I was actually surprised about how good the customer service was. The cashier was extremely nice. He asked if it was our first time here, walked us through the menu, and even gave us a couple samples of the wing flavors before we committed to one. The environment was beyond my expectations for the typical in-grocer restaurant. It was big, bright, well decorated, and super clean. You would never guess you were in a grocery store if you didn't have to walk through it to get inside. Because it was slow the cashier brought our food to us instead of making us get up to get it. He brought out the parmesan fries first. They were so delicious and probably some of the crispiest fries I've had. The honey garlic drumsticks were also amazing and somehow even more crispy than the fries. Definitely one of my favorite Korean fried chicken spots. read more

I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed chicken bee! It's like a hidden gem inside the international grocery store. It was really clean inside & the employee who took our order was really nice. He let us try the soy garlic and honey garlic flavors - we decided on the honey garlic drumsticks. We also got the Parmesan fries. Everything was so delicious! The drumsticks were so crispy and had such a nice flavor. The fries were also really crispy and well salted. The chicken and fries were both crispier than similar chains I've tried and there's more flavors to choose from. The food is made to order and it tastes really fresh. We ended up waiting about 15 minutes & it was worth it. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a new chicken spot! read more

Chicken Bee delivered! Tucked away in the International grocery mart off Market St. We tried the soy garlic wings, bulgogi, and mozzarella sticks. The wings were VERY crispy in a good way and they're HUGE. Very similar to Bonchon wings. The bulgogi had that great sweet and savory flavor - tough to stop eating! The real hit was the mozzarella sticks. Hard to tell from the picture but they are massive and tasty! Also loved the craft bottle of water they give for the table. Next time I want to try the Korean hot dogs! Wish I could have tried one of everything! The service was quick and friendly, the vibe is super casual and laid back. Will definitely be back to try more! read more

The cashier is 1000% knowledgeable and helpful. She gave me some recommendations that were perfect for what we were looking for. Love the Korean style chicken. Definitely worth the trip if you are in Greensboro. Located inside Super G Mart on W. Market. read more

It's a small, local place. No fancy thang, straight up an enclosed place to eat. Also they close at 8:30pm which I think is too early. The food is made fresh!!! I should tell you though, if you order take out order ahead of time because it takes a while for the food to come out. The fried chicken is delish. Sometimes a little too sweet for my liking but we like it!! Bibimbap was great too! Added bonus is that they use Halal chicken!! Would come back again for a takeout!!! read more

Been eyeballing this place, and finally got a chance to stop in. I tried the dark side combo that included a chicken drum and two thighs, one side and a drink. I meant to replace my fries for rice and add the radish, but somehow still ended with fries a well. Couldn't complain because they were so fresh and crispy. The chicken was super juicy and crispy! I got the spicy garlic flavor on the chicken, which I didn't regret! Perfect crisp in each bite. Lots of great Korean dishes on the menu to choose from. Service was attentive! It does take a minute to get your order out, but all chicken is fried fresh. Smaller size resturant, but ating is available for small groups; door dash or call ahead is avaible as well. Restrooms are only available in the back of the grocery store, not inside the resturant. read more

The navigation was a little confusing because it doesn't tell you this restaurant is inside of the grocery store. However, the restaurant itself is clean, the safe is helpful, and more importantly the food was amazing to me. I'm big on textures and flavors. This chicken had both. I try a new restaurant weekly. Their lunch menu is different, so I didnt get to try the box. I'll definitely return for more. read more

Chicken Bee - Honey and spicy wings with white rice - Japanese Near Me - Greensboro, North Carolina

