Gadget Rehab is clean, organized, and has great customer service. I dropped off a package and got a new screen protector for my iPhone. Josh was super helpful, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend this spot!

My laptop's speakers were broken so I needed a place that would be able to fix them. Gadget Rehab was recommended to me so I decided to go there. They have multiple locations across Seattle with this one being near U Village and the University of Washington. There is a parking lot in the back and also street parking around the area. When I walked in, I told the person about my situation and he mentioned that they had to order a new part and would call me when it arrived in a couple days. Well, it turned out they didn't call me but I also wasn't in a rush (or was lazy) and didn't follow up for more than a month. I stopped by again, dropped my laptop off, and it was ready for pickup a couple hours later. When I picked it up I tested it out and everything was good as new! The speaker replacement cost $89 for a MacBook which was a pretty good deal. I think their follow-up on phone calls could be a little quicker and more consistent but overall I had a good experience here! If I have other electronics issues to fix, I'll be coming back here.

This place is amazing! If you're shopping around for a repair shop, look no further! Even on a busy day, Isaac and his team went above and beyond. They were quick, efficient, and kind--and my xbox controller is good as new! I couldn't be happier, and will absolutely bring my devices here in the future!

Gadget Rehab got great customer service for cell phone, laptop and other electronic devices repair. They carry Lyca Mobile services as well which offers affordable unlimited cell phone plans including international calling. GADGET REHAB Phones * Tablets * Computers * Gaming

So, after 3 weeks today. I came back to pick up my computer from these guys. I wrote a previous review that was not so great initially but I felt after talking to both Isaac & Joshua for about 45 minutes in person, it was made clear of my frustrations & anger at the lack of communication from either to be taken into consideration for possible further interactions from me as well as other customers. I made it clear of my dissatisfaction with the way my customer service experience was going from both & both had apologized for it. But there was a fair share of excuses in "why" over how it could have been avoided altogether. Both all in all seemed sincere enough, as I too try to be fair in dealing with people as sometimes folks mess up or drop the ball & it is what it is. You acknowledge it, you learn, & then you do better in moving on. What would have been more in payment was only 180.00 all in all for the fixed screen & disk drive that's fickle at times but appeared to be working "when it wanted to." The computer itself looks great, almost like it did when I first bought it even & is working well as it was promised to. I hope in moving forward from today & the "come to Jesus talk" we all had between Joshua, Isaac, & I that lessons were learned & it's okay to actually check in with the customers that are entrusting their business & property to you. Today hopefully was a start to the testament of better efforts from both concerning better customer service, aside from their outstanding work when it comes to repairs. May consider seeing them again if needed.

After replacement my girlfriend and I started noticing condensation both front and back camera lenses that eventually led to the phone randomly turning off. Tried troubleshooting but unable to turn phone on. Took it to another third party phone repair shop for diagnosis and was told whoever did the replacement left the inside messy and the screen connection was loose. The repair guy was able to bring the phone back to life during diagnosis but the screen was flickering. He recommended to take it back to where it was originally repaired. Drove back to Redmond and explained the situation. Employee said it will be about 2 hours to take a look and will call/text when ready. Okay cool. So we waited 2 hours and when we came back and he asked did you receive a text. I said it was already the 2 hour mark... The one hour device repair guy then explained the screen connection is corroded and proceeded to show a picture on his phone of the corrosion. He suggested we must've dropped it in water. So now I'm thinking, how can a connection be corroded internally if this phone is water resistant and the phone had these problems AFTER the repair? Even so, we NEVER exposed it directly to any source of liquid since the time of initial repair. Even if we did, shouldn't it NOT have this issue anyway? Also we NEVER received any document or signed anything acknowledging of any potential risks after repair. I asked the repair guy what are our options. He said he can order the screen replacement and have it done on Wednesday. I asked him if this was going to be charged. He said yes. I said no. He said call the number for "headquarters". I called and no one picked up. We left and on the drive home the number from "headquarters" calls us. I explained the situation again to "headquarters" guy and asked for what are our options. He said we'd have to pay $309. I said no. He said let me place you on hold and call the repair guy in Redmond. We waited on hold for a bit. He comes back and says the corrosion is from water damage. I'm thinking what is this guy trying to imply? We continued to have a back and forth until he relents and says I can do it for $209. I said no thanks. That is literally the cost of a replacement phone adding both repair costs. Honestly I was livid after this conversation. Not only was there zero accountability from their end, but they tried to shift blame on the customer for using their phone normally. TLDR: Please make sure you are aware the risks of getting anything repaired from this business. It might make more sense buying a replacement instead.

Now the reason this review isn't 4 or 5 stars is because COMMUNICATION seems to be an issue aside from my device being there for over a month in waiting for a battery "that worked" & the internal connector or such to be fixed. The timing wasn't so much an issue as the lack of communication was. It's like I would like to at some point have an answer or my device back after a month. Because if you've got back ups or are absent minded, then they'll keep your stuff for a long time if you forget it's there. Otherwise, communication in actually calling & giving updates would be good instead of wondering if your device is just sitting there or is being used as a paper weight.....

When I arrived, there was a sign on the door that said "due to a water leak the location is closed and to please call a phone number". I called the number multiple times but nobody picked up. I made another appointment at their Seattle location and drove over. There, it seemed like making an appointment doesn't make any difference in their process. I asked for a quote on the repair, and they told me I need to pay a $70 diagnostic fee for them to give a quote. I understand that my personal diagnosis may be incorrect but I don't understand why asking for the cost of a specific repair requiring a specific part can't be answered straight up without a "diagnostic fee" extortion. I ended up leaving the place and will be tackling the repair myself. The cherry ontop was that when I explained my poor experience at their Bellevue location, the gentleman at the counter told me this was outside his control.
