She listened so patiently while I explained the type of vibe I was going for. This could not have been easy since it involved 80% hand gestures and 20% random string of words I pulled together in hopes that she can get inside my head and see the exact vision I was seeing. She asked questions so she can get all the details she needed and after sitting and chatting with her for 30 minutes, I knew she was the perfect person to help me execute my dream wedding. Tara is so incredible. She was so respectful of our budget of $1700 and in the end, we spent just a little over $1500. I loved how relaxed, organized, and transparent she was about pricing and how there was never any pressure to spend more. I loved how she proposed the flowers for our wedding - how she listed out everything in detail and how much it would cost, creating a base that we could add on to with various options and upfront costs for each. I loved how she could intuit so easily the style and colors I wanted and was able to make an inspiration board based off my own pinterest board that echoed everything I wanted and more, from the flowers to the greenery and containers. I had a destination wedding so I wasn't able to meet with Tara until the day of my wedding, and she handled everything perfectly over email. She made her plan for the day and invoice so clear and simple. On our wedding day, I was completely blown away by the flowers - they were so beautiful and carefully arranged. Tara even set up our candles for us and she even recommended an affordable place (quickcandles.com) to buy them from that was equally wonderful. We didn't know exactly what flowers Tara would be able to find in November but they ended up being so perfect - she managed to find my favorite flowers - snapdragons, in my favorite color, and chocolate cosmos, to the extreme delight of one of our guests who had us all smell them - and they smelled absolutely amazing. I had so many guests tell me that our flowers were truly remarkable and I still feel so happy just thinking of how beautiful they all were and how I felt when I first walked in. Working with Tara and her team was a dream. The process was very simple. We showed off some sample bouquets we liked, shared with her what we were imagining for the ceremony and reception, and she went to work building out a concept that kept us in our budget. One of the ways we saved costs was by reusing some of the flowers at our altar during the reception. And what a great recommendation it was! I got married this past January and met with Tara about a year prior to my wedding. From the start she was incredibly responsive and patient. I like flowers just as much as the next girl but honestly don't know much about them. Tara met with my husband and I at a Starbucks for the first meeting to discuss our vision, and when I barely had one at that point in time, she showed me a few ideas based off the few thoughts I had and really helped to set me on the right path.
