The employee in the paint section was the rudest person I've ever encountered in a big retailer. It took me aback, and I regret completing my purchase at this location. The value isn't worth the lack of professionalism.

I purchased a dishwasher from Home Depot only to have it not function after I put it in. I went to take it back to the store, but was told I had to call a number, drove 30 mins there and back and was annoyed. Asked to talk to anyone in charge to at least tell them the customer impact but was told that Ellie was to busy to come up :(

I worked at this location from 2020-04 to 2020-09 as a part time associate. This 5 star review is for my everyday experience interacting with managers, coworkers, and customers. Yes, like any retail hardware store, this place has it's challenges, limitations and short-comings. But I was deeply impressed with the character of my colleagues. Zach, Dalton, and Micah in management never failed to put in earnest effort to keep things running smoothly and respect the needs and values of their workforce and customers. The attention to safety throughout COVID was palpable and well led. Angsty customers could be a challenge, but so it goes, and those 3 were remarkably adroit in finding satisfying solutions. Cheryl in HR was communicative and upfront about any the concerns I had regarding my role and schedule, as well as what expectations were for my attendance and engagement. Allie in Order Fulfillment was brilliantly effective in coordinating a team of order fillers and delivery runners. Herding cats is no easy task! Hard-working associates like Ryan and Chris lead the way. Head cashier RJ balances compassion for her team with customer-focused efficiency and a zero-tolerance approach to abusive nonsense from some of the more aggressively demanding customers. Inspiring stuff. Special shout out to the gardening department, who care deeply about the quality of their work, and are immensely knowledgeable about their department as well as general store ops. Lumber department deserves a big shout out. Remington and AJ are workhorses, great at balancing the needs of everyone who visits their extremely busy aisles. I could go on and on, but, with apologies to the team member's I am failing to remember to call out, I offer a hearty "Thank you!" for the work experience! Oh also. HOME DEPOT DOG TAX! Bosc 600 series dishwasher is crap! Purchased in 2022 needs repaired yearly well almost I contacted Bosc for a repair they sent someone but didn't repair it! I can't get in touch with anyone well I only waited 28 minutes on the phone maybe not long enough?

Apparently, the center isle is an overflow area.

Have to purposely space dishes inside the washer so they can get cleaned and even with spacing them, still have to hand wash some after the cleaning cycle, constantly. He recommended the worst one possible. Have only had it less than 6 months and will get rid of it. Will not shop here again.

For a some extra fee he was able to arrange next day service. The two installers who arrived today, William and Anthony were amazing. They measured carefully to ensure that the refrigerator would fit before they unboxed the refrigerator. They were gracious and efficient and even suggested a way we could solve a problem with a drawer really close to the refrigerator. This was not our first exprerience at Metropolitan Appliance, and it won't be the last. The professionalism of both the sales staff and the installers was outstanding.

Sure it is theoretically possible that I carefully unwrapped the bubble wrap, took a hammer to the door on a fridge that I've waited over a month for, then rewrapped it carefully for no reason, but... have you heard of Occam's Razor? Don't you think your "customer is liable for all damages unless proven" replacement policy is a bit draconian? "We offered to assist by providing a replacement panel at cost [so] we do feel our team worked to resolve this issue to the best of our ability". So in other words, a door that is literally less that the 3% credit card transaction fee of the order is damaged, and you are doubling down on the stance that the VERY BEST you can do is to SELL me another door. Nice.

Look farther down in tiny font where it says "Available in 3-buisiness days". I went to pick up a microwave on a Wednesday that was advertised as available for same day pickup. It's not. According to the salesman, that means it's at the warehouse, theoretically available for same day pickup, but Frederick's only goes to the warehouse on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and then customer pickup is the following day. OK fine, the item I wanted on Wednesday should be available for pickup on Friday. Except it wasn't. It just wasn't on the truck - no explanation, no reason why, just "well maybe we can get it next Tuesday. No thank you. I cancelled the order and purchased from Wayfair. I would love to support a local business but not when their practices are sloppy and downright deceptive.

CPS has been a miserable partner in supporting their warranty policy but Fredericks did everything to could to get some level of compliance. Would go back to Fredericks for all future appliance needs without hesitation and understand they are no longer affiliated with CPS.

This time I asked about their delivery service, I was qouted a price and given a date and delivery window, which was two days later. I was fine with that eventhough it was a five hour window. When I called on the day of delivery two hours in I was told that my wash machine was on the truck and on the way, and that the driver would call me when they were an hour away. After waiting for the whole five hours no one called me and no one delivered my item. I called back and the lady stated oh maybe their running a little late YOU THINK? She put me on hold and TJ came on the line and said he would call me back in a few minutes to let me know how much longer it would be. Well that never happened the store closed without calling me back. I called the next morning and TJ answered and I asked why he never called me back he began to deflect and talk about how he told the drivers to give me a call. I stopped him to remind him he was the one who was suppose to call me RIGHT BACK. I asked again when can you deliver my appliance, he told me he did not have anyone in today who could do the delivery"It's sitting right here all I need is someone to deliver it to you." HOLD UP!! You told me it was on the truck and out for delivery today why is it still in your store? He could not explain why. He stated he would try to get someone out later in the day then he asked what would be a good time for me. I said YESTERDAY AND ANY TIME THERE AFTER. Needless to say they still did not deliver my machine that was saturday. On monday at 11am I called to inquire about the same delivery the older lady said let me get TJ. He gets on the phone and states the washer is on the truck for delivery. I ask why didn't anyone call me to let me know this and schedule a time I would be able to be there. He asked how early would I like to have the delivery I said NOW. Again he states they are at one stop and I will be the next one. OH AND I WILL HAVE THEM GIVE YOU A CALL!! REALLY!! NO CALL AND NO WASHER!!! I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE AGAIN I PROMISE
