When I travel to Charleston, I plan my day around my visit to Vicious Biscuit. Yes, It's that good, and they're only open 7-3pm highly recommend the "Shrimp N Grits" or the " Vicious". read more

Oh. My. Gosh. I am a true blue, Southern Girl biscuit loving biscuit connoisseur! I was a bit skeptical when I looked at that Vicious Biscuit menu. I was thinking to myself-"why on God's green earth would somebody ruin a perfectly good biscuit with all that mess!" I was prepared to be disappointed and leave with severe heartburn. Oh no Honey! This was the most amazing "mess" I ever did eat on a "cat head" biscuit. It was the most delectable combination of ingredients placed perfectly upon that luscious flaky biscuit! You need to know I had The Vicious biscuit! You have go to go get in that long line out front and make some new friends while you wait! They move folks pretty fast so you won't be waiting too long! Go! Get up and go in the morning! Oh, I forgot- I didn't get heartburn! read more

Great breakfast. I recommend the Vicious Biscuit as your choice! We all ate something different and enjoyed each one. Only thing that was too much was pimento cheese. Too oniony. read more

I meant to give this a 5 star mot 4 star review. Cant wait to return to Charleston so I can visit your restaurant. A friend of mine also came to visit after I suggested it to her. She loved it! Bravo! read more

Gotta live a viscous Biscuit am everything that goes with it ! I love the creative biscuit sandwiches and the massive classic offering - that coupled with fresh squeezed juices served by a friendly smiling staff makes every trip worth while ! Delish ! read more

It's been awhile since I've had this places delicious food. I pass it everyday before work wishing they were open as early I was awake. I just love your old fashioned breakfast and the vicious! I've been craving it for awhile now. Why do y'all do this to me?! read more

Everything here is amazing. Seriously, everything. The scotlyn is great, the biscuits are huge, the gravy is fantastic. Only possible knock against the place is it is a little expensive, but the food is so good that I'm still giving it 5 stars despite the cost. read more

Disappointed. Went in for some breakfast lunch at 1pm on a Saturday and they said they were out of gluten free busicuits. Since I wasn't going to be able to eat we left. I've been to this place many times and love their food, disappointed they can't offer the gluten free busicuits at all times of the day. read more

The person who took our order was very nice BUT the biscuit was just a mouthful of dough. The bacon was good, but I ordered eggs over easy and one yolk was partially hard. If you don't mind getting your own utensils, napkins, drinks, condiments (including touching those serving spoon handles) and paying $15.00 a person for the privilege then maybe you will enjoy this place. I did not. read more

We got here early on a Sunday morning to beat the crowd and I am glad we did because as soon as we sat down it was like a mad rush. The counter staff does keep the line moving pretty quickly though. I got the Vicious Biscuit, cheese grits and a coffee and my fiancé got the Ranchero Biscuit, a coffee and the Bloody Mary. The coffee was hot and strong (just like I like it) and my fiancé said the Bloody Mary was excellent. My fiancé enjoyed her Ranchero Biscuit, but I personally wasn't a fan, so no comment. Now for the Vicious Biscuit...I honestly and personally wasn't a fan. That being said, I believe everything on the Vicious Biscuit was cooked perfectly and would have tasted great not all on the same biscuit. I also should have stuck to what I know (not a fan of sweet and salt mixed) and gotten something I knew was up my own alley. I was expecting a spicy style of biscuit with a little bit of sweetness but the Vicious Biscuit is quite sweet with the maple sausage gravy, drizzle of syrup and the candied jalapeños. We will definitely be back but I will just stick to what I know I'll like. Again, all and all it was a great restaurant with some pretty good food. read more

Always great food never have let me down seating has been updated and they have upgraded the outside. Overall looks and Tastes great.

This is a great breakfast joint! The only downside is the long line to which you have to wait because everyone wants in this place!

Line started outside the building. Once you get in you have to wait. For a table to get open. But it's pretty much just a big biscuit. And for 3 of us was 56.00 . I wouldn't go back. read more

The best breakfast I've had in a long time. Biscuits are fantastic. Great service. Great menu and awesome drinks.

Delicious breakfast! Don't be scared by the line, it moves fast. If you are looking for something smaller, order your biscuit a la carte. The main menu options come with a lot of food! read more

We were visiting Isle of Palms on vacation and a local recommended this place. We came back every day because the food is that good, then grabbed some biscuits to go on our way out of town. The line can get long in weekends, but it moves fast. read more

Must try when in Charleston! Every flavor of biscuit is so incredibly tasty. We have had the chicken pimento breakfast sandwiches and our kids love the sweet potato waffles. Don't forget to try every butter and jam as well...delicious! 5/5. read more

There are admittedly, a lot of biscuit joints in the area, but I must say that Vicious is always at the top of my list when it comes to a casual brunch. Very good prices for the amount of food that you get. The Fat Boy was absolutely delicious and it had very good presentation. They have traditional, more breakfast-y biscuits and then a few different house specialties. Good mimosas too, but I usually stick with their iced coffee (free refills on iced coffee? That's the key to my heart honestly). Great casual eatery for a savory bite. read more

