Edit: Updated to 4. Seattle Wireless has agreed to refund me the $80 for the screen they took back. Although I did have to go back and pay $150 thru my insurance to get my phone replaced, they did reach out and try to rectify by reimbursing me for the screen they took back. Previously, I would have given 5 stars based on my 3 prior experiences (2 screen replacements, one charge port replacement). This time, I wanted to see how much it would be to fix my rear facing camera as it just stopped working recenlty. It was a good price, he met me by work, and said it would only take about 10 minutes (like the previous times--great). Everything else about my phone was operational except for the camera. After putting the new camera in and the screen back on, the phone would not turn on at all. He said it might be the screen (he tried my old screen on his phone, and it worked fine, so that was not the problem). He said it might be the battery, but would need to take it back to his store to look at because he didn't have any charged batteries. Long story short, after going without a phone for two days, I meet him in his shop and he says he found the problem. There is a tiny missing metal piece, which may have been pulled off from taking the screen off too many times (he replaced my screen on this phone 2 times prior and was the only person who had ever opened my phone). I told him I'm just going to take it to Sprint to get a new one and was pissed that my seemingly simple/cheap $40 camera replacement now has turned into $150 deductible to get a new one when it was otherwise working before. Oh, after finding this out, he went into the back and put on a cracked screen (since it was going thru insurance anyway) and he kept my good screen (the one I had previously paid $80 to have him replace--he took it back for free apparently). I was beyond pissed--I took my old phone and left. He did not apologize or make any attempt to rectify the fact that he left my phone in WORSE condition and I am stuck paying $150 to get a new one. . So be prepared for that possibility and be advised that WORK IS NOT guaranteed. I will be going through Apple exclusively from now on. read more

I'm one of those people with a severe DIY addiction. If I can figure out how to fix something - and I usually can - the thought of paying someone else to do it makes me squirm. Sometimes it takes a while (there have been parts of my dishwasher lying around the kitchen for two weeks) but I always triumph in the end. Until last week. I was in Seattle for the holidays, and dropped my phone fumbling to turn off the alarm that I didn't need. Happens all the time, but usually the trusty phone case bounces it back into my hand unharmed, even if I don't catch it first bounce. This time, the screen on my dinosaur of an iPhone5 had had enough... and I didn't have my tiny little tools to fix it. I talked myself out of taking it somewhere for days... seems dumb to spend money on something that I've been wanting to upgrade anyway... it can wait until I get home... I don't need to be available on vacation... excuses are my specialty. But my sisters were tired of listening to me complain, and begged me to bite the bullet. Turns out everyone loved a little shop mere minutes away, and I reluctantly agreed to bite the bullet. And then it was done. In minutes. Just walked in there and handed it over. By the time I'd finished crafting a tiny little snowman on the sidewalk outside, my phone was better than ever. It was absurdly inexpensive, and he was sweet as can be. Even installed a screen protector - for free. My long held suspicion of repair people has been shattered. My conviction of DIY superiority - I can fix anything faster and cheaper - has been permanently destroyed. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 (completely cracked LCD screen that died on the way there), a Samsung Galaxy S8 (other external issue)... and more phones, because, well, I travel internationally a lot. Anyway, I searched / called other places in Seattle and was quoted prices that were at least $10 - $120 more expensive for each problem, NOT including tax. Made my way down there by public transport (nearest Link station is Othello). It took like an hour from Queen Anne. And it was so worth it, guys. Alex had already impressed me with the level of service and attentiveness from the get-go (quoted prices with follow-up, address, etc.). He fixed my S8 tempered glass problem in under a minute, knew exactly what he was doing, and told me to come back for my S4 in one hour. Sure enough, I came back to a phone with an *even better* and thinner screen than the last screen repair I had paid for at a tech shop back in Asia. I don't know how it's possible, but the phone works even better now than it did before the drop. Alex was super professional and cool about the whole process, I really appreciated my phone being fixed. The shop itself is also nice and clean; it's a small store but very organized (there are phone batteries, a few accessories, and some unlocked phones for sale as well). My son is a young teen and spent most of his 1st check getting his I phone 11 s reeb replaced. The man in the mobile home business charged him $160 to replace his screen which had 2small cracks in it. Once he got his new screen the touch and sensitivity barely works. The screen cracked less than a week later even with a case on it. It was the thinnest and cheapest low budget generic screen I've ever came across. Now the phone is cracked with razor sharp cracks in it and the screen glitches and you can't even answer the phone. Matter of fact, the phone is supposedly on but when I call the number it doesn't even ring and goes straight to voicemail as if it is powered off. I'm not sure how he is still in business this is unexceptable and he is literally robbing people and kids mostly. He charged my son $160 and we know an adult that went in the next day for the same thing and he charged her$80. Just pay the money and get a real screen from your provider because your going to end up spending twice as much if not more if you go to this guy first. read more

