Top notch!! Loved it! I'm visiting from out of town. We were buying some plants for a friend who just moved to the Seattle area. What a great find! Plants were organized by their needs and care. All were great choices for Seattle's varied climate. They had an impressive array of houseplants too. Prices were reasonable. I did NOT need a plant but bought an amazing variegated euphorbia. THE BEST PART: the helpful employee who not only found me a box for transit, but also cut it to size. When you have great plants AND people, what more do you need??

Lots of plants, great landscape selection for the area. Which is just what I needed, boning up on plant ID. Service was friendly and very helpful. Along with a great selection of outdoor plants, they also have a great selection of houseplants (so tempting) gardening tools and lots of colorful pots and decorations. Getting ready for fall/winter annuals and veggies. Pricing was reasonable. Looking forward to coming back soon, to pick out winter annuals, when it's time to change out my summer color. Maybe add another pot for winter veggies? Mmm? Great selection of organics too. Check it out! Happy gardening and Yelping!

This adorable little nursery is nestled into the heart of the city. Stop by on your way home or make a pit stop during your trip to Bellevue square. I love their gift shop and selection of seeds. Will be back soon.

This little nursery in the heart of Bellevue is a true local gem. I've probably driven by it a zillion times but didn't stop until recently - so glad I did! It may look small from the road, but this well-stocked nursery has pretty much anything you could need or want for the garden. I was there during early spring, so there were plenty of annuals, perennials, herbs, and garden starts to choose from. They also had a nice selection of small trees, shrubs, and bushes. I also loved their indoor shop area, with garden-themed accessories and gifts. Not to mention a great selection of gardening books! I ended up leaving with a few herbs to get my garden started, and picked out a couple of lovely trees to grab on my next visit. Their prices are a little high but, hey, it's Bellevue after all!

Beautiful nursery, organized, clean and helpful staff to answer your questions along with printed signs detailing what type of care (and owner) fits the plant! Hope to come back to purchase more to start my mini indoor garden!

I like many others have found myself stuck at home longer than I like. As such, I wanted a distraction. Instead of weighing the pros and cons of getting a pet (cat/dog fees amongst other things) I decided to convert to getting a plant. I have other plants. They are still alive (to the surprise of my mother), so I didn't mind getting some more. The nursery is one I had always passed by on the 550 (which stops right near it) but never had the chance to visit. But, I have more time on my hands especially to make it in time for its 4 pm closing time on weekdays. At the outside, they immediately had a sign asking people to wear a mask. So you know what to expect before going in (they also have a website of course): A good portion of the nursery is outside (the outdoor plants and trees) so if you are susceptible to getting overheated, I would visit them at times when the sun is not so bright because you will be SWEATING especially if you are spending a long time in the outside portion. I would recommend speaking to someone for help especially if it is your first time there. There would be some sections you would know how to go to based on general signs and general know how (ex: outdoor plants will be outdoor). But to get a better feel and specific locations (especial if you are just a budding botanist), just ask someone (they were also wearing masks). There is wide stretch for outdoor plants and the indoor plants is in the same shelter where you would checkout. The things I appreciate the most from my time is a) the knowledge and kindness of the people who worked there when they answered my questions not just about where things are but also how to care for my plants as I take them home. Another thing I like is b) the signs listing care for the indoor plants. Before I could get attached to a plant, the signs let me know if a plant need high or low light and what window positions would give the desired light. That is how I found out my windows faced south after a quick phone call to my rental office while looking at new greens. This made it easier to decide what to take. Overall, I think this could be a great place to get new tools and items if you want to start your green thumb. If you want a specific product, I would call first before heading over. I planned on getting one new plant.... I got three

Just went on a rainy Friday early afternoon. Parked right next to entrance. Was walking in without a plan except that I needed some pretty flowers that could handle sun and my son could plant tomorrow. I already had a bunch of soil and pots. Teresa luckily was right there ready to help me and walked me around showing options and even grabbed me a cart. No pressure to buy. I was throwing them in the cart right after she would give a quick intro ( these will be good for morning sun. ... These will grow and hang off pot..." There was one or two that caught my eye but she would tell me that they may not last all summer or it was hard to tell what color it would bloom that the picture can be deceiving. Super helpful! I asked if there was child sized watering cans and she said she thought there might be in the back so she came out with 2 options within like 30 seconds. I ended up getting the green can and $100 worth of flowers ready for my son to plant tomorrow. It was fully covered where I was but i saw it went further out into an uncovered area. The inside is really cute too. I saw some great gift opportunities and cant believe ive driven by this place so many times and had no clue how big it was inside and what all was available. I thought it was like an expanded fruit stand type vibe. But it reminded me of a mini more convenient Molbak's with awesome customer service. Will be coming back !

Surprisingly nice selection given it's a medium size nursery. Plants are better quality and condition than most nurseries.

