Honestly, everything was overcooked this time. The lobster tail was a big disappointment -- it was so overcooked that it was basically falling apart. I even showed our waiter, Alyssa, and pointed out that the lobster tail was completely dissolved, but nothing was really done about it. She just said "oh, okay," which was frustrating. The sauce was amazing as always, which is why it's disappointing. My family and I come here a lot and have enjoyed it in the past, but lately the food has been overcooked and our recent experiences haven't been great. I have been coming to this restaurant for over 5 years and have always had wonderful experiences, but my visit today was beyond disappointing. We were told the wait would be 5-10 minutes. We watched as multiple empty tables sat open, yet we waited nearly 50 minutes to be seated. To make matters worse, we watched the staff seat a party of 12 and a party of 6 who arrived long after we did, even though we were next on the list. As a server myself, I try to give the benefit of the doubt--especially since it looked like they only had two people on the floor--but the lack of professionalism was shocking. We didn't receive our drinks until our food arrived, and no one ever checked on us for refills. The only time a server approached our table was to ask when the people at the table next to us had left because they apparently walked out on their bill. The food was delicious as always, which is the only reason this isn't a 1-star review. However, the service has reached a point where I'm not sure I'll be coming back. They are lucky I have the integrity to pay my bill, because nobody even bothered to check if we had paid before we left. They desperately need more staff and better organization on the floor. read more

Dear General Manager, I'm a longtime patron of Stinkin Crawfish, and I'm writing because my most recent visit on September 6, 2025, left me genuinely disappointed--enough that I feel both management and relevant oversight bodies should be aware. For context, I previously worked for the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, though I am now employed with another department. Over the years, I've recommended your restaurant to many friends and family. Unfortunately, on this occasion, I brought out-of-town guests and the experience fell far below the standard I've come to expect. Although I was there simply to enjoy a meal, we encountered unacceptable service from one of your staff, I can give a name when called. (as she identified herself). When one of my guests politely asked for a different table because of the excessive air conditioning, the server replied curtly that we would need to wait longer. She was also visibly engaged in a dispute with another group regarding their order, which she refused to fulfill, setting a negative tone for the evening. Throughout our wait, this same server responded to any inquiry with sarcasm or outright rudeness, and her body language was consistently unprofessional. It was clear her attitude affected not only our party, but others as well. Thankfully, another staff member eventually took over our table, and her professionalism was a welcome relief. Upon leaving, I requested to speak with the manager but was informed he would not be available until the next day. When I asked for his name, the original server inserted herself, telling me to include her name in my complaint as well--further demonstrating a lack of accountability for her behavior. Beyond the service, I also noticed what appeared to be mold on the kitchen floors near the restroom area. As you know, Los Angeles County Public Health Ordinance Code 114010 (Food Facility Sanitation) and Code 114257 (Food Contact Surfaces) require management to maintain clean and sanitary conditions at all times. The presence of mold is a clear violation and poses a risk to public health. To make matters worse, the food quality had dropped noticeably. Around 85% of the shrimp we were served were mushy and lacked proper texture, which raises concerns about food safety and freshness. Given these issues--both with service and sanitation--I strongly urge you to review the staff's conduct and address any violations of the relevant Public Health Ordinances. I also believe the Better Business Bureau (BBB) should be informed, as this experience does not reflect well on your business. If you need further details, I am more than willing to help identify the staff member involved. I hope that you take these concerns seriously so that future guests do not encounter the same problems. Let me start by saying that I've been to many crab boil places but this one hands down is the best for taste. The sauce or juice or whatever you call it is very flavorful. If you like garlicky stuff the stinkin' special sauce is the go to. I haven't tried the others but boy oh boy you want to drink the bag liquid. Customer service is great and the place is not too loud and not too quiet. You can go casual as can be. They also serve soju and beer so you can have a nice beverage to go along with the meal. I love this place. It's one of my favorites! I wish it was open for lunch during the weekdays. The server, I want to say their name is Jeff, was amazing. Very friendly, I would say they go above and beyond. I like to get peeled shrimp, stinkin special, hot, and make ot awesome (corn, potatoes, sausage). I consider this place to be more affordable than other seafood shops. Location can be difficult to get to, parking is sometimes a mess, but it's worth it. They deserve more business. We were given samples of the sauces with our food and we felt that we knew exactly what we were going to order this second time around. Fast forward to our second visit and the food tasted so different than what we remembered. We ordered crawfish with shrimp in spicy garlic butter. My husband and I had to keep adding salt, pepper, and lemon to give it some flavor. We also waited 40 minutes for our food. The restaurant was about half full and only one waitress. Haven't been here and a while and decided I was craving it again, so I strolled in at around 3:30 and it was mostly empty. I was immediately seated and picked where I sat by the kind waiter. It looked like he was bussing alone, but he did it very quickly and kindly for everyone in the restaurant! My girlfriend and I tried the new garlic fries and garlic bread and WOW they were great! I may be a bit biased because I love garlic, but they were delicious nonetheless. I also didn't even notice it was BOGO beer when I came it, but the waiter brought me my second without even asking! Shoutout to him again. My only complaints were that the shrimp itself was a bit too salty and eating all of them felt overwhelming with all that salt. Also, no TV on felt strange since I like to watch sports when I'm in here, but I'll definitely come back and eat here again since my girlfriend loves it so much. read more

One guy Danny wrote a negative review and my family and I actually happen to be there on the day he is discussing. His account of what happened is not accurate. He was very rude. I want to say he was intoxicated. At least that is exactly how he was acting. When they asked for a different table the server told them of course but they would need to wait so she could get it ready. This guy had a full blown tantrum and the people he was with actually had to take him outside and talk him off the ledge. He was pretty upset for no apparent reason. When they finally calmed him down, they came back in and were seated. They seem to be fine once he calmed down and they enjoyed their meal. But then, as they were getting ready to leave, he asked for the servers name, as well as the managers name. He told her that he was going to speak to the manager about her and she said that is fine, My name is....
