My first visit, they had mice and rat traps for $1.49 and $3.49 each respectively if i recall; plus cute lil' chicks and poults. My second visit, they had ethanol-free gasoline for my mower. My third visit just a few hours ago, my propane tank for $3.59/gallon, very likely the best price around, totaling $16.16 plus tax. Comparables are $20. read more

Great place to fill your propane tank for your BBQ GRILL. Cheaper than exchanging your tank at the local supermarket or hardware store. Just make sure your the actual propane tank is not expired. Because they can't refill it (legally) Employee are very nice and personable. read more

I go here for my birdseed, and they have a really extensive variety of seeds, suet, bird feeders, and suet holders. The people who work here are very friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable as well. read more

The Grange has been a lifesaver during the "Bomb Cyclone" storm of 2024. They opened up and ran on generators during the storm so that folks could get gas, propane and any other feed supplies. I stopped in multiple times to get propane tanks filled up to run my generators and keep my family comfortable and save thousands of dollars worth of food that would have otherwise gone bad. Everyone is always so helpful and nice and informative! I came here looking for squirrel detergent since we have renegade digging squirrels that pull my plants out of the ground and off my dahlia tubers. I had picked a fake owl and the Repels-All granules and asked at the checkout counter if they help deter squirrels. One lady working told me the owls only help deter birds and other animals don't really care but the granules will definitely help- need to be reapplied every so often and smell bad but the smell dissipates. She then asked two more female coworkers their opinions for helping with rogue squirrels. This helped me save $17 for a fake owl! Thanks ladies!!! read more

Came here to get seed garlic for planting. I came just before mid-September, and they were already sold out of some of their types of garlic, to my surprise. But I still was able to buy 5 different type sof hardneck garlics and take home a handy planting guide. I was a little disturbed to see an employee walk in, maskless, and chat with the people at the check out counter, where I was waiting to check out. I backed away to keep my distance, but didn't feel comfortable asking someone (who sounded like they might be in charge?) to put their mask on, when there were signs everyone asking for masks to be used by customers. read more

They even have a lot of interesting products for gardening, pets, farming, taking care of livestock and other things I haven't readily seen in other stores which I found super fascinating! Very disappointed. Tried to return a tooth paste that I had bought less than 30 days ago, with receipt. They would not refund my money because I had opened it once to see if my dogs would like it. They did not, hence the reason I was returning it. They would not even do an exchange. They gave me some lame reason saying that the specific company of that toothpaste doesn't take things back so they can't refund me...lol what? Last time I checked I was buying from their store not that specific company...they should honor what their receipt says. Must return withing 30 days of original purchase in original package, which I had done both. I definitely will not be coming back here to support them. Their store policy on returns is VERY MISLEADING. And obviously they do not aim to make the customer happy. I suggest to anyone looking for dog or cat supplies to head over to Mud Bay. They will accept anything that has been even opened once or twice with a full refund, no 30 day limit and if you don't have the original receipt they can do in store credit. They are very professional and understanding. Once again I would not recommend going to the Grange for your pet supply needs. read more

The Grange is great- everything you need for homesteading, hobby farming, big farming and great clothes, too! The staff knows their stuff and works hard to provide great service. Truly great people! They offer classes regularly so you can learn about everything from Mason Bees to canning, how to fence your property, and so much more. Their gas is the best and they've got it set up so well that you never wait more than a quick second. The Grange is not a chain, it's not big box... it's local and we need more of that in Issaquah. Their garden section is my favorite year round, they have plenty of great horse supplies, and my dog is in heaven in the pet section. A little pricey but a very good selection of items. Horse hay quality is good. Easy place if you're in a pinch.

My go-to source for farm and feed supplies for the last 23 years. I also go there for fencing materials.

Love The Grange. They're open early in morning before work to get pet food and shop for plants oh they have some talented people there!

Ethanol-free gas is the only thing positive about fuel here (but a huge positive). Pumps say you have to pay inside even though you don't, and are finicky about doing things in a precise order or won't read your card. Rubber vapor guards are so long there's so little nozzle left that it's hard to insert into vehicle. Nozzle stops early and often and is arbitrary about restarting. Traffic is a mess, as Delivery semis (Ace hardware for store; tanker for fuel, etc) block pumps while staff whip around your vehicle on forklifts unloading stuff. Way more stressful than it needs to be. read more

The Grange sold me off brand tendon boots and advertised it as a reputable, well-known company. After questioning an employee, they tried to convince me that they were indeed the branded boots. Their excuse was "it COULD have been old stock before the company started branding their products." No definite answer. No manager came out to speak to me or attempt to resolve the issue. They just told the employee what to relay back to me. I wanted to return the boots since I expected to be paying for something else, but they rejected them because "they were not in re-sellable condition." Guess $50 in profit is worth losing a customer who had previously spent hundreds at this retail store. Frankly I'm very disappointed in my experience and this company's inability to "make it right". read more

Very disappointed with the new fuel pumps. Aside from ethanol free fuel, One of the other reasons I pretty much ONLY use this place for fuel was because it had a separate hose for each octane and now it's a shared hose and so if the previous patron pumped less than desirable quality fuel is being pumped into the engines of those of us who require premium AND we're paying for the lower grade. Also the new pump jumped out of my tank when it stopped and put a nice deep chip in my paint. Bad call Grange. 9/7/16 - updating my review to 1 star because the pumps are still a major issue. I usually have resorted to just holding the pump while my tank fills but today I decided to give a different pump number a try and left it alone while I maintenanced my vehicle. Well to my low expectation the sensitive pump handle decided to stop and the explosive spring shot the hose right out of my tank TWICE, spilling fuel all over the side of my vehicle, wheel, and the pavement. I know I'm not the only person who has this issue because I've spoken to other patrons about it and also to a cashier who just commented about how they'd also been told about the problem. Apparently a problem the owner doesn't feel like repairing since they know they have a local monopoly on non-ethanol fuel and their customers will just have to continue putting up with garbage equipment. read more