    - Great for outdoor plants -…read more I wrote a review for this place ages ago when I was only interested in succulents. Their succulents are very limited, and they don't have that many different types of echeverias here. However, I got in outdoor plants two years ago since I got a bigger yard, and this place has been great for me since. This place is not gigantic like the flower world, nor is their price amazing. However, it's located in an expensive area in Bellevue and the price is reasonable given its location. They have a lot of shrubs and trees on top of other outdoor plants, and a small collection of indoor houseplants. They have many different types of fruit trees, including cherry, blueberry, kiwi, fig, grape, and so on. They also have rare ones but they are gone since they only have 4-5 of each type. I'm not sure if they keep more somewhere else. They have tons of different rhododendrons with different colors (white, orange, res, purple, yellow, etc). The bigger size costs $55, and the small one is around $23. I've found the same one (big size) at Costco for $25 or so, so it's important to know what you are looking for. Don't come here for common plants, but the rare ones that's harder to find elsewhere. Oh yeah, they also have 6-7 types of clematis here as well. I've gotten several lilacs here last year, and they are all blooming and growing nicely in my yard. I also love their Allium giganteum display around the "fountain" so much that I bought some bulbs and planted some in my yard.

Aside from the service (more on that below), I find they usually have a decent stock of a variety of plants and they're usually pretty healthy, if a bit pricey compared to big box retailers. I do still prefer to shop here because it feels better than spending at a big box store but it also didn't take much research to discover Pacific Topsoils is owned by GRO-Well Brands, which is itself a conglomerate and by no means a local or small business, which I've seen some reviews assume. Service wise, it all depends on who you talk to and what mood they're in. Recently, I called to check on a product and the young man who answered brusquely said they didn't have it, so I caved and ordered it from Amazon. Then, I went to pick up some plants and discovered they had what I'd called about. I told the older gentleman who was ringing me up about the exchange and he somewhat rudely just said, "well, we always have that in stock," like I should've known, not the other employee who should've known. On the other hand, he did put out a call for someone to help me with the several bags of soil I ordered and a friendly young gal answered. She had clearly been working hard all morning but she wa so helpful and asked if there was anything else she could help me with before she left to assist another customer she noticed. If all the employees had her friendliness and pep, this place would get 5 stars, easy.

The weather couldn't have been better... sunny but not too hot, so I felt comfortable without any covering over the seating area. There is a cottage several yards away where the bridal party got ready, and it served as the starting point for them to begin their walk down the aisle. One might think that the main road running parallel to the property would be disruptive, but it's not a very busy street, so you don't hear the cars driving by. During cocktail hour, guests were directed to the covered bar area to grab drinks and the venue had set up some lawn games like Jenga and cornhole for additional entertainment during this time. There was plenty of space for socializing and capturing photos. The reception was held in the Grand Barn that also had an outdoor patio area perfect for a buffet line. The large barn doors at both ends helped keep the air flowing and there were 11 tables that comfortably seated all the guests with about nine people per table. On top of this, there was enough space for a small band to set up and play live music. I loved the string lighting that draped down from the ceiling which illuminated the entire barn in a magical glow. Restrooms are in a separate structure out by the lawn, so it is a little walk away from the barn. Each one has two stalls and one sink. I believe both are gender-neutral. They were super clean, air conditioned and well-ventilated. I really admired the property grounds and the serene location away from the bustle of Seattle. From a wedding guest perspective, I would highly recommend Trillium for your big day.

The venue is truly stunning, featuring a fantastic location, a breathtaking fountain in the center of a pond, and ample space for parking and guests. There is a designated cocktail area where our bartender set up, allowing guests to mingle comfortably. The reception space is magnificent, adorned with beautiful lighting and silk draping from the rafters, plus a prep kitchen conveniently located next to the dining area, making it an excellent choice for caterers. One of the key advantages is that the rental spans from Friday at noon to Sunday at noon, which alleviated any stress regarding setup and takedown. Additionally, there is an on-site Airbnb included in the package. We booked it for both Thursday and Monday, ensuring the groomsmen never had to leave the premises. This was the best decision we made for the wedding party. There is also a beautiful area for the bride and bridesmaid to get ready complete with their own station with a mirror, emergency items (bobby pins, sewing kits, hair spray, makeup removers, etc.) and outlets for hair essentials. I wholeheartedly recommend this venue. Karissa and Tatijana managed the entire wedding with remarkable professionalism and care. On a day when it hadn't rained for over 25 years (talk about luck!), they skillfully accommodated and rearranged everything that needed attention without ever causing me concern. I am incredibly impressed by both of them; they are friendly, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. If I had more daughters, I would undoubtedly choose this venue again.

I was pretty much uneducated on this topic (ours in our home were installed by our trusted contractor). This is sometimes a not-ideal knowledge situation to be in entering a Home Depot (as you can leave with a sour taste in your mouth from an employee talk). But in our case, we got help from Daniel, and we left the Depot with satisfaction that comes from a good, honest interaction. Daniel identified that we needed help, and spent a lot of time with us. It was clear he was educating himself as well, and was easy going as he looked for the right parts with us. That attitude definitely rubs off on consumers, and left the store better educated and with parts that we knew we could return easily if it didn't work. And yes, we learned that these hinges comes in different 'sizes' anywhere from 1/4 inch to 1 1/2 inches, and that a typical kitchen set of cabinets uses most of them.

I watched one gentleman turn into the aisle my friend and I were in, look up and see us, did an immediate about-face with military precision and quickly retreated as fast as he could. Another walked by us, made brief eye contact, and then pulled out a piece of paper from his apron pocket staring at it as though it was the most interesting paper in the world. We checked out in the garden department with our bags of soil and little pots. The soil we bought had one of those easy to open tops that you just have to pull on.
