I was not expecting the banh mi to taste so good! I work nearby and wanted to pick up something for lunch, so I placed a takeout order shortly after they opened around 10:00. Figured I could save the banh mi for later and it would still taste fresh. It took a few minutes for them to complete my order, after my arrival, so I didn't have enough interaction to comment on the customer service. But the inside of the restaurant seemed like a quaint and cozy space to wait. They have a kiosk you can order from in person, too. They didn't ask for my name or anything when I told them that I have a pick up order but thankfully, they handed me the correct banh mi ( a grilled pork with no cucumbers ). I was not able to enjoy the banh mi until a few hours later, but I was impressed with the quality! Tasted authentic and exactly what I expected for a vietnamese banh mi. The bread was not too crunchy so it was easy to bite into, but it was just crispy enough to add some texture. Portions were satisfactory and the entire banh mi was filling. It costs a little more than some banh mi I've had but I get it, Seattle isn't cheap. The price is actually fair compared to other food in Seattle. Reminds me of the banh mi I've enjoyed from Duc Huong in Sacramento, I would love to try the other banh mi options here sometime again when I get the chance! read more

I found this place one day when I took a different walking route to my office one morning. I've added it to my lunch rotations now. I've been there twice since and tried the classic banh mi (deli cold cuts) and the beef pho. Both were good and decently priced for the location. The inside is nice, clean and bright. They have an ordering kiosk or you can order from the staff. I recommend preordering online if you're going around lunch as they get busy. Taking the time to update my previous review since the owner called me a liar or "truth twister". The owners response to my review doesn't make sense. Why would the worker remake my sandwich when I asked if the one she brought me was a new sandwich? As soon as I pointed out that the sandwich she brought me was the same one the homeless woman had touched just minutes before, she said she'd make me a new one. Why would she make me a new one if the one she brought wasn't the same sandwich? I haven't filed a complaint to the health department or anything - but if the owner is in denial and unable to correct the practices of the business, maybe it's best I do report it. The purpose of my review is to provide valuable feedback to the business so they can make improvements and remind their workers of basic health code laws.