I'm terrible with phones and literally crack my screens at least 2-3 times per year. When I had older iPhone, I found Alex online and used his mobile service. He met me at the gym, my office, subway, etc. He was affordable, fast and always made phone look good as new for much less than the insurance deductible. After losing his phone number recently, I happened to see sign for Seattle Wireless and stopped in only to find it was him! Happy to be back in touch and while he now operates from a store, I received the same quick and quality service I'd received from his mobile service. Most places say repairs take between 45 minutes - 2 hours, Alex will have you done in 10 - 15 minutes and at least for iPhone 6 was about $20 bucks cheaper than other places that take longer. Not sure about other reviews but I say if you crack your screen, save time and money and go visit him. read more

This is the best shop for all your cellphone needs! I had a pretty impressive screen shatter that made me think my phone was done so I didn't bother with replacing it since the new iPhones were coming out. But, I was with a friend while she was picking up her iPad and she suggested I bring my iPhone 6 in so Alex could take a look. Guys... look no further. Alex is professional, quick, and does a great job with his repairs. I've been to another screen repair facility (and a different place to replace my battery) and Alex's job is immensely better (quality and price). I can actually see my screen with my polarized sunglasses again! I'm thrilled that I decided to take a chance and fix my phone; it feels brand new again! I am so pleased to write my first review for Seattle Wireless. The screen to my iPhone 6 was extremely damaged due to it being ran over by another car. I just assumed the device needed to be replace. So I didn't throw it shell of my once powerful smart phone away. However in driving to my friends house I noticed a sign saying cellphone repair between Rainier Ave & Graham which immediately prompted me to stop by Seattle Wireless and explore the chances my phone could actually be repaired. To my surprise, it was repairable!!! And it took under 15 minutes. The staff were knowledgable, resourceful, and quick. I broke my cell phone while visiting Seattle. I had a really hard time finding a repair shop that could see me on a sunday at such short notice. Luckily I found Alex at Seattle Wireless and he was able to see me right away...Literally 20 mins after calling him I was getting my phone fixed. I have an Iphone 5s and the screen had started breaking a couple of weeks ago. Alex is super friendly and very fast when it comes to fixing cell phones. Iphone X screen replacement. 5 stars all the way around. Emailed via Yelp for quote. Alex, the owner, responded right away. Store opens at 11am, I was there 10 minutes early. Alex was right on time. He said it would take about a 1/2 hour to replace my broken Iphone X screen, it only took him 17 minutes. Great music playing while I waited on the comfortable couch. Alex, was super nice, fast, and the best price I could find within a 10 mile radius of Capital Hill. His price even beats the DIY kits you can get on Amazon (over $200). Highly recommend. I have owned every version of the iPhone to date and it seems the newer the model the more fragile the phone. Well, thank the heavens for SEATTLE WIRELESS. I've probably dropped and broken this current phone at LEAST 5 times and each time SEATTLE WIRELESS has given my phone a BRAND NEW existence. I dropped my IPhone 6 while attending a convention at Century Link field. Someone nearby saw and recommended me to Seattle Wireless. I instantly made a call with my miraculously still working phone. Alex picked up and scheduled me promptly! I stopped by half an hour later, and got my screen fixed in about 15 minutes, at a much cheaper price than the Apple Store. Alex fixed a problem I couldn't get another phone repair store to touch. The screen on my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 broke, stopped working. I had no way to access the data on the phone. Alex used my replacement Note 5 and the broken Note 5 to get all my photos off the phone! And he replaced the shattered back shell on my working Note 5. Don't go anywhere else to get your phone fixed. We called a dozen places and got a bunch of quotes. And ultimately, Alex at Seattle Wireless is the best! Great customer service and excellent work. Customer service was great yes it was but the left side of my screen does not work the touch just does not work I had to change all my settings in the phone Just so I can use it also and made my home button stopped working so if you're going to get your phone fixed I recommend you go to Apple unless you want to have to buy a whole new phone like me and the product is not good.
