I recently bought a TV, stand and sound bar at this Bellevue Video Only store. Great customer service. They were able to provide good demos of what I wanted to see on the showroom floor. They were of great help in getting the system set up in my home. Great place to shop. read more

Having to purchase a new smart television can be daunting, but Ryan made it easy! The TV was delivered and set up the next day and I could not be happier with the service and follow up! 5 stars Great price too! read more

I am sorry. I should have never purchased a TV here. Save yourself the hassle and purchase at Amazon, Bestbuy, or Costco. If you need to exchange or return they completely flip how they treat you as a customer. read more

What a great experience! I went in with my daughter to look at DefTech speakers with the Atmos additions and was really impressed by the price and the sales style, very helpful and not pushy at all. read more

I was helped right away when I entered the store. They seem to have the best prices in town except when Costco has a sale like Black Friday. I said I would buy the Samsung 55" if it would fit in my car. They took an empty box and tried putting it in my car, unfortunately it did not fit. This part, I don't understand, their website says they don't deliver, but the sales guy said delivery was $60. I wasn't willing to pay the extra delivery fee so walked out. read more

I never leave Yelp reviews but feel compelled to do so given my phenomenal experience with Video Only. I recently went to their Bellevue location to scope out a new TV after failing to get much useful service at the big box store. I am a part time film writer and extremely picky about TVs/video quality and did weeks of research before setting foot into a store. It was critical to me that I was able to test a variety of footage across multiple panels and with varying settings. Sam, the Video Only staff member, was incredibly helpful and understanding of my finicky needs. I spent probably an hour tinkering in the store before making a decision. I took the TV home and was, ultimately, not happy with my choice. A couple days later I took the TV back and Sam graciously helped me exchange it for another model, which I selected after they allowed me to hook up my laptop and broadcast some of my own content on the TV, to really test it out like I would at home. This level of service and care blows the brand name retailers out of the water, and I couldn't be happier with what I ended up with. I'm now a Video Only customer for life. read more

I worked with a very professional sales person named Sam. I could not have had a better experience! Sam was amazing, I called ahead about a Sony 55" TV and when I arrived Sam had it all ready and even loaded it in my car. The whole transaction took less than 10 minutes. Superb customer service (thank you Sam!!!) and a much better price than Best Buy too. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND going to Video Only in Bellevue and working with Sam! read more

total bullshit ad on komo radio. if you don't buy from video only you will be sorry.....i got news for you. you will be one sorry ass if you do, because even costco is less money plus others as well. costco got my business . the tv's purchased at costco, saved me 890.00 over what video only wanted. total rip off. read more

DON'T GO TO VIDEO ONLY!!! RIP OFF-SCAM and like their commercial says, "YOU'LL BE SORRY!!!" If I could give a zero star to this place I would, however there aren't any zero or negative stars on Yelp so I guess this will have to do. And let me apologize for my long winded review but nothing else would do. My boyfriend and I went into this sleazy place looking for our 1st TV purchase together since we're moving in together for our 1 year anniversary (we were soooo excited!!). We were immediately berated by a "car salesman" like associate that began talking about how the biggest and the best is the one and that one and of course it's over a grand. Never did he say hi, how are you, what are you looking for and what is it that you really need right now? So being as excited as we were, we went ahead and purchased this Samsung Smart TV that was "on sale" (and later saw it on Amazon and Best Buy for $50 - $150 less). That was our fault because we should have known better by the creepy, dirty feeling we got upon entering the store. (Don't ever believe them when they pull out a piece of paper and say here is what they're selling it on Amazon for because it was a straight up lie.) Next Day: After a few hours of entering in all of our account info and hours of trying to figure stuff out on our new Smart TV we gave up on why the apps didn't show up and went to bed. When we woke up in the morning the apps were there!! (Nobody in the store mentioned to us that the TV might need to load in order for the apps to show but we did learn this at a later visit to Best Buy). We then noticed over the next few days that the TV would turned off by itself automatically and not just that but the Stand was crooked (bent) so that the TV was tilted. So when I called Video Only, the man on the phone said he understood my concerns and that he would make it up to us since we purchased 2 TV's there and not just one. Yes, my friends we were dumb enough to purchase a smaller TV for our bedroom as well. He told me that he understood how much of a hassle this defective product would be to us since we now that we're having to waste gas and get replacement that we'd then have to re-enter all of our account info into all over again with a very small remote that makes you tap over to each letter when you are putting in your email and such. Now mind you, this "guy" that we talked to that never came forth when we actually went to exchange this defective $1100 TV said he would, "MAKE IT UP TO US". Day of exchange: Upon entering the store and stating that we were there for an exchange the vibe was completely different from when we were fresh, dumb consumers for them to prey on. The attitude was simply rude and "what do you want?, take your replacement and go" type of attitude. When I spoke to the guy who said he "might" have spoken to me on the phone about "making it up to us" he simply passed us onto this short, little maybe 20 something year old guy that was supposed to be the store manager. When I repeated to this little man that they could make this all up to us by providing us with a wireless keyboard (and honestly I wouldn't have cared if it was the cheap $35 keyboard instead of the matching Samsung brand name) so that I could more easily re-enter all of my info into my "SMART TV", he gave me this sideways look and asked me WHY, twice. Once that awkward interrogation was over, he said he would call the guy who sold us the TV because it would be coming out of HIS paycheck and not his. Then he proceeded to tell us that the guy who sold us the TV was the previous store manager (mind you this was just a week prior so they must have a very high employee turnover for managers to come and go) and that he was at the Lynnwood store? At this point he said that since that guy wasn't at the Bellevue store anymore that he would not be able to help us any further and that even giving us a replacement for the defective TV was "making it up" to us. Did I forget to mention that when we got there to exchange this faulty product, the older, tall Asian (car) salesman (and yes he was very short and dismissive with us) basically told us to our faces that we're lucky that they even held this TV for us because they're selling so fast. So let me get this straight? We're lucky that you are replacing $1100 TV that was defective to begin with? He responded by saying he doesn't make them so it's not his fault. To some degree I understand, however if you are going to sell a product then you should probably stand behind it and not make your customers feel like shit for having received a defective item. We went directly to Best Buy and received over an hour of knowledge on not only how to better use our TV's but that we were welcome back anytime if we had questions on them (THE TV'S THAT WE DIDN'T EVEN BUY FROM THEM!!) In conclusion, if you need a TV, do your research on Amazon, and go to Best Buy or Fry's, don't do this to yourself. Not worth it. read more

