They could have had a fantastic review from a local TV show personality, but not now. I was needing a bridal bouquet a groom boutonniere and flower girl flowers. I got the following rude response. From the rep Wendy: "We have a $500 minimum so I'm not sure if this will work for you if these are the only items you'll need." Terrible company. read more

I hired Wendy to do my flowers for my wedding. I was going to do them myself but after pricing out bulk flowers, vases, candles, and LED lights I wanted to light a few of the vases it was within $100 for her to do them for me. Wendy was great at the first consultation. She understood the vision I wanted, recommended flowers that would work best and included the one flower that inspired my flower vision. When I picked up the flowers, they were all table ready, we just had to add water. Since we were traveling to Eastern WA, it was important to have everything packed well and table ready once we got there. Each bouquet and centerpiece was awesome! My husband and I hired Wendy to do our wedding flowers, and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. We absolutely loved how our flowers came out. After one consultation where I brought in pictures and ideas, Wendy had it down. We didn't give her a lot to go on, just a look/feel and color palette. And the flowers were simply stunning. Wendy was so nice and helpful. She was responsive to my emails and requests to add on rental items. We had beautiful centerpiece displays with wooden slabs to fit our wildflower bouquets and twine-wrapped bottles with lavender. Our wedding would not have been nearly as gorgeous if it weren't for Wendy's stunning designs. She completely transformed our venue so that it was elegant, romantic, and full of beautiful rich colors. Her centerpieces were exquisitely done to capture our red, black, and white color scheme and the bouquets were just perfect. As I requested, she incorporated touches of green in each of them without making them Christmas-esque. She also provided candles, vases, trees (with hanging candles), and plants that added a brightness to the room. In addition to the amazing floral arrangements, she wowed us with her knowledge of the wedding industry; we decided on our caterer and venue based on her recommendations and were beyond pleased with our decisions. read more

Two of my close friends used Wendy's services for their wedding so I hired her for mine based on those recommendations. She didn't let me down, giving helpful advice to stay on budget and with the blue/orange woodsy look we wanted. She also searched high and low for a particular plant that I wanted - no luck since they were out of season but I appreciated her efforts and that I had advance notice so I wasn't disappointed the day-of. We hired Wendy to do the flowers for our recent wedding. Everything was really great! Wendy was very helpful and professional, especially for someone like me who didn't really have much of a clue of what to do. I met with her and she showed me through many pictures and helped me pick out something that would look great. She put together a fantastically detailed floral package that was within my budget. I really appreciated that she itemized everything in the proposal with a price so I could pick and choose what I really wanted. Other florists just gave me vague packages and I had no idea how I could save money if needed, and offered much skimpier packages for the same price. I also like how she was email-friendly, since I'm pretty bad with the phone. On the day of the wedding, the flowers looked SO GREAT and were way above what I had expected. I highly recommend Ravenna Bloom for your floral design needs! Wendy did an outstanding job understanding my relatively vague vision! The flowers were of extremely high quality and the design was exactly what I wanted for my wedding. The day before the wedding, we were in the midst of a pretty bad heat wave. I received a phone call from Wendy suggesting a different flower because what I had chosen would have wilted in our 100 degree heat that week. She and her staff also took the initiative to replace the unattractive buffet centerpiece that was left there by a previous event. Wendy was AWESOME for my wedding! I met with her three times before the wedding and she was always helpful and quick to understand what I wanted. Also, she was realistic about the flowers that would be available for my late October wedding (other florists I considered promised types of flowers that Wendy wouldn't promise in their initial quotes and tried to back out of those flowers later in the negotiations...Wendy was always honest and up-front about what could and couldn't be done). I changed my mind about ALL of the flowers (switched from primarily gebera daisies to primarily roses) a couple of weeks before the wedding, and she was super understanding and flexible. We had a Halloween wedding, and she helped us get a TON of the perfect curly willow branches, which were very central to our "spooky forest" decor. She delivered those branches to our venue a couple of days before the wedding for our preliminary setup and they were perfect! On the day of the wedding, my bouquet was also absolutely perfect. She also made awesome boutonnieres for the dads and corsages for the moms, and my mother in law especially remarked that hers was AMAZING and she loved how well it coordinated with her outfit. She also made a beautiful toss bouquet. All deliveries were on time (even a little bit early, actually) and super quick and easy. To summarize: I loved working with Wendy because she was honest and easygoing, and her designs were beautiful and exactly what I asked for, at reasonable prices :-) read more
