I haven't felt so heard and acknowledged by a health professional in years. She's definitely my new OD for hopefully a very long time. Now if you have dry eye issues like me, Dr. Lee will refer you on to Dr. Thornbey. Don't hesitate. This medical visit is highly worth it. He'll take a closer look at your dry eye issues, give you some concrete recommendations, and tell you about these cool new procedures (BlephEx and iLux) that will change your life. I bit the bullet (they are expensive and insurance doesn't cover them) and I honestly feel like I have new eyes. 100% with it. I can't tell you how much my overall eye health has improved since finding this optical. I recommend them to everyone!

Everything was done very quickly. What came next was the not so great experience I had with this business. I waited over 2 weeks to call and check in on the status of my glasses. The receptionist I spoke to was short with me and let me know if I wanted a clear status update, I would have to reach out to their optician otherwise I should wait to hear back. They didn't offer to help transfer the line to the optician or let me know when the optician was available. Another two weeks flew by with zero communication and once again, I reached out to the business and again, the receptionist was short with me. I was able to get in contact with the optician and the explanation for why my glasses weren't ready was that my frames must have gotten lost somewhere... they offered me new frames and lenses free of charge to compensate for the long wait and losing my frames. I thought the gesture was nice, but it doesn't excuse that they lost my frames that I purchased elsewhere.

Best eye exam experience in th 10 years I've worn glasses!…read more I got an appointment promptly, booked online easily. Shop was aestheticly pleasing and the receptionist kind. Friendly tech took me back. Then I met with Dr. Lawson. She was kind & thorough. She explained everything so well and patiently answered any questions I had no matter how silly or small. I never felt rushed. Time to get glasses. Dr Lawson walked me out asked about my style and when I said I wanted to stay within my insurance allowance for frames she said no problem. She grabbed a bunch of frames and gave them to Jessica who picked out more frames. Both Jessica and Dr Lawson looked at the frames I was trying on giving me honest feedback. They were clear about what looked good what didn't and why. I trusted their opinion when they both agreed on a pair. 2 weeks later I picked up my glasses I loved them. They adjusted them gave a case mirco fiber clothes and a cleaning spray. Later when I noticed they pinched a bit, I walked unannounced they helped right away! I've told all my friends to go here for their next exam! I love them!

I had my eyes examined up the street at the Polyclinic and had a prescription for some new glasses. I'd heard great things about Eyes on You and decided to stop in. Mandy helped me and was an excellent person to help find a great pair of frames for me. I wanted kind of a library retro kitsch feel. And Mandy definitely knew exactly the kind of glasses I was looking for, also she was excellent at finding some that fit my face perfectly. I knew from the moment I tried on the first pair that those were the ones for me. I'm really excited to go back and pick them up when they're ready in about 10 days. Again, I really had a fun time. The staff there made it fun and efficient for me to find the perfect glasses. I definitely would recommend Eyes On You.

my review is for frame adjustment. i got my frames at another place (eyes on fremont) years back…read moreand recently had to get lens replacement due to a defect in their batch. my frames sat perfectly on my face for years with no problems. suddenly after this lens replacement everything went askew. eyes on fremont did the "best" they could, but my frames were either sliding down or crooked on my face. we would fix one problem and another would occur. i came in to market optical hoping for some help and i got very lucky to meet Dorey Kendle. she helped to adjust the frames a bit so they'd sit more stable, but unfortunately they were still crooked. i came back the following day and and she was able to figure out the problem and my glasses were no longer sitting crooked. however, later that day i realized they started slipping down my nose again. i came back the following day (that's 3 times if you're counting lol) and she wasn't there but a different gentleman helped to curve the temples and i thought that would be the final piece to the puzzle but HAH, not. the temples were curving at an uneven level so the glasses were once again sitting crooked on my face. cue today and i stop in at market optical to get Dorey's help one last time. she fixed the problem for me once and for all and i couldn't be happier. it has taken 2 weeks and multiple trips to SEVERAL different eyeglass spots to get these frames to sit as well as i know they can. i can't stress enough how incredible Dorey is. she took the time to listen to my issues and was dedicated to helping me fix the problem. she is informative, careful with how she works, and has a light hand which means she's adjusting the frames a bit at a time to make sure she doesn't miss any detail. i thought my frames would never fit as well as they did before, but she made it possible and i can't thank her enough. she was patient and kind and i am so happy with how they turned out. not every eyeglass place is the same and fitting frames to a person's face is really a work of art and Dorey is really fantastic at what she does. if you have a complicated issue with your frames go to her. i only wish i could have paid for the services, but she didn't want to charge me anything. if i could have left a tip i would. thank you Dorey and Market Optical for saving my frames and making them fit great.

That being said I will NEVER use Market Optical again. I paid $700 for my lenses and when the technician cut my lenses for my frames he did it in such a way there were major chips around the edge of the lenses. They literally looked someone had used a hack saw to cut them with. I find it very difficult to believe he did not see what he had done. What is most disappointing is that he allowed me to leave Market Optical with them in such terrible shape. I live in Oregon and had to make a special trip back to Seattle to have them repaired at the Market Optical at U. Village. I had to pay for 2 days at a hotel ($300+). I have been using Market Optical for the past 15 years. I asked to be compensated, which I thought was reasonable. I was given a $100 applied to my next pair of glasses. This, given my long time relationship with Market Optical was insulting. It is obvious to me that Market Optical does not value long-term relationships with their clients. I will NEVER use Market Optical again!! Ron Mariotti, ND