Walked in on Sunday with a plan to buy two tv's as I had just recently moved and wanted to upgrade. We walked in and the store was mostly empy. Five employees were there, of which three looked our way, then looked away. No hello, how are you, welcome. My wife and I then walked down the row with the biggest tv's and immediately this older salesman speeds over to us. "what are you looking for?" he asked. Not hello, howzit going. "we are just looking around, thanks." we replied. "well you MUST be looking for something." he said with dollar bill signs as eyes. "nope just looking." i said. He then just walks away. I understand they sell tvs on the cheaper side, but the lack of service is insulting. Instead, we ordered our $3000 worth of electronics and furniture from Amazon. Better policy, no used car salesmen to deal with. Worst customer service experience ever. read more

I had a great TV shopping experience here. I am not a picky TV watcher, but I wanted something that was at least on-par for current technology. Something that will last me a good long while. I had done a bit of research to get a price point for HDTVs in the 37-42" size. I had planned on buying at Costco until I saw the Video Only ad in the paper for a Columbus Day sale. The ad showed a 42" for $479, much cheaper than typical for that size, so I decided to check it out. The store isn't pretty. I remember looking in there when I was a tyke and TVs that weren't built in wood cabinets were cutting edge. It looked just as it does today. In fact, their indoor signs show brand names that these guys say are lower-tier products anymore: Zenith, RCA, etc. In any case, they only carry 5 or so brands, targeting what they say are the best ones out there, currently Toshiba, LG, Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, if I recall correctly. I was approached by Devin, who reminded me a bit of Jim Halpert from The Office. He was definitely NOT douchey, was incredibly laid back and easy-going. He stayed out of my hair when I didn't want him, and was knowledgeable when I did. It turned out that the $479 TV had a 60mhz refresh rate while current standard is 120 and high end is 240. He showed me that they had another one on sale for $100 more that was 120mhz. I pulled up the new TV on my iPhone and saw that I was already getting a good deal, but some gentle haggling brought the price down another $70. I got a much better price than could be found anywhere online and I walked away with a TV that will more than suit my needs. I hope not to have to buy another TV for a long time, but if I do, or if I decide to invest in new speakers, I will definitely check out Video Only again. read more

Worked with Sam. Amazing service and attention. What I love about this place is that they had normal programs on the tv so I could actually watch the same shows that I watch at home. The had the latest lg OLED right next to the latest Samsung QLED so I was able to compare side by side with regular cable programming. They let me adjust the tv unlike bb. I ended up choosing the latest LG C9 over the Samsung Q90. Without video only, I'm not sure I would've been able to decide. read more

