Today, my fiancé and I came in to trade in our phones for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, and he also picked up an Apple Watch SE 3. The only thing I'll always wish Apple would change is making more fun colors available for the Pro Max models. The lower model had a beautiful pink option that I absolutely loved, and I really wish that color was available for the Pro Max too. But thankfully, that's what cute cases are for! This visit started off a little differently than my previous experiences. We had a hard time initially finding someone to help. My fiancé first asked a group of employees for assistance and was directed back to someone at the front of the store. Since we had already seen her when we first walked in but weren't greeted or asked if we needed help, the whole situation just felt a little confusing. Thankfully, Richard completely turned our experience around. He was very kind, patient, genuinely helpful, and made sure we were taken care of. I really appreciate him stepping in and making our visit a much better one! I also appreciate that Apple gives you the option to come back later and drop off your old phone if you want extra time to make sure your photos and data are fully backed up. It takes away the pressure of having to rush through the transfer process while still letting you leave with your new device. Overall, we're still very happy with our purchase. On top of that, I've wasted about 9 hours dealing with this place: 2 hours for the initial visit, roughly 5 hours for the battery replacement, and another 2 hours today, only to leave with nothing resolved. This Genius Bar has a lot of bad reviews, and now I understand exactly why.
