The food came quickly, again I was there fairly early. The stew was served with banchan (Korean side dishes) and rice. The banchan consisted of broccoli, bean sprouts, kimchi, cucumber kimchi, tofu skins, and marinated potatoes. They all have very different flavors and each of them go well as a side dish with the stew and rice. I prefer kimchi on the spicier side but again that is my personal preference. The kimchi stew came out sizzling and smelled wonderful. I tried all the side dishes while it cooled down a bit. Once I was able to dig in it was packed full of flavor didn't need anything added. I would say it was more mild than spicy but I have a higher spice tolerance than most. It is served at 18 Malaysia in Winston, where it is shown on the menu as Malaysia Curry Noodle Soup, and I have eaten this dish at this restaurant quite a few times.
