BUYER BEWARE! We have used Albert Lee in the past and were pleased. We just purchased a washer which indicated that it had a $125 rebate. NOT SO if you don't have PSE as your electric provider. We are in Seattle and have Seattle City Light, whose rebate is $35. Very disappointed. We called them to caution that they should alert clients of this discrepancy. Wide array of appliances in the show room . Salesman we had was knowledgeable and very helpful. Delivery was a disaster. they dropped the dishwasher bringing it into the house and damaged a side panel and user interface. Dealing with Bosch and Albert Lee was difficult . Bosch was great Albert Lee was not. It took over three months for a dishwasher that did t work during most of that time for Albert Lee to finally agree to pay for the labor to replace the damaged parts . Read the small print in your sales agreement. You must report delivery problems within 30 days . we don't use our dishwasher every day and we didn't discover the damage until the washer didn't work after two uses and we called for a repairman who didn't come for two weeks. Bosch was great. They replaced all damaged parts at no cost. Albert Lee finally paid for the 250.00 labor to install the damaged parts only after constant nagging and shaming them for their lack of accepting responsibility for their installers mishandling of the delivery and damaging the washer. However it is still 4 months since we bought the washer and we still haven't received the money for the repair! read more

There are not a lot of employees that work in this location, however the two that helped me were okay. The first guy that I worked with gave me misleading information about the delivery of a package. He had been working there along time. So my question was to him..."you don't know how long it takes to deliver items ??" I could've had the item sooner, but because he didn't know the correct information, I had to wait longer than necessary. The second associate, was a gem!! I wish she could run a customer service class for all her coworkers, it would do them all justice!! Especially the Bellevue location! That location deserves a separate review !! Yeah, the "offer" I recieved was to have a technician come and take a look (at something I can tell doesn't work correctly), and at the technicians discretion, they can charge me for that service call (not covered under warranty). So, no thanks. I'm not risking being charged a service call(s) for a product that doesn't work well, or risk upcharges for a warranty that's obviously worthless. And let's be honest, now that I'm stuck with it, why would I take any more time or money trying to get this thing "fixed"? If a retail store backs away from helping, that's pretty much the best indicator that the store isn't worth my money. I stand by my statements before. I'd gladly have traded up to get a better brand, better model... but that ship has sailed. I'll buy elsewhere. read more

Respectfully you may want to call Budget Appliance as they have been out here twice regarding this oven, so even if it was out of their service range they were willing in the beginning. The last call i received feom your company, Albert Lee Appliance, was on 9.29.2022 with a "we are talking to the higher ups to see how we can get the solved for you". It's not often I write one-star reviews, but every now and again a business gives me no choice. Such is the case with Albert Lee. Last September, we ordered about $14,000 in new, high-end appliances for a kitchen remodel. We went with Albert Lee and the appliances we chose on the assurance that these appliances were IN STOCK, and would be held for us until we were ready to have them delivered just before Christmas. Well, imagine my surprise (and chagrin) when I received an e-mail from my sales rep advising me that my appliances would now not be available until the end of the year AT THE EARLIEST, and that they would then schedule installation when their schedule allowed. (Note: I was told at the time of purchase that one item, an oven, wouldn't be available until March, and I was OK with that because I was under the impression that all other items would be there as promised. Needless to say, I was, to put it indelicately, pissed. I spoke to a manager and confronted him by saying it sounded like you took appliances I had paid for and essentially delivered them to someone else, assuming you'd get new stock before I needed my gear (in my business, we called that 'betting on the come'). The manager had the chutzpah to say, 'That was probably the case'. Easy for him to say; he doesn't have to live another month (or more?) with no kitchen. Needless to say, I will not do business with companies that lack integrity in their dealings with customers. I cancelled my order and placed a new order with a competitor. Anyway, I would suggest that if you're in a situation where you are expecting your appliances to be delivered at a future date - and you're making plans based on those promised dates - you do not do business with Albert Lee appliances. Their promises are worthless. If you buy appliances from them, you'd be well advised to take possession at that time, because if you plan on having them hold your purchase until you need them, there is a good chance they may sell those appliances to someone else, and if replacement stock doesn't come in on time, it's 'Too bad, so sad, call your dad' for you. THE VERDICT: Albert Lee has no integrity, and they don't give a cr@p about the customer. Losing my $14,000 order may not be a big loss for them, but I'm not sure they'll like the potential hit from bad word of mouth. Do not recommend under any circumstances. Shop elsewhere. read more

