    Hibachi Shrimp with extra shrimp
    Ashlee J.

This spot is strictly carry out right now. Some of the best hibachi in my area. I would call ahead to order if ordering in the evening as your wait could be over 20 minutes. Pick up is easy. This is some of the best hibachi in my area and the food is always good. You get an egg roll with each hibachi plate. The egg roll is really good but regrettably not very big. The vegetables are very fresh (zucchini, carrots, onions & broccoli)! You can order only broccoli as the vegetable side as well if you're not into the other veggies. You get two whites sauces per hibachi plate, it's 50 cents per additional sauce. We always end up getting extra shrimp with the hibachi shrimp because although the shrimp are a great size, it only comes with 4 pieces. For each hibachi plate, you can add more meat for $3 extra. This is a one of my family's go to restaurants!

Why have I been in Greensboro all these years and never had there hibachi. Wow, first let me say 5 stars for the well seasoned food it was sooooooo good and you get a all of this food for under ($12 per plate) you even get an egg roll that comes with it. Fast service? ABSOLUTELY Clean business? YESSS! Placed an order and my food was ready in less than 15 minutes. So good! Must try. Not a restaurant but great for a quick takeout meal.

The lunch special had a very good and affordable price compared to other hibachi places (cheap!!!! ) . The quality of the chicken was great- (flavorful) , and the veggies and rice were very fresh. It was a lot of food for a good price. The only thing was that they charged per white sauce, which was not convenient and more pricey than it should be. Other than that, totally recommend ,

Hibachi express is awesome! I love their chicken. Their shrimp is the best. Their rice is fresh and not dry.

Every single time I've gone, the food has been fresh, flavorful, and consistent. They seriously never miss. Their AYCE is also one of the best because the quality still stays high, which is rare for all-you-can-eat sushi places. The fish to rice ratio is perfect, the rolls are always good, and there are so many options to choose from. The service is always great too. The staff is really attentive, friendly, and the food comes out pretty fast. The ambiance is also really nice, clean, modern, and chill without feeling too loud or chaotic. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Greensboro for sushi.

Went for lunch about 12:15, yes it was busy, understandable. The hostess was rude as F...., she advised it was a 15-20 minute wait, then walked away before we could say we would wait for a table. As we stood there for about 15 minutes, we asked did she put us on wait list, she answered with a dry reply..yes We waited patiently as she kept walking by us, without acknowledging us, with a "it won't be long" sorry for the wait... Once again, I know it was lunch rush, but, still offer good customer service. I will miss the food but I will not be returning to Muzumi. This visit was the last, as they do not show they value their customers!!

Our server was super fast & brought out some ice cream when we told her it was one of our birthdays. The inside is really spacious and modern. Unfortunately the food was what let me down which is the most important part. Full disclosure though - I'm not the biggest fan of Japanese bbq because Its very meat centered & I don't eat a lot of meat so I will say this review is just for the appetizers. The person I went with had the Japanese bbq and while it wasn't the best they've had, they did enjoy it. Even though I'm not the biggest fan of Japanese bbq, I really enjoy Asian food so I was excited to try other things on the menu. I ordered the pork gyoza and the cheese Rangoon. Pork gyoza is one of my favorite appetizers to get at Asian restaurants but these were just lacking flavor. They were really crispy but other than that, they were pretty bland. The cheese Rangoon was also really crispy which I love, but needed salt & other flavor. I was going to order the edamame too but after trying the other 2 appetizers, I wasn't feeling hopeful so I didn't. I would go back if someone wanted to but it's not a place I'd go out of my way to go to. They did have a pretty extensive menu so if I go back, I'll try a few other things.

To top it off, the place has a great atmosphere. I can see this becoming a "spot" for sure. The miso soup, gyoza, and cheese rangoons are fantastic starters. The gyoza was pan-seared for that perfect crunch and made with plenty of filling. The crab Rangoons were crispy, golden, and packed with creamy flavor. The sushi? Solid. The tuna nigiri was fantastic and practically melted in my mouth. I'd say the shrimp nigiri was good too. Both had great rice with the perfect texture. Also the hibachi fried rice is excellent, though I preferred beef over chicken with it. The highlights of the night were the specialty rolls. The Snow White sushi roll is satisfying with a lot of flavor in one bite. The Tiger roll was also stacked and made beautifully. A final mention is the fried calamari, that was an amazing pair to everything! I'll be back, that's for sure.