I have had very mixed experiences at Video Only. I bought a TV from them ~10 years ago, one of the last of the large CRT sets that were being made, just as flat-screen sets were hitting the market. Received excellent service at the time (including free delivery of the 150 lb monster set). But considering that they had sold me technology that they knew was obsolete, I can see why they were anxious to have me get the set home ASAP before I could change my mind. My other visits there have been less positive. The salespeople are pretty pushy, and clearly have been told to push certain items or brands. I usually go there to check their prices on items I have already researched, and then buy if they have a good deal. I was shopping for a new A/V receiver recently (before doing my usual pre-shopping research), and almost bought a very nice Yamaha unit there on my initial visit. But I decided I needed to think it over further, and do a little more research. Boy, am I glad I waited! I discovered after doing some internet research that my TV was not compatible with the receiver the salesman was pushing. And I had told him the set I have, and it is one that they also sell in their store. So no excuse for him not knowing about the compatibility issue. The problem could be solved with an extra gadget, but at a considerably higher cost, and also an added level of complexity. No thanks! read more

I've bought two systems from V.O. for me, and one for my mom. The sales people were knowledgable, fair and didn't push me. Perhaps you can get a ever so slightly better price on line, but you may pay shipping. V.O.'s selection isn't as wide as a huge store, but it's far better than Costco and the folks (with rare exception) know what they are talking about. read more

I'm glad that I had heard good things about Video Only from my friends, because if I went by the negative reviews here I would have had to pass. Even going in at the tail end of the Christmas shopping season I found the selection to be very good, the salesperson very knowledgeable, and the pricing excellent. My salesman was Jeff and he found me a very nice BluRay player at a great price. No hassles, no drama. Now I have to save for a better flat screen... read more

Excellent Customer Service. Chris is great. I wanted to buy a 4K TV, speaker, and TV stand, and went to video only. What else you want, you guys beat everyone both in customer service and price. Keep it up. read more

I had a great experience with these guys. Went in after my old TV bit the dust and gave the salesman the size range I was looking for and the budget I wanted to stay in and he gave me several options to look at. I recently bought a Samsung 46" LED Smart TV and matching sound bar from Eric, manager of Video Only in Bellevue. My experience couldn't have been better. I walked in during my lunch break and Erik asked me what type of TV I was looking for. I had done some research ahead of time and told him what size, brand, and features I wanted. Eric answered all of my questions about the TV and even matched Costco's price for the same TV. I hired Bill (company name = Northwest Digital Media), a referral from Video Only, to install the TV and mount it to my living room wall. It looks fantastic!! Big thank you to Eric at Video Only and Bill at Northwest Digital Media for making this easy, quick, and a success! read more

I went in knowing I wanted big TV, but not sure how big and what all the details/specs meant. Jeff was extremely helpful and informative, never tried to over sell me, and didn't make me feel dumb for not knowing much about TVs. I'd recommend this place to anyone. The best! read more

This store really has great prices and their sales manager (Jeff Todd) really knows his stuff. I looked at prices online to compare at Best Buy and other places online and they were at least 30% cheaper. The return policy isn't as lenient as Costco or some other larger stores but by them keeping their costs down they are able to offer really low prices. At least they will give a store credit if you return something you have used. I also got a great recommendation from them for a contractor to install my home theater system (Kenny Nguyen with SCC Electrical & Communication Co.). Thanks Video Only. We will be back. read more

Was here this past Sunday. Recently bought a 4K tv, very satisfied with the tube, and the customer service. "Dar," was excellent from the start when I first got into the store, let me test drive the sets, and came away happy! I dunno why this place doesn't receive higher recognition! I was recommended by two people, and I would refer this place to whoever is interested in buying a 4K tv. Xmas came early for this camper! read more

I'm amazed by the negative comments here. On two separate occasions, I received exemplary service from a salesperson and manager. The prices were significantly cheaper than Amazon or Best Buy, and after my purchase I walked out of the store with everything I wanted. I can understand why some posters say it feels "dingy" or "dark", but the store is by no means in bad shape. High traffic on carpet does it no favors. The TVs are immaculate and well set. When it's time to replace my home theater, I'll return and buy again. read more

We purchased HDTV's @ this store before and were please with the sales support in making the best decision for our needs and, of course, the prices were unbeatable. So, after spending a couple of months researching all the choices there are in HDTV's, it was time to buy. Shopped online, BB, Frye's and Costco and knew the model/prices for each store then went to Video Only to see what they could do. Hooked up with Kevin who gave us time and space to view the two models we were most interested in. Kevin knew the competitions prices and knew where we wanted to be pricing -wise before we began negotiations. Kevin not only beat the competitions pricing, he was able to add 3D glasses and HDMi cable to sweeten the deal. And Kevin had the item in stock. No waiting 3-5 days or whatever to deliver. We will buy again at Video Only and hope Kevin is there to make the sale. read more