Let's be frank, it's a crap time to buy appliances and that's not any appliance store's fault. I didn't really want to buy appliances now but my dishwasher broke so I set off to see what I could get. I called a few different stores and selection of a decent dishwasher in white was pretty bad. Albert Lee had a Beko for a remarkably good price and it was due to arrive to the warehouse later that week - so my answer was "shut up and take my money." Side note Beko is a newer to America, they're a European appliance manufacturer. Albert Lee is the only dealer around, which seems to be helping supply as they're not spread thin around varied stores. The product reminds me a lot of Bosch, but not months backordered. So that's the good part, the bad part is my dishwasher ran a week late, though that's not Albert Lee's fault. I do wish however they had better systems to track/notify buyers of arrivals, delays, etc to save wasting time calling. In the end I got my dishwasher, it's great, and I'm happy to be done with my week and a half of handwashing. read more

I knew nothing about microwaves, but I needed a new one. And soon. After hours of browsing online, I found a replacement model with the same dimensions and specs. I was ready to spend $280 + $60 shipping on it (from a big box retailer), but I decided to call Albert Lee to see if they had it for local pick-up. They sure did AND my model was on sale for $199!!! Phil Y. helped me over the phone and walked me through my over-the-range installation options. He explained how to replace the old microwave and encouraged me to try it first instead of up-selling me on their installer service, which I totally appreciated because we were able to DIY. Super helpful and honest customer service. They took our old microwave for free. Excellent experience from beginning to end! Will definitely shop with them again next time, but hopefully not any time soon. Haha! read more

I bought my new home in December with new appliances from Albert Lee, they did the install before move in. We had noticed moist carpet and thought it was just due to Seattle's humidity, a couple days later I got a call from the roommate whom heard rushing water and saw water pouring from under the washing machine. I'm getting progressively more disappointed with Albert Lee. We had a new LG induction range delivered on 11/8. We moved in 11/13 and discovered only two out of five burners worked. We initially tried to work with LG directly to get the issue resolved but it has been extremely frustrating to work with them, so last Saturday I reached out to Albert Lee to see if they could help. I was assured that they would advocate for us and get LG to fix or replace our range. It's been six days, and as far as I can tell the only thing Albert Lee has done is send an email to LG yesterday (5 days after I initially reached out about the problem) requesting a repair, and it took another email and call from me to even get them to do this. So it appears I'm on my own to keep arguing with LG to get this handled, and now have to figure out how to cook for family over the holidays with only two burners working on our *brand new* range. read more

I will not buy from here ever again. Bought a fridge that was a show floor model. The salesperson 'conveniently' did not tell me it had sat in a warehouse for four years. Sold it to me in demo mode meaning ot didn't cool or freeze the food. Albert Lee was no help in remedying this problem. Had to wait a week for GE service to come out and put it in regular functioning mode. 8 months later the ice maker broke. Waited a week for GE repair to come fix it. Now same day the repairman was here the water dispenser no longer works. Who knows how long this will take to fix. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else. read more