No. Seriously. 5 adults and 2 high chairs. I was hoping to slip in with a group and have fun. This seating is depressing. Oh let me not forget I waited 10 minutes at least to be seated. That wasn't so bad as I figured u had to wait on an odd numbered party to show up. I shoulda just waited into 4pm when the spot I really wanted to visit opened up. Our drinks & app service was decent. Never got our severs names but my Coke Zero was refilled without asking. Listening to the family at the table beside us chat and eat has been enjoyable while we sit here looking crazy. I've been here many times throughout the years. This has been the shortest wait to be seated. The longest wait to eat. And the most fumbled I've seen. Like who turns the table off? Loads of people in here. Plenty of people in the lobby waiting. But almost an hour between my arrival and the chef isn't even cooking? Nah. I'm good on Kabuto. Update! My medium ribeye was over cooked. I had medium. The people beside me ordered medium well. We are not together. This is why I don't order the filet because more often than not the steak gets overcooked. I typically order medium because I know the carry over will make it medium well. If you have a large group 6-10 then yes. Give this a whirl at least once. Solo dining night? Meh. Totally kid friendly too. I wanted to give this 4 stars but overcooked steak and the extra long wait took the fun out of it for me.

The rice will be fried, the meats will be cooked, and in the end, I will smother everything in enough of a mayonnaise-based white sauce that the finer variations from one hibachi place to the next don't really matter. What I do care about is the service and the entertainment. If someone is cooking in front of me, I expect them to be on their a-game. And, on my recent visit for dinner, our chef absolutely was. Though it was around 4:30 pm, so pretty early for dinner (and with smaller, quieter crowds), our chef pulled out all the tricks and was funny and engaging. Sometimes you get the sense that a chef hates his job and is just going through the motions, making you feel guilty for wanting to see an onion volcano -- that was not the case here. He was a total pro. Our waiter was also great, and struck the perfect balance between attentiveness and giving me space to enjoy my food and conversation. My drink stayed full and I never had to wait for something I needed, but I also didn't have to pause my conversation to speak to the waiter every 30 seconds, between mouthfuls of food. Like the chef, he was a total pro. I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 only because my dessert bananas at the end were cold and not even caramelized, which was super disappointing. I think the chef was in a rush to get out of there, because our table took longer than the average for him to cook the food... a couple people we were seated with kept throwing food back on the grill (ew) and asking him to cook it longer. And I mean every single food they got, not just a steak. So, his timing might have been off in terms of getting to his next table, and ultimately it came at the price of cooking the final item correctly or really at all.

I was excited to see that their dinner entrees came with the usual soup, salad, veggies, and rice but also noodles. Who could be mad about noodles? I went for the Hibachi Chicken and Shrimp for $28. We went near closing time so got a whole table to ourselves. Our waitress was very attentive and quickly brought our drinks and appetizers. I selected the ginger dressing for my salad. One of my favorite things about these places are all the sauces. I happily replied yes to all of the options. I like to mix the hot sauce in the white. Cuts the sweetness a little bit. I also don't know what they do special to make hot mustard but it's better than any I have bought in a grocery store. And I have tried! Despite a small audience, our chef was lively and gave us a good show. Strong kudos on his onion volcano! Quite a big flame. He noticed my husband's Washington Commanders hoodie and they had a nice conversation about football. He was very personable. The entree portions were huge and very flavorful. We each got a big helping of fried rice and noddles to start. Next was the vegetables (onions, zucchini, carrots) and my shrimp that also came with broccoli. Finally the chicken. Everything was delicious and I had plenty of leftovers to enjoy for future meals. I think we may have found our new teppanyaki place!

Disappointing to say the least because I've heard great things and expected better since in the short period of time we were there, so many people came in to pickup takeout orders.
