This place has it all! Large variety of plants, cute pots, a friendly dog, and even a ~unique~ Polaroid wall. I purchased two plants and they are thriving a few weeks later. I didn't see a single fly or pest in the store, which is honestly a first for a plant store. I'd highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a unique plant at a reasonable price. They had so many varieties and species I'd never even heard of before. I will be going back. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the place is kinda small so didn't have a lot of plants, but honestly they make up for it with the variety

30% off this weekend! I just got some crazy deals. & both of my dream plants, a philodendron Strawberry Shake, and a replacement Monstera Albo. The variegation was pretty incredible. They even had a mini anthurium clarinervium for $16! I almost bought it just because of the price, but I needed to chill a tad. Definitely recommend checking this spot out, they're right off Stone and 46th. I think at the moment the yelp address is incorrect. I sent it in to be adjusted but not sure how long that may take.

There aren't too many plant specialty shops in WA that specialize in cactuses and succulents, but Seattle Plant Daddy is one of them and I'm glad they're around. The shop isn't a giant greenhouse like Sky Nursery, but it does have a good selection of high quality plants that you won't find anywhere else. Joe, the owner, is a very knowledgeable person who travels the world (particularly in Japan) to find rare hybrids and cultivars. That being said, the prices are a bit higher than other shops. However, the quality is there and if you want something unique, Seattle Plant Daddy is the best place to get it from. I picked up a few Japanese haworthia hybrids that are doing great and was lucky enough to learn the same day they had a sale (notified through their instagram account). I would definitely follow their Instagram account, as the store is pretty active with posts and story updates. If you want something specific, you can certainly ask Joe if he's going to get that plant in the future. I'm thankful to have this store in Seattle and look forward to picking up more rare finds in the future.

Found this little private plant nursery. Very clean and owner was very friendly-helpful. I couldn't make up my mind because all of his plants were so pretty and well kept. If your looking for a lot of variety of plants then this nursery might not give you all the options you're looking for. But descent selections. Will definitely be back.

The nursery is quite small but there is still a decent selection of plants. The shop owner is very friendly and informative which definitely helps people unfamiliar with house plants. Plus there is a cute dog that accompanies you while you shop

I love supporting local businesses and the ease of shipping from a smaller retailer. In person I'd underrated. Great plants!

They have a curated selection of plants and pots, and in the back of the store is an indie marketplace where you can shop for cards, stickers, art work, gifts and more plants by local makers. It's a pretty cool setup with a chill vibe. Recently I went in to get a Sun Dew because I've been having a slight problem with gnats and fruit flies. Got the little cutie you see in my attached photo for $10. It's been growing real well these last few weeks. Last May, I took a moss art class by Little Orchid Annie and it was so much fun! Definitely want to take another workshop there in the future. Highly recommend subscribing to Fancy Plants' email newsletter so you can hear about upcoming workshops and read excellent plant tips from the owner. It's actually one of my favorite newsletters. Whether you are a practicing plant parent or a newbie to the joy of houseplants, a person that needs some plant consulting or repotting, or are on the hunt for cool indie gifts, there is something at Fancy Plants for everyone.

TARA IS AMAZING!…read more From the start I knew Tara was perfect for our wedding. She is prompt, organized, and helps you develop your vision and the wedding of your dreams. I am an out of state bride, so she really set my mind at ease with her professionalism and the great communication we had all the way leading up to the day. Her flower arrangements were so elegant and romantic, my bouquet was stunning and my bridesmaids all loved theirs. The flower girls looked adorable in their flower crowns too. Not only were our centerpieces perfect, she made the arbor of our dreams! I couldn't find exactly what I wanted online so I photo-bashed some pictures together to show her what I was thinking in my head. Not only did it look EXACTLY like what we wanted, it was even more beautiful in person. It made for the perfect backdrop for the ceremony and family portraits after. The bouquet was so beautiful, I had it preserved after the ceremony, so I could keep it forever. I really can't say enough how amazing Tara is, and how happy and thankful we are that we chose her for our special day. Thanks again!

I am delighted to highly recommend Maxine's Floral…read more I ordered a bouquet from Maxine's Floral this past Monday for delivery to my long-time friend Alicia. Alicia and I have been friends for over 30 years, since we were kids in the same class at school. Alicia had messaged me that her Father had passed away, so I wanted to send her flowers and bring her a home-cooked meal. I had hesitated at the space on Maxine's website where it asked me to put in my friend's phone number, because Alicia and I always communicate via Facebook Messenger and I don't actually have Alicia's phone number. So I put in my phone number instead. Maxine called me and I explained the situation to Maxine. Maxine was very professional and helpful when I spoke with her on the phone. In addition to the phone number issue, I was also a bit worried because the flower delivery was initially scheduled for a Monday and no one was home to receive the delivery at the time that it was delivered, and Maxine's website said that Maxine's floral is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. So I was concerned that if the delivery had to be postponed to Thursday or Friday, the flowers might end up being a bit droopy by then. When I explained my concern to Maxine, Maxine reassured me and told me that they can sometimes schedule re-deliveries for Tuesdays and Wednesdays. At Maxine's suggestion, I messaged my friend Alicia on Facebook Messenger and I asked Alicia to call Maxine to arrange a re-delivery time for her flowers. When I delivered the home-cooked meal to Alicia tonight, Alicia gave me a beautiful Thank You card that she had made using a photo of a few of the blooms in Maxine's flower arrangement. Alicia is so creative! Alicia loved the flowers, and she received them on Tuesday, even though Maxine's Floral is closed that day. I felt very taken care of while I was speaking with Maxine. Her customer service was superb, and Alicia loved Maxine's floral arrangement. I have attached photos of Alicia's Thank You card to me, since it included a photo of a few of the blooms in her arrangement and it also included some of her thoughts about the flowers. I'm very happy with both the customer service from Maxine and the floral arrangement. If the customer service was not as good as it was I could have imagined that these issues may have added stress to the situation, but there was no stress added, only stress taken away. I would most definitely order flowers from Maxine again. Thank you, Maxine, for helping me to bring comfort to a wonderful friend in her time of grief.
