To begin with, the service was great. Chill but attentive and very quick. We started off with the egg rolls which were great, felt freshly fried. The dough was fluffy, the sauce paired wonderfully. The portions were family style. Definitely go in expecting to share. We ordered the bahn mi with beef. Amazing. The mayo was almost like chipotle but sweet. The beef was so tender, and the veggies were fresh. Incredibly prepared. We also got the Spicy cashew and water chestnut with chicken. The spice level was perfect. Very solid dish Lastly for dessert we got the matcha ice-cream. It was 2 scoops, very cute presentation. I personally thought it tasted like mint which wasn't my favorite. Came for dinner and this place was packed. No one else was in line and they quickly cleaned up an empty table for us. I came for the pho dac biet and they did not disappoint. I like that it came with lots of tripe, meatballs, tendons, sliced rare steak, and brisket. A plate of lime, basil, bean sprouts, and jalapeño slices completed the order. I also ordered the papaya salad with shrimp and it was very refreshing. I also tried the seafood stir fry with garlic. The dish included mussels, clams, crab, shrimp, and fish. It was very flavorful and I definitely recommend. It was easy to get the waitress' attention. She brought extra water cups without asking. I like that she provided extra bowls and plates for sharing. I liked that they took 15% off of the bill for grand opening. There was one restroom next to the kitchen. This was way better than I expected. I was able to get street parking right in front, which was pretty convenient. We got the papaya salad, pho dac biet, and seafood with garlic sauce. We went with the non-spicy papaya salad with shrimp and I liked that it had tomatoes and green beans in there. The pho dac biet was good and the tendon was really soft. The seafood with garlic sauce was really good with a lot of variety of seafood. Clams, mussels, both real crab and imitation crab, fish, shrimp, and squid. Came with rice to soak up that sauce. Finally had the chance to try this restaurant! It's so cute, small & very modern inside. We stopped by on a Friday evening around 6:30 & were seated right away! Our food came out fast. All the employees are so friendly. We tried the Pad Thai combination which was absolutely delicious & flavorful. Egg rolls were nice and crispy. Pho brisket was so good and it was a big portion! We loved the spring rolls. Would come back even if that's all they made here! So so good! The pork Pad Kra Pao was also really good! The Rare Beef Pho was not good tho, as much as I wanted to love it - it was lacking pho flavor and the steak pieces were tough and dry. We were craving tom yum soup and decided to try a new spot that had great reviews. From the outside it looks small, but once you're inside it's actually pretty nice and comfortable. We went on a Sunday night around 8 pm, and at first the place was completely empty, which kinda scared us because what if food wasn't good. But we knew it close at 9:30, so we assumed maybe that's why it was empty. As we started eating, the place quickly filled up, and after trying the food, it made total sense why. The tom yum soup was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and just what we were craving. The chow mein portion was HUGE and super satisfying. Prices were very reasonable too, about $50 for both plates. And the service was great, everyone was super attentive. Definitely a spot worth checking out! read more

Service was friendly and fast. We went to this restaurant when it was Velma's and it looks completely different. It's clean and bright with pretty light fixtures. The food was excellent. Everything was fresh, hot, and flavorful. The prices are on the high competitive side BUT the portions are huge. We can eat a lot and we had almost full containers to take home. I really don't have any complaints about anything! The portions are huge, enough for at least 3ppl. The staff is also very nice and I kinda like that their TVs play what seems to be a show about different Asian street foods. Only thing I can say is the bahn mi was different than others I've had but still good. We ordered a Beef Banh Mi and Shrimp Pad See Ew and it was to die for. The food was so fresh and clean, we felt like we went to grandma's house. The portions are insane, my bf and I ordered separate meals for ourselves when we absolutely did not need to. We have so many leftovers that we cannot wait to crack into. I wish we took pictures of the food it was just so good we couldn't wait. Not only that but the prices are insane for the amount of food you receive.