He has made my life so much more easier when it comes to ordering and building out appliance packages for my projects. He is one of my only vendors who is in constant contact making sure I am ahead of scheduling for multi unit projects. I would like to give Albert Lee customer service a 0 star review. 3 months ago, I ordered a washer/dryer combo set for my tenants, and they brought the wrong installation kit. I am unhappy and frustrated with their customer service for several reasons: 1. The installers said they would come back with the correct set, but 17 days later, they never came. Customer service ordered the new kit but then forgot about following up on the order. 2. I was told that customer service ordered the part and lost it in one of their warehouses. They are unable to find it. 3. I have been calling for 4 days to get status. Every time I call, I was told that someone would contact me but they never do and every time I call, I was given a promise that someone would call. 4. Shelly, the customer service person, I was speaking to had insight into the situation and was supposed to call me back before she left, with status on the order. She left for home and never called. It is now the weekend and unresolved answers for my status. 5. I called customer service again today, and customer service person named Jason picked up and was extremely rude to me. And to this day, 3 months later, my tenant is unable to use a useable washer/dryer set. I still have no clue as to when the new installation kit will be arrive and installed. *********************************************************** 12/10/2020 UPDATE After I wrote this review and wrote to a few executives in the company on a Saturday morning, Aaron Lynch called me from the Lynnwood Store. He was able to find an installation kit, in one of the stores, and scheduled a delivery and installation service team the following Monday. No more runarounds and folks that didn't have any answers for me. He followed up with a nice email with his contact information, should I need additional service. This is the level of service I had expected from Albert Lee in the beginning. I will change my review to 3 stars due to Aaron Lynch. But I am still unimpressed with their customer service. read more

After we called and explained the issues to our salesperson, he spoke to his manager and called us back that we could return the dishwasher. Also, thank you Kelly for your detailed response. ***** Went to Albert Lee in Southcenter for a dishwasher replacement after ours failed. We just needed something reliable and quiet so went to their Scratch & Dent inventory and picked one out. In and out in 20 minutes with our appliance. We knew when we got it that it did not have "manuals", was out of the box, and installation hardware was missing. What we didn't know and didn't find out until we got it home and started installing was that it was used and has been installed and run. It was NOT a scratch and dent, it was a used return with no knowledge of why it was returned, or assurances that everything would run correctly. There was water still in the system which spilled all over the kitchen during installation and could see soap scum in the soap dispenser. Did a test run and louder than advertised and seems to be working, but not happy with the perceived deception. Albert Lee should mention if its a Return or really a Scratch & Dent. Price was not much lower than what could be found elsewhere, but since they compare to MSRP, it appears like huge discount. We needed a quick replacement and they were closing in 30 minutes, so yes the purchase was rushed. This was our first experience with them and could very well be our last. read more

I am so happy I chose Albert Lee to buy all my new kitchen appliance for my remodel. I went to basically all appliance sales options in the Seattle/Bellevue area and ended up at South Center Albert Lee. The prices and selection were good. I did have to do my own homework on on what was important to me in terms of functions and features so that I could narrow my search. I would have liked more of quick list of how the current models vary in terms of options. There was some expected delays in terms of availability but that was related to the pandemic. All installers were absolutely great - professional and through, timely. Even the dishwasher tech was nice enough to give me some extra pens from the truck because they are so great!! :) read more

It was the Saturday after Thanksgiving and I had the best help with Fatemeh Howard. She was very knowledgable, funny, trustworthy and never rushed me even though they were very busy. I placed an order for white and an hour later changed my mind to blue. I emailed her and received a reply within 15 min and a call within an hour. I was able to find a better deal at one store, though all the others were the same price as Albert Lee. Fatemeh did a price match and didn't make me feel indecisive for changing my mind. read more