Parking in this shopping center on the weekend can be hectic, but once you find a spot...the restaurant is located inside the Super G market. I was a little confused at first as to where it was located. When you walk into the market, take the right entrance. If you go left, you will have to snake through the market (not far) to get to the restaurant. The restaurant is small but there is plenty of room to sit. You order at the counter and if you dine in, they give you a buzzer. In hindsight, I wish I used that time to walk the market, because it took almost 30 mins to get our food. I ordered the bone in wings (6) with pickled radish (half spicy/half soy) and my daughter got the boneless spicy wings (6) with white rice. We asked for water and we were provided a white jug with two small cups. The chicken was nice a crispy and flavorful. The spicy was not too spicy, but had a nice kick. I really enjoyed the soy wings. The pickled radish was tasty and was a nice balance with the spicy wings. The food is a five star, but the longer wait and having to walk almost a mile to the restroom brought my review down a star. read more

I tried Chicken Bee's lunch special, half spicy/half honey, and their original gimbap. The gimbap was especially tasty, and my favorite part of the meal. The fried chicken was also incredible. The honey sauce is the perfect amount of sweet, and the spicy sauce was the perfect amount of spice. The pickled radish that came with the gimbap was very fresh and tasty as well. Located inside of Super G Mart, the inside of this restaurant is actually surprisingly larger than I thought it was every time I've seen it while shopping, and it's very nice inside. I'll definitely come and eat again. My pictures this time aren't very nice, as I was too excited to start eating. read more

Ambiance, umm it taste good , so I feel good!! This is Korean fried chicken. You need to go get some! They also have this shaved ice with strawberries or mango. It's so good!! This place was pretty damn good! I should've had the fried chicken, but I ended up getting bibimbap, which was fresh and delicious! Also served with miso soup! I got tofu, with wasabi cucumber sauce and teriyaki. My friend got a seafood pancake that was also scrumptious! She brought me here because she absolutely loves this place. We waited for our food for quite a bit, but it was well worth it. The staff was really nice and was definitely some authentic stuff. You can sit down or take out, but sitting down and eating your takeout food will be an extra $2 fee per person. Cute little place though! They place Korean music videos and Korean music. Loved it ! Can't wait to come back and try the fried chicken. Prices are reasonable. read more

I was happy to see a Chicken Bee in the Greensboro area, located right inside of the famous G-Mart! To be honest, parking can be quite a challenge but it's worth the search for a spot. The prices were fair and the quality was there. It takes a little bit of time for the chicken wings to come out and worth the wait for fresh food. I was a bit disappointed that the wings came out a little cold, especially when there weren't many people dining. On another note, my corndog never came out so I had to go ask for it. Other than that, quality Korean Fried Chicken! read more

Chicken Bee is located inside Super G Mart and it's literally on the right side when you first walk in. This is my 2nd time eating here and it's a solid 4 stars. Their chicken is made to order, so you might have to wait 15-25 mins depending how busy they are. My partner and I dined in for lunch when they first opened, and I like how you can mix flavors of your chicken wings and I got half honey garlic and half soy garlic. The chicken wings were pretty good! It was def crispy, chicken was moist, and the sauce was delicious. Aside from the crispy batter and the sauce holding everything together, I wish they would season the chicken itself for more flavor, but that's only my slight complaint. read more

Delicious food!! Crispy chicken even whilst dunked on sauce. Friendly service and super clean restaurant. This place is indeed the Super G Mart, a lil unusual but that shouldn't deter you. Eat here. Get take out. Either way it's gonna be good. Cole slaw was a perfect compliment to my spicy sauce. Fries were battered, not my fav, but still yummy. For the win, they have Coke zero. My dining partner enjoyed her ramen but would have enjoyed protein or vegges as well. Plain was still good. I'll definitely be back. read more

Spicy Garlic Korean Fried Chicken. Winner!!! It was crispy, crunchy, fresh, hot and full of flavor. The dumplings were good too. Prices are steep for the small quantity of food, but at least they deliver on the quality. Bingsu is a new dessert for us, having it only one other time at Bom Bom in the same shopping center. We tried the mango and at first the shaved ice was so cold it hurt to eat. But once you mix in the mangos, sweetened condensed milk and ice cream with the light, powdery ice and Frosted Flakes... this thing becomes an amazingly fun and delicious dessert for two or more to share. The Frosted Flakes are the surprise star of this dish. At $13 it's not cheap, but it's fun and unique and serves more than one. read more

