Here at Page's Okra Grill off of Coleman in Mt. Pleasant. I like the large space inside and outside. Large outside Bar area as well with laid back atmosphere. Hostess met us and seated us right away. We ordered the Fried Chicken and Waffles and the Crab Cakes with Collards and Cole Slaw. Food was amazing! Easy 5 Stars !!
Good food and good service! The restaurant was busy so that's usually a good sign. We were seated right away. Our waitress was friendly and attentive during our time there. We ordered the redneck rolls for our appetizer and they were delicious. The sauce to dip them in was also very good. I ordered the fried chicken meal and everything was good. The brine on the chicken was very tasty and that mac and cheese also hit the spot.
I need everyone to stop what they're doing and listen to me about these shrimp and grits. I am not being dramatic when I say these were the BEST shrimp and grits I have ever had in my entire life. I would fight someone for another plate. And the fried cheddar cheese grit cake?! EXCUSE ME?! hands down one of the best things I have ever tasted. Like what the heck is happening here. The bar has been set so ridiculously high that I fear I will spend the rest of my life disappointed by other shrimp and grits. It's actually rude to be this good at making food. The restaurant is super cute, the service was great, and I would happily rearrange my entire day around eating here again. Five stars.
I was looking for someplace hearty and with a lot of options, so I settled on Page's Okra grill! When I arrived, the place was packed. There is parking around the building and an overflow lot. The wait inside wasn't too bad, but the place was very full! I would say it's elevated casual. In fact, they don't take reservations. My server was so kind and attentive. I ordered a mocktail (something with lavender syrup), oysters Rockefeller, a side salad, and Diane's seafood pasta. Everything was really good. My total came to about 75 bucks before tip, which wasn't bad, considering that I ordered all seafood and the portion size of the pasta. I would definitely recommend and come back!
Shana was our friendly server, great service. The fried shrimp and fish were so fresh and delicious along with the pimento cheese grits. Busy busy place, lively atmosphere!
Page's was great food and excellent service. It was a ton of food. The appetizer of okra basket can feed at least 4. It was a little mushy and not truly fried and crunchy. The chicken fried steak was really good flavor and tender as can be.
Whenever I'm in town, I have to come by this restaurant and enjoy some good southern soul food! My shrimp and grits was good my son-in-law's seafood platter was good and everyone enjoy their food as always when you get here it's gonna be a little wait time but as well worth it the staff is always top-tier in service. Even the customer dining were in a great mood. There is no picture of my shrimp grits because I ate it before I was able to take pictures!!
Ate here today with my parents and sister trying this place out for the first time. We definitely tried Southern (aka Soul) food for the first time and it was absolutely delicious and amazing to share and eat together as a family for lunch and dinner before leaving Charleston. The service there was also attentive and quite good and fast. We couldn't agree more about it. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time when I visit Charleston someday in the future! :)
I'm not a huge breakfast fan, so it has to be excellent for me to rate it highly. The food was average (waffle was doughy), but the customer service was really good.

I ordered the bbq platter and it was so good. The Mac and cheese was creamy, cheesy, and rich with flavor. The green beans were seasoned well. I loved the two sauces that the bbq came with! My boyfriend got a burger and fried okra. The fried okra was one of the best I've ever had. Seasoned to perfect! The burger with the fried pickles made the meal complete. We placed a take out order online. It was easy and ready when we got there. Highly recommend!!
After a long moving day from Florida to here, we needed some comfort. We knew where to go. I had sent my movers here the night before and they loved it as well. Everyone from the hostesses, wait staff and management could not be nicer! I found my new favorite dish. The fried shrimp and crab rice bowl which comes with two hush puppies and of course I got a side of okra. That crab rice had a sneaky touch of heat on the back end and it was perfect! The yum yum sauce was also good and I slathered it on top. We also the crab bacon chowder and a fried shrimp platter which has two sides and hush puppies. Everything was steaming hot and they were really busy because it was the bridge race day , but the kitchen held up well to the crowd.. We stared at the dessert case since that is where we were seated all through lunch . So tempting , but I managed to fight it. Glad to be here permanently!!!

