Overall great experience at Oliver Peoples at the Bravern. I had worn OP frames years ago before they had standalone stores and even 20 years ago, they were stylish and used high quality materials. Sure, places like Warby Parker may have much cheaper frames, but looking at acetate frames, the quality and details of an OP frame will be much higher. The standalone stores have a great selection of frames, and Amy, the associate was helpful and patient with frame selection. I splurged on a pair of prescription sunglasses which turned out very well. While the prices may seem high, they do have sales and while they did not accept my vision insurance, they also provided discounts which made the pricing very attractive. I don't see OP as often at optometrist offices anymore, so it's worth stopping by when shopping for new specs. read more

Beware - Untrustworthy Business Practices I purchased frames and lenses from the Houston location and was charged the full amount immediately, even though no valid eye prescription was provided. I later discovered that my prescription had expired and it will be two months before I can see my ophthalmologist. I contacted the store right away to cancel the order, but they refused, citing a questionable "cancellation policy." Corporate customer service has been equally unhelpful -- they can't even locate my order, despite my credit card being charged. As of now, I have received no refund and no resolution. This experience has been deeply disappointing. Unless they correct this and issue a refund, I'll be sharing my experience across every relevant consumer and review platform to warn others. read more

I went to buy a nice pair of sunglasses as my spouse had recently purchased a pair at this store. The sales person was knowledgeable about the frames, but was totally clueless about lens color and matching the color of the lenses to the frames that we wanted. Distinctly unhelpful. She sat in the chair as we thumbed through multiple folders of lens colors, adding completely incorrect information. I ordered the quite expensive glasses from this specialty store. I called two weeks after the order she had no information. She called back and said oh there was a problem with the lenses they had to send them back. I asked her if I could see them. She said no. My guess is they were never ordered. Now it's been another two weeks. I still don't have the glasses. I talked to the manager she was distinctly unhelpful, dismissive, and frankly rude. I would never order from this place. Never. read more

I went in for glasses and worked with Lilia. I told her what other brands I was looking at and asked for her difference she said "we're just better." When I pressed her again she couldn't tell me ONE reason. Charging more money doesn't make a product better. Tell me WHY or HOW it's better! Staff was elites, aloof, and not knowledgeable. I had the most wonderful experience at Oliver Peoples in Bellevue yesterday. I have some old Oliver Peoples frames (from a shop in CO) that I love, so when I got a new prescription I went to Oliver Peoples to look for some great new frames. DK greeted me immediately as I walked in the door. He recognized my frames, asked for my prescription, and asked about colors and styles I liked. I asked for something similar to my red tortoiseshell frames, but more neutral color and a slightly rounder shape. DK looked at my face for a minute, then handed me a single pair of glasses. They fit my face perfectly and they were exactly what I was looking for. I tried on around 10 other options, but that first pair were just right! I was amazed! The whole time I was there, DK was helping me find shapes and colors that complemented my face shape and complexion. I felt so cared for and the whole experience was fun and reaffirming. DK even expedited my new glasses so I can get them before Christmas. Thank you DK! I will be back next year! read more

Before walking into the store i've heard a lot about Oliver Peoples and how amazing their quality of lenses are. So when it was time for me to shop for a new pair of optical glasses, I knew I had to at least go in and see what they had. I walked out buying a new pair the same day with absolutely no regrets. The team there answered all of my questions. They are super knowledgeable about their products and really welcoming. I cannot recommend Oliver Peoples enough if you're looking for stylish quality glasses. Your eyes will thank you! I have owned a pair of Oliver Peoples sunglasses for about 5 years and they are the best quality lenses I have had. I went it this month to get prescription glasses. Made an appointment with Naomi, the store manager and she spent a lot of time with me finding what worked best for lens and answered all my questions. Most importantly she was upfront and if she couldn't answer a question she didn't make anything up. I am really happy with my purchase. They are expensive, but for something you wear everyday it's worth it for me. Great customer service by Naomi! read more

I was looking for sunglasses and I have read very good reviews about this brand. I was hesitating in going to this store because these places can be quite intimidating for me. However, I was attended by Naomi which is the store manager and she made me feel right at home. She was super knowledgeble and was able to advise me what kind of models would suit me best. In the end I was indecisive on which to buy and Naomi promptly wrote on a card which of the models were the winners so I can take home and think a bit more. Stellar service. I don't know which I like more- the stunningly beautiful glasses or the absolutely amazing team! My first transaction was to have a pair Gregory Peck's converted from non-prescription sunglasses to prescription dailies. When I called to ask if this was even possible, "Absolutely!" was the reply. And that just about sums it up...everything is possible. Since that first pair, my wife bought herself a pair- they too are elegant and beautiful. Then, as a Christmas present, I was given a new pair of sunglasses, which I had hoped to bring with me to Los Angeles for New Year. When I called on 12/28 to check on the order status, I was told it would be another week. No big deal. But, to my surprise, at about 11am the next morning, I get a voicemail saying "your sunglasses are in and they look great". And they do. They are really cool looking. The point is someone moved heaven and earth to get my glasses delivered in under 24 hours. Incredible. Shoutout to Chris and Naomi who have obviously solved time travel!!! read more
