats and what a BBQ spot SHOULD smell like, WELCOME TO GREENSBORO! We haven't even talked about the sauces or that mix of sweet tea and lemonade! Get alllll of that!! The vinegar based and the mustard based. I get one of each and 2 of a mix of vinegar and mustard. If the meat wasn't tender enough already , these 2 sauces make the meat melt! I'm always here! Inside. Never in the drive thru. Download the app if you visit frequently .

Meat was good. Collards too. The Mac and cheese was dry. The potato salad is good. But the price around 26 is not with it. Little pricy for what you get. By the way this only came with 2 sides so Mac and cheese and corn bread pd extra for collards and potato salad. So spent about $35

This wasn't it by any means. I really don't eat bbq often but had a quick craving and was on the Battleground side of town so decided to go to City BBQ since it's been a while. Regretted it. Went at a still solid hour 730ish and they were out of Mac and cheese...one of the main sides we wanted. Opted for the potato salad which was the best thing of the entire meal. Hush puppies were dry and small, one more minute and probably burnt. The worst thing was the brisket and the bbq pork. The brisket....looked so, so odd and tasted very bad. Was not appetizing one bit. The pork was the smallest portion and dry itself. The most bothersome thing was the price - ridiculous. Would not recommend.

The food was delicious, fresh the variety was good, and it was authentic southern flavor. The service was good, the gentleman at the counter was helpful and nice. The location itself is great and very enjoyable to be at. The restaurant was clean, interior was very neat, and there was a good variety of seating.

    Sampler!

I was craving ribs so I turned to Yelp to help me find the right spot. I had passed this spot many times but just didn't have it on my mind to try. We got the sampler platter to split between two people because of the price and we knew we wanted to try several things. This wound up being a better deal for us as you need to purchase any sides separately. We chose the fries and the okra and I must say I enjoyed the fresh cut fries and perfectly fried okra as much as we did the meats!!! I especially loved the ribs. They were tender and meaty without a lot of fat. The flavor was perfectly smoked and the sauce was light with a slight char. I also really enjoyed the brisket. The BBQ and chicken weren't anything super special but it was delicious. We mentioned going back again! There was so much food we took some home which is a statement!!

Professional and prompt service with a perfectly casual barbecue atmosphere. Many sauces for the finicky and my sandwich was stacked with very flavorful barbecue. My only complaint was with the hush puppies. I'm sorry to say mine were overcooked and not very tasty. Next time I'll choose a different side and hopefully upgrade my experience to 5 stars.

Great BBQ at a fair price. Its not the fanciest BBQ place, but it's also a step up from wax paper and white bread. A nice casual place with the best BBQ I've had outside of Lockwood Texas. We ordered 2 city platters for 3 of us and had some leftovers. The brisket was awesome. BBQ Pork was delicious and tangy. Sausage was great. The sides were also very good, especially the collard greens, hush puppies and fried okra. Ok, it was all great!!! The only request is to please upgrade the beer menu. Would be nice to have some local beers on the list. Highly recommended!

I stopped in here for curbside service. It was super quick. Much faster than planned! I ordered off the kid's menu which ended up being the perfect portion for me. However, I would have been more comfortable with it costing $1-$2 less. The pork was good but less flavorful than I prefer. The hush puppies left much to be desired. They were gooey inside instead of being fluffy which I prefer. The tea is sweet and tastes good.

I've been to Cooper's Hawk locations in Virginia, Illinois, Florida, and Texas. This one was the best of them. The wine list is vast, and the menu was everything I remembered. I had the Tempranillo red with the meatball appetizer, and a chicken Caesar for my entree. Every plate came out right. Nothing was off. But the food isn't what I'll remember. The service was. Kalynn and Iva behind the bar, Richie in the kitchen, Vinh out in the shop.... each one was sharp, warm, and genuinely dialed in to the experience. That combination is rarer than it should be, and this crew had it working together. A note for Cooper's Hawk Corp: You're opening in Cary this fall. When you walk in its almost breath taking because whoever put this business together paid attention to the small details. Music playing was not loud, it was very low but just where you can hear it and enjoy the conversation of a friend. The bisque was absolutely one of my favorites. I really enjoyed the flavors a definitely must try and will be ordering again upon returning. Being it was lunch time the appetizer menu was the go to and it was also a great choice because I got full pretty quickly. The food presentation was wonderful. The egg rolls came with 3 dipping sauces...I did not care for the cashew one due to it had a sweet taste. The italian sausage flatbed remind me of a pizza and it looked really good. I did not try it, but my friend said it was amazing. This was a great experience and will definitely be returning to explore the menu a little further. Thanks again Brooke you was truly amazing!

We were placed in the worst seats right by the check-in area, while those tables were greeted, given menus, and served immediately. We hadn't even been acknowledged properly. The flavor however was phenomenal and I would still recommend them! For the main, I got the Bites and Pints Melt with a side of bacon cheese fries. The melt was cooked perfectly and loved the addition of the special sauce on top. The burger to Texas toast ratio was spot on as well. 10/10 would get again. I decided to stop by Bites & Pints Gastropub on Spring Garden St. in Greensboro. As always, I was greeted as soon as I walked in, handed a menu, and asked what I'd like to drink. That goes a long way with me because a lot of places around here will have you standing there for 2-5 minutes before asking if you're drinking or eating. Sometimes I wonder if that's a rhetorical question, but that's neither here nor there. Anywhoo--I grabbed my usual seat at the bar and asked for a water and a pineapple cider. It came in a can, but they always served it with a cold glass, which was a nice touch. Unfortunately, they no longer carry it (and I forgot the brand name--sorry ), so I figured I'd switch to a Blue Moon. Another blow... they don't carry Blue Moon anymore either. CURSES!! The manager explained they stopped carrying it because it wasn't selling well, so I settled for my trusty Stella Artois and took a look at the menu. To my surprise, they'd updated it! They kept a lot of the favorites while adding some new items. I started with the Firecracker Shrimp, and it was a great choice. The presentation was on point, and although I'm not the biggest fan of Sriracha, it worked really well here. The crispy shrimp paired perfectly with the slaw and spring mix underneath. For my entrée, I went with the Steel City Philly Cheesesteak with fries, and all I can say is... that was a good sammich. My only critique is the bread. I'm a stickler for toasted bread, especially on a sandwich loaded with grilled peppers, mayo, and, let's be honest, a little grease. The top bun was just a tad too toasted, while the bottom bun softened up pretty quickly. Even so, the sandwich was flavorful enough that I didn't mind too much. Unfortunately, I filled up faster than expected, but everything I ate was definitely worth it. The service matched the quality of the food. I was checked on regularly without feeling hovered over, and I had great rapport with my server. It was refreshing to be somewhere that actually gives a damn and makes you feel like you're getting your money's worth. This is one of those gastropubs that's comfortable, low-key, and just an all-around vibe. Highly recommend checking this place out, and when you do, ask for Ethan--tell him Mya the photographer sent you! Welp, that's all I got, folks. Hope you enjoyed the review.