We worked with Brent Johnston, in Tukwila, for close to two years on the appliances for our new construction home. Brent accommodated multiple requests for estimates so we could close our loan and remained patient as the timeframe from first estimate to purchase was close to a year later. COVID and the ensuing supply chain issues resulted in an appliance delivery months before they were ready to be installed and we were unable to leverage the Albert Lee install you would typically see as part of your invoice. The appliances were already delivered and accepted, but once again, we contacted Brent and asked for options. Brent explained that Albert Lee couldn't install the appliances, but he offered the partner list and then recommended a #1 and #2 installer. The #1 installer wasn't available until Jan, but the #2 installer was available two days later and their customer service and the overall experience was amazing! We looked at all of the big box stores and some smaller ones too. We left Albert Lee for last because I just assumed the pricing would be higher. Welp...I was definitely wrong. Our sales rep, Phil, walked us through buying each item (single wall oven, gas range, hood, dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave). He was upfront about the availability of some of the models we were interested in. All of our items arrived (or we picked up) in the time frame that was promised. Did I mention the pricing? If I could leave zero stars I would! We bought a new house that didn't have a refrigerator and washer/dryer. We anticipated the closure date so we went to Albert Lee a month before to get the appliances ordered We dealt with Salesman Ken and purchased $5000 worth of appliances. Ken was nice and helpful. However after not hearing a word up until the day before,we decided to call. Not only did they not have our order, they also didn't have the appliances in stock. We tried to get in contact with Ken multiple times and we just kept getting the "He is with a customer" routine with no call back. Finally when he did call back, he apologized and stated he would call the next day. Well we should have known better We did not receive a call back and had to call him multiple times before he would call. When he did call, he said it would be two more weeks. We canceled our order and Ken was nice enough to hang up on us. Well if you must go there, don't deal with that worthless POS. We went with Lowe's which beat their price and had a much quicker delivery date. Ken..... you should go try to sell used cars. That way people know what to expect from you. read more

First time going online for a review. After the customer experience today with the 2nd contact, I felt others would want to know before dealing with this company... Purchased a complete appliance package approx. $19K. we had saved to remodel for years... First issue was with delivery. Here was the email we received after calling to ask why we didn't receive our scheduled delivery. we were home all day and never received a notification that the delivery would not be made. Here is the response: Items are no longer in the warehouse. When installs are cancelled, they go back into general population and to the next customer. Presently you are in 21st position on the dishwasher and in 4th position on the microwave. I can reorder, keeping your slot in line (there are 28 after you) but will not be able to move up, these are all orders made before your initial one We took time off work and waited all day for a delivery that never arrived and then we were told that we cancelled the delivery/ install!! very frustrating but they said there was nothing that could be done because delivery was not part of the "sales" Part of the kitchen package was a Miele stand up refer. The fridge failed at 13 months. We were first told by customer service that the 1 yr manufactured warranty was up but we were still eligible for a 2 yr Miele warranty on "internal" issues, but we had to contact Meile directly at the 1-800 #. this# was forwarded to a Miele call center in Central America, where 45 min later ..we were told there was no warranty and would not provide an email or documentation for us to respond to the albert lee customer service with. When we called Albert Lee back the gentleman who answered was very rude and stated that there was no such thing as a 2 yr internal warranty and that we were not supposed to contact Meile. When asked if he could reach out to one of the 4 other female customer service reps who had told us about the 2 yr internal warranty we were told that was not possible because they are all at other stores and then continued to hang up on us. read more

Our Kitchen designer urged us to order our appliances at least 6 months in advance and suggested Albert Lee as a good resource. That is where we met Brent, he took so much time to explain the many options. He made our appliance search enjoyable. We went back the following weekend to meet with Brent ready to order everything we needed for our new kitchen. Moving forward, each appliance was delivered at different times over 10 months. Brent was very clear at order time that a wait for items was inevitable. Normal for these times. We were kept informed as to expected delivery with each item. Shout out to my sales rep Teresa Mazariego who took the time over a phone call to walk over and find the specific outlet refrigerator I was interested in which got me into the store for the purchase. The delivery crew of Billy and Troy delivered and installed the refrigerator today and they were excellent. I would exclusively buy all of my future appliances from Albert Lee if I knew that Billy and Troy would be the delivery team as they are pros at what they do. I purchased a Fisher Paykel refrigerator from Albert Lee Appliance store in Tukwilla last Fall. After Albert Lee delivered the refrigerator, I had Thompson Appliance do the installation and that is where the problems started. Because Fisher Paykel is a high end appliance, that requirerd an experienced Tech to do the installing. Thompsons insured me that their installers worked with Fisher Paykel and were familar with setting up....wrong! A total of 4 different installers from Thompson's came to do the job, but none of them knew how to get the water anc ice to work. Finally, I had a Thec from Fisher Paykel to do it and he knew exactly what they were doing wrong and fixed the problem. Thompsons had more of my parts that came with the refrigerator that they were not wanting to bring back to me. The manager at Albert Lee's in Tukwila, Eric Morgan, helped me get the piece's back. I can honestly say he went beyond what most would do to help me. I do not believe that I could have gotten those parts back without his help. Thank you, Eric. read more

