I typically do one of two things, I either go to my optician (not located at LensCrafters) or I go to LensCrafters in order to find my frames. What i learned time and time again is that the frame collection is very robust at LensCrafters and has become my "go-to" option. When it comes to Customer Service, I had a great experience at this location. Patience as I went through the frame options as well as thoughtful suggestions made the experience all that more comforting. I know you will always get quoted about 14 days for your frames to come in but mine has never taken more than a week (usually less than a week). 5 stars all around and will continue to come here for the foreseeable future. read more

I came in a month ago at 3:30 PM for help with a lease that popped out with my new prescription Versace lenses. Over the last couple of years we've gotten several pairs of glasses at this LensCrafters. The customer service has been outstanding. They work hard to get the right fit and the right lenses. We've had bifocals, trifocals and progressive lenses made here. One pair didn't work well and we learned they really mean it when they say if something isn't working they will remake the lenses. They have been efficient and cost effective, helping us find the best deal for our situation. Most recently, we needed a couple of pairs of glasses to hold us over until cataract surgery. They completely understood the short term nature for these glasses and helped us find a great deal to meet our needs. We highly recommend this store for any kind of glasses. Literally each and every member there was so friendly. I forgot my contact lenses back at home (different state) and was there for a wedding. I needed contact lenses DAY OF. Luckily I was able to make an appointment at this location. After explaining my urgent situation with Barbie, she set everything up for me right away including all my insurance info and gave the team a heads up before I even got there. Kim helped me with my initial exam and was super friendly. After that, Dr. Yares helped me with my prescription and everything was done in under an hour. The team was so helpful and flexible knowing I was in a rush. When I walked in, I also noticed they seemed to have a large variety of frames to choose from. First let me say been a customer for over ten years. Things have gone downhill in a big way. Went in on a Sunday. Systems not working, and in addition my service person not knowledgeable at all. Understand labor issues but this guy was very very slow. I bought a second pair at half price, the system then decided a half was 70% of original price, I pointed this out to service person, the answer was "he needed to follow system". Pointed out this was basic math but eventually only way to get this fixed was I had to have supervisor intervene to correct and finally purchase second pair at correct 50%. Second pair I was told they would text me when ready. Monday afternoon get text. Drive over. No did not have it ready. Showed text they sent. No dispute they agreed was their text. They did offer to ship but I have no trust in their organizational systems. Cancelled second pair will work on finding an alternative vendor. I strongly would recommend to take your custom elsewhere. The optometrist business in same office, but separately run is excellent, just don't get your prescription filled by LensCrafters. read more

Over the past 12 years I have bought six pair of glasses at this location. I have seen the whole tone of the store change. The staff has become rude, less than helpful, and elitist. The attention in the store goes to the young or cute customers, and everyone else is left standing around. I can outspend those young and cute customers, but I am ignored because I'm a little older. They are too busy to help determine which frame works best, throw a quote at you, and tell you to come and get someone when you're ready to place your order. Yesterday, after waiting my turn, I asked the retail manager to help me adjust a pair of glasses. She took a deep sigh, looked around to see if there was anyone else that could help, and threw herself down in the chair. She played with my glasses for a moment and handed them back to me, dirty, smeared with fingerprints. She said that's the best she could do because they're over a year old and what did I expect. Perhaps I would do better if I bought a new pair. Then she got up and walked away. There is definitely a reason that I will never set foot in Lenscrafters again. read more

Went here for an eye exam last week and really enjoyed their service! From the initial phone call asking about insurance and scheduling, to explaining their test procedures to clarifying the doctors handwriting and my prescription....the whole process made me feel valued and I'm really thankful for the folks at LensCrafters for their care. Just taking out a star because their frames and lenses are too expensive, with a very limited selection. I came here to update my existing glasses with the new prescription lens. At the time of the sale, they promised that they can fix the new lens in the existing frame. But later, they broke the frame while fixing the new lens. So, now I have to spend additional money to purchase a new frame and they claim they are not liable for breaking the frame. They didn't even have the courtesy of offering a discount to purchase new frames as well. read more