The food is AMAZING!!! The restaurant is located inside of the G Mart. Smaller than I expected but so good! The wait staff was accommodating and patient with us as it was our first time. Very sweet (I don't remember our servers name but she was super sweet). They were pretty busy during our visit with a couple of larger parties so service was kind of slow, but the staff was apologetic and constantly checked on our table. Did I say the food was amazing?! Had chicken wings and Cole slaw. Also had the zucchini sticks. Very well cooked, great temperature, amazing flavor. Will definitely be returning again!! I gave 4 stars because of the wait time but again, the staff was accommodating and gracious. read more

New Korean Fried chicken restaurant inside Super G mart. My least favorite compared to Scratch and BonChon. Walked in to an empty restaurant. While at the counter, the cashier said I could sit at the table and order. I thought that was cool, however while I was waiting, I observed at least 2 other patrons order at the counter. I ordered the Quarter Dark meal with Spicy Garlic sauce. The chicken was fried well. Not bloody and crunchy. Juicy and hot/fresh out of the grease. The sauce was tasty and mild. Not spicy at all. Disappointed that they will combine sauces for the wings but not the whole pieces of chicken. My order came with 1 decent size drumstick, 1 full size thigh, half of a thigh (that's why the menu says 2 thigh pieces) , fries, a drink, and I chose rice as my one side. The other options are pickled radish or coleslaw. Upon entry, very cool modern casual decor. I like that they are up to date with ordering from the table with the QRC code. However, someone still has to come to the table for you to pay. Also, This establishment should provide wet wipes for your fingers (it is a fried chicken restaurant) or a hand washing station. The only restroom is in the very back of the grocery store, I think. read more

Ordered this via Grub Hub. We had drums, fried rice, parm fries and tenders. The food was really good and surprisingly crispy, considering it was delivered and had time to sit. What impressed me most was that the restaurant called to clarify some things on my order because the GH menu options were not clear. They obviously care about getting it right! I'm definitely ordering from here again. read more

If you ever find yourself in Super G, I think this place is a must! The few times we've been there, it was packed!!! Luckily, the one time we were there, wasn't. The food was incredible. I'm a huge fan of Asian food and this place is definitely up there! They have so much to try from and the portions were huge. I can't wait to go back and try their other menu items. We had to try one of their desserts, and they were delicious, too. We had an astonishing experience here. The decor of the restaurant is pretty nice and the employees were friendly and kind. They had a lot of my favorite Kpop songs playing in the background! So that made the experience even better lol. 10/10 I love it!!! read more

So I came to this place to compare it to bonchon Korean fried chicken and it was alright I felt like the chicken was super crunchy but the soy garlic flavor could have been put more on to the chicken. It's almost like they put a light coating of it on there I guess next time I'll have to ask for extra sauce so that I can taste the flavor because the wings just tasted like regular Chinese chicken wings to me. Also they don't have fries for like a combo side you have to buy those separate for like $6 which is expensive for a side of fries. The place was really clean and staff was super nice read more

The crispy and crunches chicken I've every had, great crunch and very flavorful with thick breading. I ordered a 10 piece with coleslaw. It took about 20 minutes for the food to come out, I would recommend better pricing 10 piece combo for 22 dollars not worth it, I'm a portion man I usually eat 20 wings or so. A chicken back is not a thigh. No wonder this place was empty at lunchtime. Served me a plate of fried bones.

