We are in the middle of a significant makeover of our gardens - moving plants, preparing new spaces…read moreand thinking through how we want things to look next summer, two years later and ten years later! We are trying to get as much in the ground as possible before spring, taking advantage of Mother Nature's free watering in season. My wife and I have visited many nurseries, from Pierce County to Snohomish County, and we've been fortunate to have met many wonderful and knowledgable people at each one. Hobart Farms is our latest destination and our experience with them has been beyond five stars. Jessica, Domenic and Lilly have helped us so far - advising us about alternatives for bare spaces, recommendations on how to arrange new plants in a new garden, planting, feeding and lots of encouragement! We are hopefully close to done purchasing what we need to plant this season, but we are looking forward to our spring visits to Hobart Farms for more perennial fillers and annuals to fill our pots and other small spaces. If only they could help us hypnotize the squirrels to stay away from our tulip bulbs - well, that would be a six star review. Their indoor insulated greenhouse has an abundance of indoor house plants. We are not purchasing for indoors, but the selection they have is amazing! Watch for their Christmas festivities - Santa will be there! Added bonus: After Hobart, we like to treat ourselves to an amazing personal pizza at Cascadia Pizza, at the intersection of the Maple Valley Highway and 216th. Since Jessica at the nursery gave it a double thumbs up, we had to give it a go. Great people/great pizza with the river out back.

It's well laid out and full of so many great ideas. The advice I have received is invaluable and their classes are always extremely helpful. As you can tell, I'm a bit of a novice gardener but Jessica never made me feel dumb and answers all my questions without a hint of annoyance. She simply wants you to be successful. I buy all my seeds and starts here and they've done really well thus far. I just can't say enough good things about this nursery. Pay Jessica a visit, I promise you won't be disappointed.

What a nightmare. Please do not order a greenhouse from this company. We have had too many issues…read moreto list but the primary problems we have had are as follows: 1. The product is poor quality. The aluminum gauge is too thin--multiple sections came dinged up and slightly bent. Because it's modular, each piece needs to fit exactly right so this proved a problem. We were led to believe that it was a locally produced product but the fact is that every single box was drop-shipped from China! It's all in the original boxes stamped "Made in China." 2. We received an incomplete order, unprofessionally delivered, in the dark so we couldn't see what we were getting. We ordered it on August 12, 2020 and it was delivered at 6:30pm on Thanksgiving night, in the complete dark with one packing slip that the driver was using his cell phone flashlight to see. This was during Covid so we were trying to socially distance. They only had one copy of the receipt so we tried to give it a good look-over but weren't able to tell what we were looking at--and it was literally in the middle of our Thanksgiving dinner! We live about 3 hours from their facility and, under their insistence, paid $600 for professional delivery because they said it would be too big/heavy for us to pick up in our truck. It was delivered in a disorganized haystack piled into the back of a small trailer being pulled by an SUV! It would have easily fit into the back of our truck! When we spoke with them a few weeks ago, they finally admitted that it was their own company who delivered it--prior to that they were giving us this runaround claiming that it was an independent third party delivery company! Clearly, they make money on every little add-on, delivery being just one of them. Because we had "signed" the delivery slip, they will not agree that it's missing parts and have basically accused us of lying about it--as if we want to steal extra crappy parts from them! 3. After all the issues we encountered, we just wanted to return it all in original packing and get a refund. Well, they agreed to this but insisted that they'd need to inspect everything and if any parts are missing or opened, we'd have to pay for them! Talk about insult to injury since we already established that it was missing parts and we weren't even able to tell this until we opened them. They also insisted on deducting a 20% restocking fee. This is completely unacceptable, in my opinion. We paid almost $9000 for the thing so this fee would be over $1500! 4. Their communication has been inconsistent and dishonest. Multiple emails we've sent were not answered until we reached out to them after waiting for a reply for 10-14 days. This has drawn out the entire process and we feel like they're just trying to wear us down. And it's worked, basically. What can we do? We have just resigned ourselves to either putting up a smaller greenhouse than the one we paid for or taking a $2000 minimum loss and having to drive the damn thing back up to them. And if we put it up, how long will it last? It's really lightweight and I can't imagine that it withstands the wind/snow load they claim. We read their site's reviews about this and trusted that they were true but it's clear to us now that they screen/write their reviews. Do not, under any circumstance, buy a greenhouse from this company! It's basically a scam.

I walked in here with no planned intention but ended up buying an entire DOOA glass and light setup. it's definitely not cheap (~$300 for the set I bought. just glass, metal arm, light, 2 rocks) but what made it worth it is the fact that Adam from this shop was SO kind and beyond helpful. he gave suggestions and advice on what I would need to get my setup working properly, down to the type of substrate for certain plants. when I was picking out a few rocks for my glass, Adam had such an aesthetic eye for which one would look nice in the environment. I'm typically so picky about achieving a certain look for tank builds, but the two rocks Adam pointed out I immediately loved and got (they even have a sand dojo area for you to play around with layout). He sees the vision and helps you execute. This type of expertise and willingness to help is absolutely what lead me to buy an entire setup on a whim! But truly, cares for your build like he would his own and he doesn't try to *sell* you anything, rather he wants the plant to thrive in the environment created, and he's happy to give advice and his time to bring you to success. I never felt pushed in any manner and have so much respect for how he conducts his work. Huge thank you to Adam! Would recommend this shop if you run into him especially.

Among them, I was very interested in Aqarscape studio. At first I thought it was a plant shop and went inside. However, a mysterious world was created with plants in the water. I was fascinated by the mysterious water landscape. They have classes. An aquascape allows you to create your own landscape within your aquarium. If you are interested in this, I recommend that you stop by here and see what is displayed in person.
