My phone is 5 years old and the phone no longer holds a charge for the entire day. Now that we are more dependent on our phones that ever, it's imperative you have a device with enough juice to get you though at least 8 hours before going into low power mode. Doing research, I found shops online that you could mail your phone to and they had the best pricing. My problem with that, was being without my phone for 7-10 days. When I started looking around on yelp, many shops had great reviews, but their prices were ridiculous. You can buy a battery for $25 on eBay or Amazon, it's a 30-minute service, So anyone charging you 3 figures is ripping you off. Especially when you consider as a business, you probably buy batteries by the dozen and probably pay closer to $15 each. Service took 45 minutes, cost me $80. I didn't have to mail anything or go without my phone for a week. Honestly, I only have one knock for these guys, they don't appear to want you in the store. I would have much rather liked to take a seat and wait for my device than be booted and asked to come back in 40 minutes. Funny enough, I had just grabbed a bite, had I known I couldn't wait, I would have dropped the phone first then grabbed my bite to pass the time. Either way, they get 5 stars. The price and service were as close to flawless as you can expect. read more

Affordable, quick battery change for my Samsung S24. It was not lasting more than 2 hours on a full charge due to an old battery, but with the replacement my phone is as good as new. Would definitely come here again for future services. read more

Very fair pricing and great customer service. Example is my recent purchase of Pixel 6a phone which they did a complete upload to from prior phone including absolutey everything (much more than expected) as it was like I did not change phones. Then when I found battery was a bit weak they provided/installed brand new one for no charge. -Don read more

Great guy and was upfront about if my iMac was even worth repairing. He has a lot of monitors for reasonable prices and will use him again.

I desperately needed help after riding over my Macbook Air laptop with my power wheelchair! Fortunately it'd been lying face up on the floor, so just the screen side was toast. And even more fortunate, I live only blocks away from A-Solution Repair Shop, who by-far had the best reviews of repairs in Western WA, let alone downtown Renton! And fortunately again, An had a Macbook Air screen that fit may laptop. In a couple of hours and for a reasonable cost, I got my computer back & working like nothing had ever happened. Well, the computer's top & bottom are different colors but I think it looks kinda cool and definitely unique and it's a reminder to me to be more careful with my toys. An was, as others have said, super helpful plus he has a great sense of humor! read more

From the moment I walked in, myself and others were greeted and taken care of with the best of service! They had great communication about the status of my complicated laptop issue and did not charge me extra for more complications that arose. Fast, knowledgable, great communication and customer service. Thank you so much! read more

If I ever need repair of a computer or resolution of some problem with my computer, I will definitely make this my first choice. As one who has worked with both hardware and software over a long career, I was totally mystified when my relatively new laptop would not boot up or even produce a display. I brought it to An (the proprietor) and was stunned how quickly he determined the problem (Microsoft BitLocker issues) and had me on my way at no charge. I offered and would have gladly paid, but he declined. This is the sort of service I seldom see any more, and I couldn't recommend A Solution Repair Shop any more highly. read more

Motherboard sh*t the bed. Took it in and the tech was awesome. Quickly identified the problem. Called the next day with a quote. Picked up the day after that. Exact price I was quoted which was quite reasonable. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable. Will definitely return as needs arise. Great company! read more

My mom has taken her phone there when she has had problems. Shes 87 years old. Recently she has had problems with her printer, I was unable to help so she suggested that we visit A Solution. So loaded up the printer and computer. Within minutes An (yes that's his name) troubled shot the printer and we where on our way. I offered to pay what ever, he said no charge. I appreciate that he helped my mom out and was very kind. Thank You An Gary in Skyway read more

Super helpful! My large Sony viao had stopped working bc of some updating that wasn't obvious. An got me in so I could extract my kids' archived photos. Huge blessing! read more

I am another satisfied customer. This business is the one to check out if you're having probs with your IT systems. An is friendly, knowledgeable and has very fair pricing on services. Also has a good supply of accessories and refurbished merch at good prices - with a warranty. read more

An is incredibly knowledgeable about all things tech, and beyond that his business practices are hands down the best. He's kind and courteous. The service is prompt and reliable. I drive from the peninsula to have him work on my computer. As a writer who uses the computer constantly, it's important to find reliable service at a reasonable price. Cannot recommend A Solution Computer highly enough! Go see An and he'll fix you up. read more

The charging port on my iphone had been getting less and less functional, and I was certain it needed to be replaced. I had already tried cleaning it with compressed air and a toothpick with no luck. Called A Solution and they said to bring it in so they could see if it needed to be replaced or simply cleaned. With their expertise, they cleaned it in minutes and restored full functionality, saving me the replacement cost. This is a great business! read more

These folks know they're stuff! I thought my data was a goner, but it was all successfully retrieved. The person that helped me truly enjoyed helping people with their computer issues. Highly recommend. read more

Saw a listing on Craigslist for an older iMac which had the mix of features I wanted (internal SSD, 16GB memory, USB3 support) for a very reasonable price. Kinda long drive from north Seattle, but it was worth it. Super friendly service, quick demo of the hardware, tax included in advertised rate, and a solid deal for a used Mac. The shop owner was a great guy, and I would definitely trust him to stand behind his work or sales if something was not 100% right. Pleasure to do business with. read more

A Solution Repair Shop - Burning in the new iMac... - Electronics Repair Near Me - Renton, Washington