Chicken bee absolutely crushes it! A couple friends of mine went to Korea and they were saying how Korean fried chicken is so much better than American fried chicken. A day later I got some video in my YouTube feed about a Korean fried chicken place in Greensboro (chicken bee) so I had to check out. I don't know if this is exactly what it's like in Korea or not but either way it's the best! The crunch on each bite is so much different than typical fried chicken. I got mine with spicy garlic sauce. The fries and coleslaw were also really good. Highly highly recommended checking this place out! read more

Chicken Bee has the BEST Korean fried chicken, if the the best fried chicken, in the Triad. Their chicken is incredibly juicy, and their batter is crispy and perfectly fried. Their flavors include honey garlic, soy garlic, spicy garlic, creamy onion, and scallion top. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting their honey garlic chicken. Also, they have AUTHENTIC KOREAN BINGSOO. Their bingsoo is comprised of frozen milk and various toppings, such as chocolate, mango, and strawberry. I got their classic red bean bing soo and thought that it was worth it. I'll definitely be back again soon. The only downside is the time that it takes for the food to come out. I waited 40 minutes after ordering for my food to arrive to the table. If they can work on decreasing this wait time, this restaurant has an extremely bright future ahead. WORTH IT? YES ABSOLUTELY! They have authentic Korean fried chicken and bingsoo! 3 days ago on December 15th I want to take my girl out and she says, I know a place inside G market have pretty good wing. So we went to Chicken Bee. We order half order of the wing and one corn dog so it was $25.17 after tax. I tip them $3 so total $28.17. 3 days later, the bill show up on my bank I was charge twice, one $28.17 and second time $60.82. they over charge me as a reward point. Which I never know when I purchase the wings. they try to steal my money and now I'm afraid they might steal my credit information too because I only swipe once not twice. This tiny place is tucked into Super G Mart; specializing in Korean fried chicken (KFC). Those familiar will know the crunchy crispy pancake batter with a sweet / savory sticky glaze and the juicy moist tender chicken underneath. Chicken Bee delivers just that. We got a sweet honey flavored one and a spicy one. It was cooked to perfection, so juicy and savory. I enjoyed it more than Bon Chon. They even had bing soo - a Korean dessert with delicate shaved snow ice topped with strawberry, icecream, and condensed milk. The only negative was that it was not gluten allergen friendly as gochujang is made with wheat. But still a hidden find with wonderful flavors! read more

This is the absolute best friend chicken you can get. I am willing to fight anyone who argues with me. I first fell in love with the Chicken Bee in Durham. I've never had more crispy chicken. Sit back and wait a real 20-30 minutes for your meal. Then fasten your safety belt for a trip to flavor town. You will not be disappointed! The trajectory of your life could change after your meal. Food was good but every lunch out of 4 was messed up including missing the sides smh next time I'll unpack my large order before leaving

If you're going to have the name of a food in the name of your restaurant, that better be the food to order. Chicken Bee DEFINITELY delivers on the chicken. I drove 30 minutes out with a couple buddies to hit up Chicken Bee and do some light shopping at Super G Mart. My parents had suggested I go visit to try their famous dessert, Bingsoo. At around 4pm, it was pretty empty and quiet, but it has a nice atmosphere. The wait was a bit longer than I expected, about 20 minutes, but it was worth it. This is some of the best chicken in North Carolina! The breading is the star of the show here. Super crispy and crunchy, and piping hot. You'll be hearing an audible crunch on every bite of chicken. I got a boneless half/half sweet and spicy combo, and the medium size comes with 10 boneless pieces of chicken. I was afraid that 10 pieces wasn't going to be enough, but each piece is HUGE for a "boneless wing". I only ended up eating half of my chicken to save room for the Bingsoo. I ordered the Mango Bingsoo, and for the price, I felt the taste was a little disappointing. It's covered in mango chunks, but also has this artificial mango syrup drizzled all over it that I did not care for. Apparently, I also ate it wrong (according to my parents)! Next time I go, I'll have to try mixing up all of the shaved ice with the other ingredients for a better experience, and to try the Oreo one too. I'd definitely give it a shot if you're looking for a unique desert, and/or have people to share it with, because it's MASSIVE. Will definitely be coming back here next time I go to Greensboro! read more

Great k-chicken and sides! Everything is made to order, so you get your chicken hot, crispy and fresh. Honey garlic chicken and original were delicious. The kimchee fried rice is on point.