WOW. This store really rocks, I don't get the negative reviews... But the real reason why I'm posting a review on this website is because of the salesman, Kevin. I have NEVER met such an extraordinary sales guy! Great personality, and really makes you feel like you're the only one there. Listened to all I had to say (I had to have been annoying him with my ridiculous questions... LOL..) I've personally been in sales for 30 years, and I was stunned!!! Amazing communication and service! We came in looking for a TV around 55", and I already predetermined I wanted Samsung.. reviews looked good online. Kevin didn't up sell us or push us to something we didn't want, but instead showed me and my wife all the cool features and benefits of the TV, also showing us some reviews from different magazines. I honestly wasn't ready to buy, but we felt really good about how everything was presented to us and we didn't get any notion that he was trying to get a quick sale. AND price was excellent!!! (they beat some online stores?!?!?)... Kevin made sure the price was better than the competition also. At this point we were sold.... No hassle, he didn't push us on any accessories or warranties. Amazing experience, felt like I was buying a house LOL. TV looks killer in my man cave...need to convince the wife to buy a Bose system.... yeahhhhh. Anyway. Sales guy is ridiculously good. Make sure to ask for Kevin and tell em' Troy sent ya! read more

Really sad to see some bad reviews here, as I have been buying TVs from the Bellevue, WA, Video Only store since the late 1990s, always with great success. The sales staff are amazing. They take ample time to explain how and why each unit functions, and never use pressure tactics. Also, they're most helpful with explaining set-up, if needed. As for 'return policy' . . . it's really quite simple. Once the box is opened, whether by them for you, or by you for yourself, they will either issue a store 'credit' or provide a new unit the same as your purchase in the event there's a problem. This isn't really confusing, and is actually quite fair. They stand behind their products, and their informational help is beyond essential to those of us who are less than techy. Most places want to hand you the box and get you out of the store as fast as possible; not Video Only in Bellevue! Shop here with confidence. They're locals ~~!! read more

Just purchased a 75" Samsung Smart TV and the wall hanging bracket for it, they delivered the TV but not the bracket. So after a handful of phone calls I had to drive to Bellevue to pick up the bracket. Once I returned and started to install the bracket & TV I notice that there was no HDMI cable....really.......called Jared at Video Only who said "they don't come with HDMI cable". You think he would have told me this at time of purchase so that I could buy one from him.....I told him to think about bringing that little tidbit up to his next customer.....bet he forgets. I thought the entire experience was a joke! read more

We bought a Samsung 4K LED TV from the Bellevue store yesterday. Our 15 year old rear projection TV finally quit and we wanted a replacement. After a brief online review of current technology, we went to Video Only, with the intent of later going to Best Buy for comparison afterwards. Shortly after entering the store, a salesman (Ryan) asked if he could help. I explained that we were looking for information that would help us with our decision, but the only definitive issue was the space that was available. Ryan spent almost two hours with us, discussing the differences between the technologies (plasma screen no longer available, as I knew from online information), LCD was a vanishing technology, and OLED had some minor advantages, but at a big price, and not in our size range. He never pushed a product, and spent a lot of time showing us our options, given our preferred size option for the space available. He also showed us sound bar and stand options, all without any pressure to buy. I felt very comfortable with thanking him for the information and the time that he had spent with us and leaving, but that did not happen. My wife wanted a nice stand and Blu-Ray player, so we quickly explored those options (I had already made the decision to buy from Ryan when he said that they would remove our rear projection TV and recycle the components at no charge). By the time that I made the decision to buy the TV, stand, Blu-ray player, and sound bar, he said that he would give me the appropriate cables (turns out one cable short for the installers), install, no charge for the delivery or removal of the defunct TV (big effort), and deliver it within a stated 2 hour time frame the next day, which they did. Bottom line, they delivered the new TV and components well within the time frame promised, set it all up for us to use, and took the nonfunctioning TV away. As an aside, I was concerned about buyers remorse after making what seemed to me to be an impulsive decision. We never went to Best Buy. Online, their price for the same TV was $400 more. After the fact, reading the Yelp reviews, most of the very negative ones were written a few years ago. Maybe those reviews have made a positive change in the company, as we could not be happier with our initial experience, as Ryan thoroughly explained our responsibilities, as customers, to make warranty issues, if any, easy to address, whether it be with the company or Samsung. It has only been a day's experience, but we could not be happier with Ryan and the time that he spent educating us about our options, the no pressure experience, the delivery and set up as promised, or especially the pricing. read more