I went to the Grange Supply to buy several tube gates. I needed 3 more than they had in stock. I didn't expect them to have 6 of the same gates in stock; however, what I did expect them to do was order me more gates (just like every other farm supply store I've been to has done in the past). When I went to place my order I was told that they can't order me any more gates, nor could they tell me when they'd be getting more in- and there was no guarantee that the gates that were coming in would be the ones I was looking for. Their advice was to check back every week to see if they got any more gates in and if they were the ones I was looking for. That just is not practical at all. I have just never heard of such a thing- any store will order you more of a product if they don't carry it in stock. The sales lady was not very helpful either. I stood in front of the counter waiting to get helped while they talked amongst themselves about their summer plans, she did not apologize to me about not being able to order the gates...overall it was just horrible customer service. I ended up buying my gates at Del's. When I told them I needed six gates they said "we have two in stock, but I can order you the other four and have them delivered in 4 days". Why has nobody reviewed this place yet? Sheesh! I know a lot of people who frequent this place and every time I go there it has several other customers and yet not one yelp review? Tsk tsk, shame on you yelpers. I love this place. It's a tack/feed shop but it carries so much more than that. It has gardening supplies, plants, gas, high quality dog and cat food, leashes, car wax, and more! The prices are usually fair and consistent with the retail chain stores. Staff is helpful and friendly. Bought a dog harness in the wrong size but lost my receipt, they let me exchange it anyway. Only downside is they don't always have a variety of sizes. Couldn't find my size (6.5) in the muck master boots at all and I really needed to try a pair on. Selection can be minimal, but almost everything there is high quality. Can't go wrong, really. It focuses more on western riding than it does English, so don't come here expecting to find the horse show clothing selection that Olsen's has. PROS: - High quality pet food, none of the crap garbage stuff you sometimes see in Petco or Safeway. - Pet first aid supplies, grooming supplies, natural stuff, etc, all for fair prices (only can beat it if you go online). - Helpful staff. - A nice selection of halters and lead ropes. - The go-to local place for feed, tack and outdoor related things if you don't want to go to home depot or lowes. - Garden section is nice. - Usually parking is pretty good. - Bulletin board with lots of info on local horse places/events. CONS: - Yes, you can beat some of the prices by shopping online. - Didn't have my size in muckmaster boots. - Parking can be a pain when big trucks are coming in to load up because they block most of the spaces. - It isn't next door to my house. - Wish they had better selection for some of their stuff, a lot of it is basic. You won't find the fancy stuff you can find at Olsen's here, though many argue that that is a good thing. read more

Worst customer service I've had since the Ma Bell/AT&T break up in 1982. I mean, those guys were legendary horrible, but Grange Supply is a close 2nd. I stopped in to see about making them my new monthly supplier for horse feed and grain. I couldn't find any posted list of available grains, hays, or prices. When I inquired, they wouldn't even tell me what they stocked, and made me practically beg for prices. Two ladies actually smirked when I asked to know the price BEFORE I purchased it. And for good reason, it was a good 30% more expensive than anywhere else around. This place is awful and an insult to the concept of "retail service." You get the impression their really into serving millionaire Microsoft spouses with tacky garden doo-dads instead of giving real service and product to real people. read more

I was planning a Garden Party for my school and Mike, the garden manager, was so helpful! He walked around with me, answering my questions as I picked out what flowers and plants I wanted. He was very knowledgeable and great to work with. When it came time to check out, the process was smooth and easy. The general manager John gave our school a great discount and really seemed to care about us as a customer. The Grange is a great local place to shop! read more

I've been buying horse feed at DeYoung's in Woodinville, but now they're closed and I need a new supplier, so I thought I'd check out the Grange. The store is attractive, with a colorful inventory, lots of stuff, but boy do I miss the customer service that DeYoung's was so good at. There were three girls behind the counter when I walked up, with only one customer in front of me, but I stood there for over five minutes before anybody even acknowledged my presence. A nice "Be right with you" would have sufficed. A second customer after me was confused as to where to check out, and was brushed off with a "We only have two registers." Again, something welcoming would have been nice - these girls can't even bother to be friendly. Since horse feed isn't displayed in the aisles, it also would be nice if there was a list or a chart for customers to look at, since the cashier didn't seem to know much. read more

So far so good. I come here for wild game bird feed (for a roach colony for our bearded dragon breeders) and for ethanol free gas (for my generator and previous Chevrolet Volt--both situations where gas needs to be stored and set aside for long periods). So far so good. I have had no issues with the pumps and don't really care about shared hoses for various octanes. So far so good with the ethanol free gas, I have had no small carb failures on any of my two strokes or four stroke pressure washer/generator. The staff have been polite and friendly however they have also been of few words and not super-engaging. I actually prefer things to be neat and quick so I don't find that to be an issue. They took me through what feed I needed based on protein % so I have no issues with efficient and quick. Overall, I am happy to know they are here to help me! read more
