The weather couldn't have been better... sunny but not too hot, so I felt comfortable without any covering over the seating area. There is a cottage several yards away where the bridal party got ready, and it served as the starting point for them to begin their walk down the aisle. One might think that the main road running parallel to the property would be disruptive, but it's not a very busy street, so you don't hear the cars driving by. During cocktail hour, guests were directed to the covered bar area to grab drinks and the venue had set up some lawn games like Jenga and cornhole for additional entertainment during this time. There was plenty of space for socializing and capturing photos. The reception was held in the Grand Barn that also had an outdoor patio area perfect for a buffet line. The large barn doors at both ends helped keep the air flowing and there were 11 tables that comfortably seated all the guests with about nine people per table. On top of this, there was enough space for a small band to set up and play live music. I loved the string lighting that draped down from the ceiling which illuminated the entire barn in a magical glow. Restrooms are in a separate structure out by the lawn, so it is a little walk away from the barn. Each one has two stalls and one sink. I believe both are gender-neutral. They were super clean, air conditioned and well-ventilated. I really admired the property grounds and the serene location away from the bustle of Seattle. From a wedding guest perspective, I would highly recommend Trillium for your big day.

The venue is truly stunning, featuring a fantastic location, a breathtaking fountain in the center of a pond, and ample space for parking and guests. There is a designated cocktail area where our bartender set up, allowing guests to mingle comfortably. The reception space is magnificent, adorned with beautiful lighting and silk draping from the rafters, plus a prep kitchen conveniently located next to the dining area, making it an excellent choice for caterers. One of the key advantages is that the rental spans from Friday at noon to Sunday at noon, which alleviated any stress regarding setup and takedown. Additionally, there is an on-site Airbnb included in the package. We booked it for both Thursday and Monday, ensuring the groomsmen never had to leave the premises. This was the best decision we made for the wedding party. There is also a beautiful area for the bride and bridesmaid to get ready complete with their own station with a mirror, emergency items (bobby pins, sewing kits, hair spray, makeup removers, etc.) and outlets for hair essentials. I wholeheartedly recommend this venue. Karissa and Tatijana managed the entire wedding with remarkable professionalism and care. On a day when it hadn't rained for over 25 years (talk about luck!), they skillfully accommodated and rearranged everything that needed attention without ever causing me concern. I am incredibly impressed by both of them; they are friendly, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. If I had more daughters, I would undoubtedly choose this venue again.

For example, they will re-pot your plant for free (if you purchase plant and pot from them). And they offer container design to help your plant placements benefit the most from their environment. These are amazing perks for a novice gardener like me! They also offer delivery which is great for getting tall plants or larger/heavier orders home, and have master gardener clinics on Saturdays from spring through summer. But yes, yes I do. Located in downtown Redmond, Jungle Cat Plant Shop is a tiny shop in a small business strip. We visited on a Saturday and the place was cramped because of all the people inside and how tiny the shop is. But that doesn't a stop us plant parents! Jungle Cat Plant Shop really maximizes the use of its small space, by offering a variety of different plants, with some in planters, hanging, displaying on shelves, etc. It also had a humidifier for the plants inside, and sells planters and some small gift items, like local art prints, greeting cards, pins, etc. I saw on the entrance sign that there's a shiba greeter here I was hoping to meet, but didn't see the doggy in my visit. But I love that it's a dog friendly spot and the staff was very welcoming here. This is the kind of business that's much needed in Redmond and the kind of business that we need to continue supporting! Love these small mom and pop shops that brings such a wonderful addition to the community!

The owner obviously has a green thumb, there was not an inch of ground, benches, tables, and shelves that wasn't covered with her handiwork - flowers, ground cover, vegetables, vines - it's all there. There was even a number of areas where she had free plants that she couldn't see throwing away or composting if someone could put them to good use. We got there during one of her regular plant sales so ended up spending ~40% of what we'd have spent at the big nursery. Great value, great selection, awesome service - we're glad we dropped by and will be back again.
