Just an odd place...our experience was disappointing but I should have expected that from seeing reviews and how empty the place was. My food was not as it was described on the menu. When I got it the "manager" told me that they made a change and the item was no longer on bread. But you didn't think to tell me that ahead of time? Service was also very slow and the "manager" told us that she's never been a server before and that wasn't her job. The only food we enjoyed were the southwest egg rolls.. This place just opened but it already feels like somewhere Gordon Ramsay would visit on a kitchen nightmares type show. The menu seems to have the stuff from Rock n Brews while also transitioning to a Mediterranean style restaurant but is confused by itself. Our steak tacos had meat that couldn't be chewed. The rice was mushy and wet and flavorless. The kebabs were good but expensive and not as good as the ones at Off the Boat that are $10 less. Our server was inattentive and didn't understand how to take an order, didn't know items on their own menu, and didn't check in on us at all. I had to find her to pay my bill. They didn't have the ingredients for the drink my wife ordered. Employees were hitting the hookah. Chairs were strewn about the patio and junk was stacked everywhere. It made me nervous about whether or not the kitchen was clean. I love a great middle eastern or Mediterranean restaurant. I've spent time in Turkey, Greece, Jordan, Israel, and Palestine. Tried Villa Haven in Tustin for Mother's Day and we were so impressed! The space is vibrant and welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious. We started with the calamari (perfectly crisp with chipotle sauce) and the eggplant dip (nutty, creamy, and served with crispy pita). For mains: the lamb was tender, savory, and flavorful, the BBQ chicken salad was hearty topped with a generous amount of crispy onions, and the shrimp tacos were really good and came with an amazing side of beans. Don't skip dessert--the Om Ali (a Mediterranean bread pudding) was warm, authentic, and unforgettable. They even gave my mom and wife a flower each for Mother's Day--such a sweet touch! They're new and still ramping up for their grand opening, but if this visit is any indication, Villa Haven is going to be a neighborhood favorite. We came in for happy hour. We ordered drinks which were tasty. We ordered happy hour food : sliders and chicken shawarma sliders, and a chicken quesadilla. The beef sliders were tasty but overcooked. The chicken shawarma sliders were cold. Neither one came out with the fries as stated on the menu.The quesadilla was decent. By the time the bartender came back to check on us we were nearly done and I sent back my uneaten chicken shawarma sliders. We decided to order a second round of drinks and it was 16 minutes from order to receiving them. There were only 6 other people sitting at the bar. We decided to ask about the missing fries which were promptly brought out but they were room temperature, cooked a while ago and unseasoned We wondered why it was so quiet... unfortunately some attention needs to be paid to the food quality and the service. read more

Villa Haven is a great place to watch the NFL games. They have a great happy hour. My favorite drink is the strawberry basil margarita and the Mediterranean margarita I sat at the bar at first the bartenders were great . Then went outside on the patio our server Elijah was amazing We had such a great time. I also like how the manager comes to all the tables and make sure that everything is going good that we're enjoying our experience and I got to try their hookah outside in the patio, which was so fun. Was craving Mediterranean food and found this place near my house and I was very impressed with the food quality I had the Mix Grill with rice and mashed potatoes and got a side of their creamy macaroni and cheese . Everything was absolutely delicious their cooks are doing an amazing job with the meats all high quality. Came here for a company Christmas party on 12/07/25. Service was good. Food was great. The bartender (straight black hair, dark purple lipstick) should think of switching career paths? She was the most unpleasant, irritable bartender I've ever come across. Tried to give it the benefit of a doubt thinking maybe its one of those days but no matter how much my colleagues and I try to be patient with her, she just ended up rushing us. When one had asked info about a drink she literally gave a shrug plus a one word answer. I came back to get another drink and unfortunately had her serve me again (the other two bartenders were not available), and I asked for their selection of tequila and all she did was POINT to the bottles on display. No words, just finger pointing at the tequila bottles. It ruined the mood and vibe ONLY for a little bit because as soon as we got back to the party, we all just shared the same grievances about said bartender, then moved on.