I've gone here 3 times This week. It has quickly become my favorite breakfast place. It is delicious all the way around. Today I got the crab Benny, the lady at the register recommended it to me and it was SO GOOD. The sides are all amazing too. The thick cut bacon is heavenly. And not to mention the honey butter that really makes your mouth water. (Definitely got to get a sweet tea to tie the whole meal together ) read more

By far the very very very BEST biscuit I have ever had. This place is amazing. I wish they were in Florida where we are traveling from. You must go!!! Food Network is missing it big time if they haven't features this place yet. read more

This place is so yummy. There is always a line. The biscuits are the best I ever had. They have tons of amazing jams and jellies and really creative biscuit dishes. Love love love. read more

Hands down the best biscuits we have ever had! Hope we will be getting one in Jacksonville, FL

Although there was a line when we walked in, the line moved very quickly. So many options on the menu to choose from making it very difficult to decide. The fresh pressed juices were delicious and very refreshing. It was very interesting to be able to watch the machine behind the counter juice the oranges and grapefruits. The amount of staff that could be seen working behind the counter, clearing tables, running food was impressive. This helps with the quick service that they are able to provide. I ordered The Ranchero which was absolutely delicious. Very filling. The cheddar and jalapeno biscuit was very light and fluffy. I had never had a panko crusted avocado, but it was a nice surprise. The pico de gallo, spicy mayo, and cilantro all added a wonderful rounded flavor that was very refreshing. The bourbon maple butter melted the moment it hit the biscuit and is worth visiting Vicious Biscuit for that alone. read more

We are here on vacation and love biscuits so we stopped to try them out and absolutely loved them. Truly the best biscuit,s, waffle and fried chicken we have ever had!! The staff was darling and awesome and the latte superb. The homemade jams and butters were delicious and the perfect addition to the best biscuits!! We are coming back tomorrow before we head home read more

The lines out the doors are no lie .. delicious & great little alcoholic menu very appropriate and great pair to the food

Go here. Get here early. Eat ALL THE THINGS. The Crab Benny was amazing with a lemon-y Hollandaise and the perfect fried egg. (I was too excited to wait and broke the yolk before taking the picture.) read more

See all

I've eaten take out three times now. Take out is great bc you go in the side door and straight to the front of the line. I've not had anything I haven't liked. The biscuits are huge and have a buttery and crunchy outside with a soft middle. The sausage maple gravy is spot on. My wife loves the spicy Vicious biscuit. It may seem privy the first time you look at the menu, but it's a value when your biscuit is in front of you. I'm sold. read more

Vicious biscuit although small is efficient the line coming in was almost out of the door but still moved quickly enough to get inside after we received excellent customer service we sat at the bar area with our number although the food came out in a timely manner, my wife's biscuit was over cooked to where she had to cut a third of it off but other than that we enjoyed everything about vicious biscuit we will be back! read more

Do yourself a favor and eat here. It's amazing. I got the "Fat Boy" biscuit and it was out of this world. I don't normally eat at the same place twice while on vacation, but I will be eating here again before we leave. read more

Wow. So impressed. I ordered the Vicious Biscuit based on their recommendation. It was amazing with sweet and savory flavors. My wife got the gluten free biscuit with bacon. She said it was flaky and buttery like a real souther biscuit. She loved it and was so excited to find a gluten free biscuit option. The butters and toppings were so good too. We would highly recommend this place. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. Definitely a 10/10. read more

The Vicious Biscuit was a big hit with my family. I had the biscuit, eggs, bacon, and potatoes platter. The potatoes were delicious! The biscuits were enormous and very, very good. My sister loved the scrambled eggs and bacon. They have a lot of jam flavors. My personal favorite was the apple pie. My parents had The Fat Boy and The Flame Thrower Biscuits - both were very flavorful and greatly enjoyed. read more

Food is so good. What a find. Love everything I have tried there.. many items are huge and can be shared.

This place is awesome. Came to Charleston for the weekend for a cub scout trip with the boy child. Biscuits were on the agenda given the multitude of good options in the area. Tried day one, but it was cold, pouring, and the line went deep into the parking lot. It's a dead giveaway that a place has great food if people are willing to stand in the cold rain when there are literally dozens of places to get the same kind of food within a very short drive. We went back early the second day. Still a long line, but at least we got in the building. I ordered the vicious biscuit and the boy had pancakes (made with biscuit batter). Instantly could tell why people wait in the parking lot for these biscuits. We both devoured our meals and I bought some to take back to the spousal unit (they have GLuten free biscuits) and the girl child. Writing this review makes me want to get in the car and drive 4 hours to get some more. This is the place to go. read more

Delicious, creative, innovative ways to serve the traditional southern biscuit!! I discovered them on a visit to the dr. Now I go back to try all their different biscuits!! I also LOVE their fried green tomatoes! Service is also great!! A UNIQUE GEM!!! read more

Everything we had was delicious. Order and pay at the counter, put your number on your table, they deliver your food. Fix your own coffee, they have everything you need. Vicious Biscuit is a cute name, but the biscuits are tender, flaky, and not at all vicious. And the place is packed every day for good reason. Good food. read more

Incredible concept, always busy and the food and service are amazing! Not your normal restaurant very unique!