Came into get our lens replaced on a pair of glasses that were scuffed and had difficulties pulling up the insurance policy to get them replaced. Lady technician with the short reddish hair decided to be even more unhelpful and commented blatantly while we were being helped that we were wasting the service reps time right in-front of us while we waited for the system to pull up the insurance. Would avoid coming here unless you want rude comments and slow service, unprofessional. read more

We needed to have my hubby's proscription updated and get new glasses. The in house optometrist was knowledgeable and we were impressed with how smoothly things were run. With insurance we didn't have any more eyes exams available, but they helped is come up with a solution. After getting the new script, we took it to Andrew the manager at LensCrafters. He was patient and helped us find the most affordable options for our needs. He took care of insurance and was very patient while we were dealing with financing. I was Leary of the fact that you can get a pair of glasses within 40 minutes. But against my better judgement, we decided to go ahead and purchase. Big mistake. When they were ready, one side of the glasses looked as if the lens was ready to pop out. That side was so thick that it was not actually inside the rim of the sunglasses but outside of it. While the other was also not inside, it wasn't as bad. But you could instantly see how horrible they were within two seconds. We were told it was because of the prescription my daughter needs, but we've never had an issue with her glasses ever. Not only that but the way they try to 'fit' the glasses, so they don't slide off your nose was by basically bending them with their fingers and at one point we were a little worried they would break. Even with insurance, I was not willing to pay hundreds of dollars for glasses that looked worse than if you went to a novelty store. The frames may be name brand and quality but the lens/fitting is the worst quality I've ever seen. So ironically, you DON'T get what you pay for. The only reason I gave any stars at all is that their selection was ok. read more

Dr Natalya Sheppard examined my eyes and I was super satisfied. usually, I hardly write reviews, but for her I would like to spend time to say something. She is super professional, she didn't just examined my eyes she also teach me how to make my eyes comfortable in couple of ways. I have a dry eye especially when I wear contacts and I don't wear it daily because of dry eyes. I have been to couple of places for eye exam and no one told me about that. I've been going here for years. I always find a pair of glasses I am really happy with. I never wait to get my glasses in an hour; I don't like the idea of someone fitting my lenses under time pressure...that's just me. So mostly, what I am looking for is help picking out frames that work with my face. The sales associate I dealt with this week...I think his name is Troy... knows their inventory like the back of his hand. He could tell when I needed to add more frames into consideration and when it was time to decide. As we spoke about what I was looking for, he could walk across the store looking for a very specific pair and know exactly where to find them. With such a large selection of frames, this was incredibly helpful. I was worried about missing some fabulous pair. One of the best customer service experiences I've ever had - they've won my business for any future eyecare needs. I recently purchased a pair of frames/lenses off Amazon, and I just couldn't get them to sit right. Called Overlake Lenscrafters and explained my situation to the friendly guy over the phone. He agreed to help me (no charge) but I was skeptical as I had just gone to another nearby optician to get the frames adjusted, but they just shrugged their shoulders and said that they weren't sure that they could help me out. I went in shortly after my call, and met with the same guy I spoke with over the phone. What followed was one of the best customer service experiences I've had at any store - anywhere. -Careful analysis of my problem, looking over the frames, asking questions, measuring lens curvature -Consulting a lab technician to verify the magnification on each lens as consistent -After hearing out my stubborn complaints that the curvature was still different between lenses, he consulted with another lab technician who came out and spoke with me at length about different lens technologies, other options to pursue for my eye fatigue problem (not even sold at that store!) and jotted down a few notes for me After taking this all in, I felt bad that I was not even a paying customer so I asked if I could buy some cleaning materials for my lenses - and they promptly gave me a cleaning wipe/case, no charge. I won't ramble on too much longer, but all I have to say is that the team at Overlake Lenscrafters has undoubtedly secured my business for any future eyecare needs. Excellence in customer service like this is difficult to train for, but these guys seem to have it locked down. I finally went to get an eye exam (about 3 years overdue). I had an appointment with Dr. Sheppard and have never had a better exam. She did all the usual things in an exam but explained so much more to me than any previous eye doctor. She went over the pictures of my retinas so thoroughly (so glad not to be dilated anymore!) and explained what we were looking at. She explained why my two eyes operate differently (one sees better close and the other far) in a way that made me understand so much more about my vision and my prescription needs. She tweaked my prescription and I can see so much better now. I highly recommend her. The manager of the eye glass side of the store helped me to find a great pair of frames and also helped measure for the lenses. She was very professional and helpful and did not try to up-sell me in any way. A very nice experience overall. read more