I tried purchasing appliances through Best Buy and the delivery process was awful - their contract installation folks refused to carry our appliances upstairs, even though we carefully measured all dimensions. I'm so pleased I went with Albert Lee Appliance. I worked with Brent Johnston down in the Southcenter location and he took care of everything. Recently my wife and I decided to use our stimulus money to replace the dying LEMON Samsung refrigerator we have only had for 5 years. We decided not to go to a bigbox store this time. Instead we chose locally owned, Albert Lee has a great reputation. We enjoyed the sales experience initially. It was a pleasant and easygoing experience. Thats where it ended. They quoted and charged us a really good price on the fridge, TOTL model. Not cheap. They then promused a delivery date about 3 weeks away. That was fIne. sooooo.... 3 days before the saleman called and without apology said there was a "problem" with delivery snd we needed to wait another 2 weeks. They were well aware that we has a dying fridge at home btw. THEN, exactly 2 days before the 2nd delivery date SAME THING. No apologies. No taking responsibility. Just that we would have to wait at least another 3 weeks. I got a bit angry at this point but dsid ok. Then called the competition AND another AL location. All said there was inventory avail at the warehouse. WHAT? So now Im really upset. Blah blah lemmectalk to tha mgr...blah blah. Were soooo sorry. Blahh blahh gonna make this right...they then tried to deliver us the NEXT MODEL DOWN! So now my old fridge is dead. Then after the obvoius angry blah blah he started hinting thst we underpaid and to get the model we ordered it might cost a little more. WTF! ...and so he "suggested" they just refund us and take the new, incorrect unit back. I wasnt nice. He blah blas apologies, we back and forth a littke, he finally ssys "you know, even though we arent making any money on this, Albert Lee doesnt want to upse anyone or lose a valued customer over a few hundred dolkars, so Im hoing to take care of this gor you!" Wow. A week later their crew shows up with tbe correct model but the had a work order to just SWITCH The doors. OMG. I offered to ket them do this the 1st time and they refused. So NOPE. I want the whole new one. Turns out the 1st on had defects anyway! Happy to say the debacle is over, we have the correct model working perfectly now. I anlm going to be hard pressed to EVER use these buffons again. Not recommended. Side note: Delivery and setup were great, clean quick and polite both times. Hence the 2 stars. Our sales associate, Brent Johnston, was really outstanding. We went in to look for a dishwasher and a range on Dec 11th. We knew the model for the dishwasher but wasn't sure on the range. Brent provided us with some solutions, options regarding brands and mentioned the induction type which we had forgotten about. He was also very transparent saying that some products were being delivered very late due to manufacturers having issues with parts (ahhh, Covid...). So, if we were in a hurry, he couldn't sell the ones we wanted. Since we were (and are) not in a hurry, we said it was ok to wait few months to get our appliances. He let us walk about, look at all appliances until our eyes fell off, evaluate our options and, finally, decide on what we wanted,. He only approached when we called him to show what we decided and ask few questions about the appliance. Total freedom to think, imagine how it will look in our kitchen.
