My phone is 5 years old and the phone no longer holds a charge for the entire day. Now that we are more dependent on our phones that ever, it's imperative you have a device with enough juice to get you though at least 8 hours before going into low power mode. Doing research, I found shops online that you could mail your phone to and they had the best pricing. My problem with that, was being without my phone for 7-10 days. When I started looking around on yelp, many shops had great reviews, but their prices were ridiculous. You can buy a battery for $25 on eBay or Amazon, it's a 30-minute service, So anyone charging you 3 figures is ripping you off. Especially when you consider as a business, you probably buy batteries by the dozen and probably pay closer to $15 each. Service took 45 minutes, cost me $80. I didn't have to mail anything or go without my phone for a week. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Honestly, I only have one knock for these guys, they don't appear to want you in the store. I would have much rather liked to take a seat and wait for my device than be booted and asked to come back in 40 minutes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Funny enough, I had just grabbed a bite, had I known I couldn't wait, I would have dropped the phone first then grabbed my bite to pass the time. If I ever need repair of a computer or resolution of some problem with my computer, I will definitely make this my first choice. As one who has worked with both hardware and software over a long career, I was totally mystified when my relatively new laptop would not boot up or even produce a display. I brought it to An (the proprietor) and was stunned how quickly he determined the problem (Microsoft BitLocker issues) and had me on my way at no charge. I really like the owner An, at this shop. He gives you a lot of information on your electronics and is very fair with pricing. All of his pricing is given to you upfront and listed inside the shop so you know what you are getting. He is also very fast at repairing screens, and does an excellent job. My items are always repaired faster than quoted. The shop even takes electronics that are old and recycles them for you for free. I trust this owner and I've gone to him three times already for my electronic repair needs. He repairs screens on computers, iPads, and phones, and unlocks computers and laptops. Exceptional service, very knowledgeable, and reasonable prices. When I asked to get an old iPhone 10 repaired, they asked why I didn't want to just get a new iPhone. After telling them that there were pictures of my old dog on the cell phone, they understood the importance and proceeded with the repair. I'm so impressed with this place. I had a non-urgent issue - my son's PS/5 had stopped working. I read online about all sorts of things to try including firmware upgrades from safe mode. Nothing worked - seemed the unit was not staying on long enough to do anything. I took it to A-Solution. They quickly diagnosed the problem as a video card issue - but the video cards on PS/5s are not readily available (and they are soldered down). Their technician offered to try to find a replacement part from 3rd party sources. I said "what if it doesn't work" and he said "then I won't charge you." I left it with him while I went on a business trip. He was not able to find a replacement in any reasonable price point but I learned a few things about them. 1) They are high on integrity and customer service and this is the type of place I like to do business with. 2) Excellent technical skills. I'm not skilled at doing things on the hardware side but I understand the basics and both of my discussions with their technician increased my confidence. 3) I did not transact with them but I believe their prices in the store on accessories were very good. Its mainly points 1 and 2 that matter most to me. Next time I have something to repair, I'll drive the 35 minutes from Sammamish as I'm really happy to have someone I trust. read more
