Since the pandemic and paint shortage, a lot of the paint bases I wanted were either not produced or sold out, but Kyle kept me as a customer because he helps find alternatives and gives great deals. Once I had a gallon, from another SW store, that seemed defective after drying. Even though I used over half of the gallon, Kyle looked at it carefully with me and gave me a replacement gallon. That is a manager that truly cares about his customers!

Tree damage required us to match a stain for application to the current lighter-colored cedar siding. Knowing nothing, I started calling paint stores. Some refused to even try. Some tried and failed to match the color. One came near the color but couldn't match our siding's eggshell finish. A couple stores referred me to Miller Paint Bellevue. Miller Paint absolutely NAILED the color (and my wife and I both have perfect color vision) and reproduced our eggshell finish with the application of two different products. We're stunned by the value they contributed to our project. They did what everyone else thought was impossible.

I was very excited to pick up new palettes for future painting and to find a nice store and expressed my deep gratitude for their efforts. However, when I went to use my contractors discount through my general contractor who does all my painting, the young lady was extremely mean spirited and I was treated like a criminal! She said she needed to call my contractor to verify use of their discount! (On a Sunday) The nature of the conversation was juvenile and snotty. I've never ever ever been treated like this at Sherwin-Williams! I've always been treated with respect and integrity when using my contractors account! I am extremely insulted and will never use the store again! They weren't apologetic they were just even more rude! How incredibly disappointing!!!! I informed my contactor so that he can see how his customers are treated and he said he doesn't work with them often anyway because he receives a better deal elsewhere.

A few years ago, I came to purchase the famous Seasalt color to freshen up our room, I remember being impressed with the knowledge that the staff provided here. And patiently answering my questions regarding the pricing difference between the actual store and Lowe's (which also carry Sherwin-Williams paint). Josue and his coworker (forgot his name) was very friendly, personable and helpful. After picking out the color, they were able to get it mixed with the quickness. Not to mention, we were provided with a discount for the paint. How awesome is that?! Definitely a true definition of great customer service, truly a hidden gem in Renton. The color came out great!