I really like the owner An, at this shop. He gives you a lot of information on your electronics and is very fair with pricing. All of his pricing is given to you upfront and listed inside the shop so you know what you are getting. He is also very fast at repairing screens, and does an excellent job. My items are always repaired faster than quoted. The shop even takes electronics that are old and recycles them for you for free. I trust this owner and I've gone to him three times already for my electronic repair needs. He repairs screens on computers, iPads, and phones, and unlocks computers and laptops. Definitely recommended, even though the building is a little sketchy, it's definitely worth the trek to downtown Renton. read more

Very quick, smart, friendly, and professional service. Changed out by Motorola cell phone battery really quick and it runs like a top now. So happy that I did not have to buy a new phone. Great place to wait next door and have a gyro or tacos also in the same little retail facility. McLendon's is across the street for hardware if you need to kill a little time. Good people, have one more phone to bring in for them to fix as well. Thanks so much! read more

Exceptional service, very knowledgeable, and reasonable prices. When I asked to get an old iPhone 10 repaired, they asked why I didn't want to just get a new iPhone. After telling them that there were pictures of my old dog on the cell phone, they understood the importance and proceeded with the repair. The motherboard needed to be replaced and they even did it with the back completely shattered. Will definitely go back again for any Apple devices whether it be a cell phone, tablet, or laptop. read more

This is BY FAR the best phone repair shop I know of. The owner An does his best to make every customer happy, the prices are amazing, and I am a customer for life. It's a 40-minute drive for me to get there -- and I probably pass 20 other phone repair shops along the way -- but it's always worth it. read more

I used An and his Electronics Smartphones Tablets, Computer repair services again, WOW, he helped me with a broken microphone on an Android phone, he recommended either the microphone hardware replacement or repair, OR just purchase a refurbished Android replacement phone, both under $125. I got the refurbished Consumer Cellular ZTE Max 11. Excellent top rate customer service and he is accessible on email, VMX or direct phone or inperson in his office. 5-stars repair here. read more

At the time we, had just moved to Renton WA area. I dropped my IPad and put what looked like a couple cracks in the screen. I found this small little repair shop on a search. I didn't know any better and the guy could have soaked me for a few hundred dollars but found only the screen saver had cracked and put a new one on while I stood there. And it was cheaper than I had expected in this day and age. He enlightened me on another few things to watch out for when others might take advantage of my ignorance. Great service and I wish there were more honest small business owners like him. Highly recommended for phone or tablet repairs. read more

I needed to replace the screen on my laptop and discovered A solution repair shop on Yelp. The shop's personnel was competent and pleasant, and they were able to promptly diagnose and remedy the problem. While it was more expensive than doing it myself, the quality of the job made it worthwhile. Also, I didn't have to be concerned about getting the incorrect screen or damaging my laptop during the repair process. read more

I broke my iPhone 11 screen and he had it done in 30 mins. He was super friendly and helpful. Very affordable as well.

Took my phone in to get a broken screen fixed. He was able to get it done pretty quickly. While waiting I could tell he was passionate about his job and was very polite and honest with customers. Will def be back next time I need his services. read more

Quick, accurate repair for an older Samsung cellphone in one hour and at quoted price, with a smile. What a pleasure! The owner, An, is very knowledgeable and customer service is excellent. This hidden gem is now my go-to repair shop for electronics. I highly recommend this business!! read more

I'm so impressed with this place. I had a non-urgent issue - my son's PS/5 had stopped working. I read online about all sorts of things to try including firmware upgrades from safe mode. Nothing worked - seemed the unit was not staying on long enough to do anything. I took it to A-Solution. They quickly diagnosed the problem as a video card issue - but the video cards on PS/5s are not readily available (and they are soldered down). Their technician offered to try to find a replacement part from 3rd party sources. I said "what if it doesn't work" and he said "then I won't charge you." I left it with him while I went on a business trip. He was not able to find a replacement in any reasonable price point but I learned a few things about them. 1) They are high on integrity and customer service and this is the type of place I like to do business with. 2) Excellent technical skills. I'm not skilled at doing things on the hardware side but I understand the basics and both of my discussions with their technician increased my confidence. 3) I did not transact with them but I believe their prices in the store on accessories were very good. Its mainly points 1 and 2 that matter most to me. Next time I have something to repair, I'll drive the 35 minutes from Sammamish as I'm really happy to have someone I trust. read more

Dropped my phone in the Lake, tried to dry it out myself but still unable to use cellular service, facial recognition and various functions. Brought it here to see what could be done. Very fair and honest pricing. Did a great job and was able to get everything working again in one day for a great price! I'm amazed. Great and fast service. I've had two phones repaired here. Takes an hour and super professional.

I've brought a device to these guys 3 times now for the same repair (charger keeps breaking off in port) and they do consistently good, quick work for a reasonable price. Tried another place one time and they kept my device for 2 weeks and still hadn't completed the repair. Lesson learned, picked it up and took it straight to A-Solutions and they quoted me 2-3 days for $25 less. read more

I've been here once last year and just this past weekend bc I keep dropping my phone. Also replace my iPhone 7 battery. Prices are great!

I went in to repair my 2015 MacBook Pro, and have them replace my SSD so I could upgrade my OS. They were personable, knowledgeable, and had fair pricing. They have some established vendor relationships so my part came in earlier than expected, and the install was faster than quoted originally (few hours). You could tell they knew what they were talking about and professional. I would recommend this business to family or friends. read more
