Stopped by on Friday for lent and loved it here!! So much flavor in every bite and the menu is massive! The way the shrimp is in a bowl is amazing. Fries are fantastic. I absolutely love this place. I've been here a total of three times, but this time was my first time dinning in and it was the best experience I've ever had. I really enjoyed the service here, the server was very attentive and I loved the ambiance as well. I enjoyed that I came on a Sunday at 4pm and I was able to have a conversation and it wasn't busy nor packed. The food came out pretty fast and everything was fresh. In the area and came across Let's Sea after canvassing a shopping center prospecting for a potential good idea as well as place to eat. Let's Sea caught our attention so we pulled up. As we were walking in. We had a healthy conversation with a frequent patron and her son who gave us some insider info as to the best Spice(s) to order that compliment the meal from their perspective. Those suggestions turning out to be great advice indeed because we actually chose the Threesome spice seasoning (recommended) for both Boils that later turned out being delicious. The Mother Son pair spoke fondly of their previous food and dinning experiences so naturally we were encouraged that we stumbled upon a good find, and was then looking forward to our own experience. The aesthetic and crowd made for a great atmosphere and ambiance for dinning in. We were greeted and seated instantaneously. The service was nice professional and attentive. We ordered 2 Lets Sea Combo's with Threesome Spices. One was Headless (mine) with no Sausage. The other, Peeled, (these designations are for preparation as well as size and type of Shrimp in your boil). Also ordered Garlic Noodles, and chose a Pepsi and Thai Iced Tea to wash it down. The food was simply good and made for a very pleasurable meal experience indeed. Was underwhelmed by the saltiness of the Crab meat (that denoted freshness) of MY Boil however. Outside of that we were both very pleased with our Boils. Their seasonings and preparations hit their mark for sure. Already planning the return. I used to go to this restaurant's sister restaurant in Artesia called "Let's Sea Bag and Roll." That location closed down. Now the main restaurant is located here in Southgate. The seafood boil is still the same, but this spot has Thai food as well. This place has a bunch of televisions for sports and plenty of room for large groups. The customer service is A-1. I recommend you try this place. read more

Only reviewing the seafood boil and not the Thai food. In a busy plaza, the restaurant is off to the side by Starbucks drive thru. The restaurant was able to accommodate our party of 8. Went to celebrate my sister's birthday. The threesome flavor was a bit on the salty side. The garlic butter flavor was good. Service was good and staff are attentive. The best part was that the head on shrimp orders weren't overcooked and when peeling, the shrimp meat did not get stuck to the shell!!! In a lot of other seafood boil restaurants I visit, 9/10 of them over cook the shrimp. The fried calamari were as expected. Simple tempura batter with sweet chili dipping sauce and a green sauce. The inside was clean and the music was not too loud, it was set at a good volume where you're not shouting over each other to talk. They did play demon hunter: Golden and our table did sing a long. come to find out there were 3 birthdays including our group eating there. We all sang happy birthday for the other guests as well. My party got served very quickly when we came through the door. The food did not take very long either. Our server was very helpful in telling us the market prices of the seafood and about their menu. The Naked Box Shrimp was very good. I got medium level spice and it was just enough to get my nose running a little. The portion was great for me since it allowed me to get full, but for others they might want to get the superbowl. Omg this place sauce is soooo SALTY!! It was so salty it wasn't even enjoyable. They charge for condiments. I asked for ranch and they definitely gave me tartar sauce and looked at me like I was crazy when I said wasn't paying for it. I didn't even eat it. We came from Victorville CA to come eat Let's Sea to see the hype. We got the Wednesday special 'clams either shrimp and a Chang beer' for only $15. We got the threesome season mild and it was delicious. After some garlic fries with jasmine rice and the crab lobster combo for only $90. GUYS!!! That's a deal!! The clams were hit and miss as some were great while others were handy. Generous amounts of sausages and potatoes were given for a good price. My wife and I were able to finish the add ons in one sitting. I'd give the restaurant and overall 3.5 right now, 5 for the sauce alone and a bit lower than a 3 for the seafood quality. We came here today after having a bad experience at another seafood boil place, and this restaurant completely turned our day around. The staff were so kind and understanding when we explained that our toddler has food allergies and needed to eat his own meal. They didn't make a fuss about it at all, just welcomed us warmly and made us feel comfortable as a family.