THIS IS AN ACTUAL REVIEW BY A CUSTOMER!! I am a repeat customer of video only. They are good at what they do, if you have a decent idea of what you want. Their prices are better than costco, and they carry the models best rated by consumer reports for those who like others to do their research for them. Yes their salespeople are just that, salespeople. The electronic engineers with PHDs have jobs elsewhere, DUH. They are friendly, and if you are courteous, so are they, like most people. I will be back there soon for my next TV sets. I think that the negative reviews on here are thinly veiled B.S. by their competition. Unfortunately this is an easy forum for companies to bash their competitors. Richard, Mercer Island read more

Video Only claims they are a highly customer oriented organization. It is all false. The sales manager at this store happened to be the person who offered me help to pick a couple of HD TV sets. He was rude, not knowledgable and definitely not customer service oriented. I challenged him a little bit on his prices. The next thing I know, he asked me to leave the store!!! What kind of a sales person asks a potential customer to leave a store? I left and took my money elsewhere. Go to Video Only and you'll be sorry. read more

Did not even ask if they could make me another offer? Shopped at Costco, Best Buy and shopped Video Only last. "Big Jeff" at Video Only in Bellevue was very knowledgeable and not pushy. Prices and selection were better than Best Buy and the installation/hookup/delivery cost was much lower. Best Buy tried to sell us an install package for almost $500. What are they thinking??? Best Buy couldn't guarantee delivery/install in under two weeks and said they had to special order the TV we wanted. Video Only store is set up to easily allow comparison between the pictures of various TV technologies and brands versus Best Buy which seems to be arranged to focus the customer to some specific high-margin TVs. The radio commercials may be obnoxious for Video Only but a visit to the store is required for anybody serious about buying a TV. We purchased a 65 inch with Bose speakers and a TV stand. Everything was delivered and set up the next day. I can't say enough about the great experience that we had with "Big Jeff". I would highly recommend them!!! read more

Remember their slogan: "If you buy from VideoOnly, You'll be sorry!" I purchased a new receiver from here, it was defective. I gave them a second chance, and exchanged it. The second unit was also defective. I attempted to return the product, but the store manager refused. I left without any product, and without any money. I filed a charge-back with my credit card company/bank for "goods and services not delivered as promised", and immediately received my money back. I'll never buy from this company again, and I recommend you don't either. read more

While Video only might have good prices I will not go to the Bellevue store again. Their customer support is generally non existing. I came to the store hoping for a professional advice about stereo and headphones. When I came to the store I was told that someone will be with me shortly. The store was empty and the sale guys were just standing and chatting and no one offered help. After a few minutes the help consisted from saying that they have what I see and the sale guy returned to his discussion. Horrible experience! Came to buy a sound bar to bypass the sound in my TV as it wasn't working. Salesman said it would work. Got it home and it did not. Brought it back the next day and he tried to pressure me into buying a new TV instead with shady sales tactic. Was in no mood to buy at the time and wanted to have tech come out to diagnose my TV before spending 1000s on a new one. Asked him to just return the sound bar and I would come back over the weekend. He said I couldn't return because the box was open. I WAS LIVID. Do not buy from here as you cannot return anything. You can only get a store credit. Last thing I wanted to do was to now buy a TV from this guy (Dar)! After complaining for a good ten minutes and walking out in frustration he said the manager would override it and give me a refund. Gee, thanks for all the hassle. Now I have to watch my bank account every day for the refund (which took 20 min for him to reload paper, answer phone calls while I was waiting) since he says it will be up to 14 business days.... I'm happy to say that I had a positive experience shopping at the Bellevue store. I was shopping recently for a new HD TV and other components. I worked with Jared and he was excellent. He only offered advice after asking enough questions to understand what I was looking for and what my priorities were. He was never pushy and never tried to have me buy without shopping around. I shopped other stores, and thought I found a better deal. I called back to ask why the difference in price, and got a lot of information that the other store reps failed to call out. Online checks confirmed the info I got from Jared, and he did what he needed to do to make the numbers work for me, over the phone, without asking me to drive back to the store before offering his best offer (which beat the competitors'). The delivery and setup service were great - polite, fast, and informative. They even assembled the furniture in the store so that I didn't have to wait and watch and clean up the Styrofoam afterwards. I had a tricky setup issue with the components, called the store, and got a detailed explanation of how to set up the surround sound amp's software settings to get the component behavior I wanted. Bottom line, I learned a lot about the components, never felt rushed or pressured, received great after-sales service, and two months later, I'm satisfied that I bought/was sold the right components to meet my needs, and am happy with the price I got. I highly recommend shopping at Video Only (Bellevue). read more