May be because all my earlier experiences with them, over maybe 20 years, were great. And getting problems taken care of all over U.S. But disappointed with latest one. Happy to pay a premium for really good pair of glasses but last set the screws have popped out and lenses fallen out three times, on both left and right. And weird screw sizes, nothing in my usual eyeglass repair kit would fit. Didn't help that when I picked them up instead of careful fitting session it was "put them on, look around, can you see". I strap them on now when doing yardwork or else they fall off. read more

I had a terrible experience at this place! I went in for glasses and contact prescription. They totally overbooked their doctors. The doctor was seeing two patients at the same time. He rushed my appointment and OVER ADJUSTED my sight! I end up having an over adjusted glasses and I can't exchange the lens unless I pay more! This place is terrible, I will never go back again. Also, this place also took a picture of your eye ball so they can charge insurance for more money. If you are just getting glasses or contacts prescription, this picture not necessary. The owner of this store doesn't care about customers. He/she only cares about making more money off you. read more

I've often wondered how the box eyewear stores have managed to survive, with glasses being readily available on the internet for a tiny fraction of the price. The answer is customer service. I went in here for a simple repair job - one of the nose pads on my frames had fallen off. My frames are not even from lenscrafters. I expected to pay $10-15 for the parts and labor, no biggie. I went inside, and did have to wait for a couple minutes (because they were busy). However, once someone was able to help me, they not only installed replacement pads, but the technician spent a couple minutes making sure the fit was perfect. And when I asked him how much I owed him, he said it was free! Nothing is free anymore! When he saw the shock on my face, he suggested that I might make a donation to their charitable program which helps distribute eyewear to those who may not be able to afford it. I happily tossed in a 10-dollar bill, and left extremely satisfied. read more

I just got back from an eye exam from the attached optometrists office here, and it was quite a pleasant experience. The staff was very polite and friendly, and the doctor was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions in a way that was easy for me to understand. Since it's Lenscrafters, it's a little more pricey than say, going to Target for an eye exam, but I think it's worth it as they did such a great job. read more

I like the optometrist and have been going to him for 7 or 8 years. I did not like the experience of buying my glasses and frames. I've had problems with lenses, which were wrong and shouldn't have been made the way they were (bifocals when I didn't need them). The lenses were replaced but the frames were not and I got the frames because the salesperson said they'd be good with a bifocal. I will not go here again and I would not recommend them to someone else. The service just isn't worth it. In this day in age, there has to be another place to buy frames and lenses, even online. read more

I had very bad experience with them. they sold me sunglasses insurance and told me i can come and get any new sunglasses of same price in a year free of charge if any thing happened to my sunglasses i bought. When i went there approx after 6 months, first they started to get rude with me as to how did i get the lenses damaged and stuff. They are always very sweet at the time of buying and later for any adjustments or anything, they are mean and rude. They told me they can only give me exact same sunglasses and not any other and that too with a deductible and copay. I ended up spending more than half of the cost of sunglasses again and stuck with exact same sunglasses which was already out of trend then.
