I found this place one day when I took a different walking route to my office one morning. I've added it to my lunch rotations now. I've been there twice since and tried the classic banh mi (deli cold cuts) and the beef pho. Both were good and decently priced for the location. The inside is nice, clean and bright. They have an ordering kiosk or you can order from the staff. I recommend preordering online if you're going around lunch as they get busy. Everything is most mostly self service once you get your food. I recommended the place to my coworker. This person is Caucasian and asked two questions. What kind of people went there and are the people behind the counter white? Vietlicious was made fresh, with wonderful portions, and was the first place I've truly ENJOYED eating at in Seattle. My beau was also happy to find the Vietnamese Iced Coffee he's grown fond of finding all throughout Silicon Valley. Parking was tough, since its located just right below the hospital, but if the thought of possibly getting ticketed or towed doesn't scare you, then there are lots of places right on the street. I came right around the lunch rush, but they were beyond quick at getting every order out. Taking the time to update my previous review since the owner called me a liar or "truth twister". The owners response to my review doesn't make sense. Why would the worker remake my sandwich when I asked if the one she brought me was a new sandwich? As soon as I pointed out that the sandwich she brought me was the same one the homeless woman had touched just minutes before, she said she'd make me a new one. Why would she make me a new one if the one she brought wasn't the same sandwich? I haven't filed a complaint to the health department or anything - but if the owner is in denial and unable to correct the practices of the business, maybe it's best I do report it. The purpose of my review is to provide valuable feedback to the business so they can make improvements and remind their workers of basic health code laws. Value is why I knock this rating to a 4/5, you're paying a bit of a banh mi premium at this location. I paid more for extra meat, but the quantity of extra is questionable. Stopped in on a recommendation from a coworker, and was pleasantly surprised. The interior is similar to the former business with updated menu screens and more staff working behind the counter. My vermicelli noodle dish (bun) was prepared fresh, and after the discount came to $8 and change. They also have banh mi, spring and egg rolls, and smoothies/bubble tea. By the end of it, even though my husband and I each got one, we wanted more -- and not because they don't provide enough sustenance, but because they were just so good.
