They are never clear about all the details in the process. You never receive any written paperwork probably si if a situation does not come thru as told, there is no way to prove it. I felt they mislead you so you make assumptions on your part and again are unaware of actual treatment. They are like a car salesman running you thru to arrange surgery appts fast with vague data about your insurance coverage which is not accurate. It's impossible to contact them to change appointment dates. Some staff you deal with, like scheduling, don't have a phone extension or email. Most dr offices today, big or dnalk, have online portals to provide reports of your visits, what you need to do to prepare first your visut; you can leaves ?s and messages and billing is there as well. Why don't they havevthe $ to spendcon this? No, they claim all this cgarity work they fi just so they can write that off of their taxes worn they don't provide a decent service fur paying clients. I am livid abd recommend going to another dr.

With so many different optometry services in Bellevue, it can be difficult to choose where to go. But I decided to switch over to The Eyecare Center due to its convenient location and positive reviews, which I stand by. It's very easy to make an appointment online, which is a big factor for any kind of health care services. I've been in situations where I've had to wait forever to get an appointment and/or could only schedule an appointment with someone on the phone, which can be difficult since my schedule is very busy. For me to schedule it myself, it's very easy to do online as I can plan out and also, easily cancel when need be. The Eyecare Center also takes VSP insurance. The Eyecare Center is located near the Bellevue Botanical Garden in the Wilburton neighborhood, and is right off of NE 8th street, which is easy to get to, with plenty of parking in the private lot. There's also the B line bus stop right in front of it, making it accessible for all. Staff are always friendly and I always see the same eye doctor. The annual exam takes about an hour with the usual eye tests, dilation, etc. They do also sell eyewear here. No complaints about The Eyecare Center.

Finally had enough harassment by the Billing Department of the Eye Clinic of Bellevue…read more Even though I had eyelid surgery, scheduled in a few weeks, to correct inadequately done surgery from last year, I walked away from this fine medical clinic. Then the Billing Department started sending DUNNING texts to me at all hours of the day, night and even on weekends. When I called and asked for the bill, the clerk said, "oh it has not been sent out yet". The last straw was getting a DUNNING text in the middle of dinner last week at 7PM stating I owed $20. None of these HUGE amounts of $100 and of $20 dollars had even been billed and even going by the DUNNING texts were over 16 days old. The Eye Clinic of Bellevue has lost a loyal (VERY PROFITABLE $32K for two droopy eyelids) patient due these OUTRAGEOUS billing tactics! I have let all of my friends, associates and clients to avoid this crazy place that practices sending DUNNING for bills not even sent out. I can only imagine what they do if someone is actually late.

I initially went to Dr. Coyle who has since passed away and also Dr. Davis and Dr. Phan. Dr. Phan performed my cataract surgery, and I had an excellent result. She is an awesome doctor and very caring and kind. My husband also sees her, and she has performed surgery on him. The staff has always been professional. When I did not understand one particular bill I spoke with the accountant who patiently listened to me and answered my question. I highly recommend them. Not sure why it shows me living in CA on my posted review. I live in Redmond, WA.

Dr. Bassett and The Eye Clinic of Bellevue are who I trust for opthalmology needs. They run a tight…read morepractice taking care of various procedures at specific times of the day. They are understanding and will do their best, and more often than not succeed, at accommodating their patients. I have seen them squeeze patients who are in severe pain in the same day. The particular procedure I have done is usually a two day process, but due to my high copay they have always done it in one day. I may have to wait, but waiting is a small consideration for them squeezing me in for a same day visit. Dr. Bassett is a great doctor. He's personable, professional, and straight to the point. I like that. He's probably the only person I trust to bring sharp objects within millimeters of my eye and know I will leave in better health.

This place gets a very high score overall, but I have to speak my honest opinions. I am from an eye…read moremedical situation standpoint, like very nearsighted, glaucoma etc, so if you are just looking for a pair of glass, please ignore me. First and most important, the doctor. I believe Doctor Kent has a lot of experience, but I do not think he treats his patient with enough patience. He speaks like a god and is usually too busy to share more words with you. Honestly, I have experienced better, so if you are like me who wants more communication with your doctor, and has some random thoughts going around your mind, a lot of doubts about your eye situation and wants to rule them out one by one with your doc, I do not think this place is for you. Then, the not so important but really unplesant parts: The front desks ARE the most incompetent clinic front desks that I have ever known, especial They don't know how to bill your insurance, they ask the questions you've already answered and put in the record. They make me and several people in front of me feel that they don't know what they are doing...oh, and they told you they would take your vision insurance till you came all the way in the office. The equipments are somewhat old, I think they still work but definitely could use some update. The fish tank is really nice, BTW, probably the only thing I enjoyed most there. The bill is definitely the high end, but this is Bellevue, who cares right? What makes me unhappy is when their technician made mistakes on your exam and you redo the exam, they charge you two times. So my advice to you is to be careful on your bill. Unless, as I said, you are sxxx load of money and you simplely do not care. I have decided to switch doctor a long time ago, but I figure I need to say something here. I hope it was just me that felt this way, at least it means people are getting deserved treatment in this clinic. Wish whoever has eye issues, get better.