Literally no notes for this place. If I could eat the smoke wings and okra and tomatoes every day, I literally would. I can understand why the reviews are so high. SO DELICIOUS.

cousins reunion! great service. yummy appetizers- red neck egg rolls & grouper bites. i had the country fried chicken n gravy with mashed taters n green beans. the other three had october fest foods- weinerschnitzel and sausages with red cabbage m german tater salad. everything was yummy. nice crowd but not too loud. read more

Delicious food!! I am so impressed by this restaurant. My boyfriend and I wanted to get take out from a restaurant and eat it on the beach. This was perfect for an incredible date night. Page's doesn't need my review - but in our short stay near Charleston we visited 2x. Our kids really loved the food here so it was an easy choice to visit more than once. Despite the fact that both times we went, the parking lot was packed to the gills - we were sat immediately without a wait. We sat outside as well as inside - I will say the service was slightly faster inside but that's to be expected. Drink refills were plentiful - we loved the burgers here and the fried chicken. A solid place we'd visit again for a quick bite with fast service. read more

This was our first time eating here. Our server was Adam, he was so kind and attentive. Everything we ordered was amazing! A lot of fried foods but seriously all so delicious. The crab cake on my husband's seafood platter was all crab not all that breaded filler junk you may see at other restaurants. It was so much food that we took a lot home with us too. They hooked us up with sauces to go and bags to carry out. 10/10! read more
Will definitely be coming back to Page's Okra Grill. I will say we were pretty hungry so that might be affecting my review. We were sat in the patio area by the bar and it was very nice. I loved the music they played. Our server got to us quickly and was super attentive throughout the meal. I got a Paloma to drink and it was pretty good! Nothing really to write home about. As for food, Jack got the chicken and waffles (but of course I stole a few bites) and boy was it delicious! The chicken was perfectly crispy and the waffles even had a little bit of a savory flavor. I got the fried shrimp which came with 2 sides (amazing) so I opted for the mac and cheese and coleslaw. I didn't know it would come with a biscuit so that was a nice surprise! The shrimp were nice and crispy and I had a variety of sauces to choose from. The Mac and cheese was sooo good and I like to think of myself as a Mac connoisseur. Coleslaw was good. And I can't forget about the fried okra!! Highly recommend ordering it. They are delicious and come with a yummy dipping sauce. And you get a lot of bang for your buck! read more

Girlfriend and I went to Page's today for lunch. We were both excited to try this place after reading the reviews and reading the menu. Well, I'll just say it was FINE. Nothing special. We opened with the redneck rolls - which are spring rolls filled with pulled pork and pimento cheese. Sounds awesome, right? Well, no...the meat filling seemed to be pureed and it ended up coming through very "one note". Couldn't really discern any smoke flavor in the meat, despite the fact that they apparently cook it in the smoker out back. From there, I got one of the seafood platters, which included fried shrimp, a crab cake, fried flounder along with fried okra and a sweet potato casserole. Again, it was FINE. I think it was $28 for that dish and, honestly, I've had much better fried seafood at several other places in the Charleston area (e.g., Bowman's on James Island, Acme at IOP). Girlfriend got shrimp and grits and it ended up being some kind of shrimp cake that was doused in a sauce. She said it was ok...not great (I didn't try it because it didn't look that appetizing). Other than that, I got a Bloody Mary and it was quite good. Definitely above average. As to the service, the bartender (we sat outside at the bar) was AWESOME. Super nice guy who was great about striking up conversation and checking on us frequently. FIVE STARS when it came to service. In conclusion, this place is just ok. My suspicion is that it gets such great ratings primarily because of the number of tourists who come here and don't realize that there are so many better options available. They are good for a reason. If you haven't taken the opportunity I recommend dining at Page's Okra Grill. I arrived for breakfast and I was not disappointed. The service was fast and friendly, the food played well but was also tasty. The portions were huge so bring your appetite. The restaurant itself has a lot of seating and I chuckled a bit because it reminded me of Jam Eateries here in Maryland which I enjoy quite a bit. That similarity appeared which having parties with small children as you are relocated from the main dining area. You may view this good or bad but it does allow for a bit of privacy for your group and comfort to the guests in the crowded main area. Pages Okra grill is a southern staple. I have come for breakfast, lunch and dinner- I've even picked up take out orders! Their lively, down to earth atmosphere has locals and visitors coming back frequently. Oh, let's not forget their iconic brunch and huge Bloody Marys. During peak season this place can get PACKED. Best to get there early. But don't forget to take a photo on the iconic chair. The service is always top-notch - they take care of you and remind you what southern charm is about. They serve tons of southern classics from the beloved shrimp and grits, to fried chicken and waffles. The food is consistent and reasonably priced. Our family was in Charleston for 5 days and we went here twice! Once for dinner and second for breakfast. Dinner was great! Me and my sister split the Fried Chicken dinner and it was plenty of food and delicious. My mom got the fried okra and the beignets! Those were delicious! Breakfast was great too! I got the Steak and Hash Bowl and it wasn't quite what I expected, but my mistake on what I ordered. My mom and sister's breakfast was delicious! Both visits our service was great. Our servers were excellent and one of them was from Ohio so that was great to have something in common. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend who insisted we would not be disappointed. My sister and I went on our first day, and our server was Trad. He was the best, and patiently answered our questions about the food. He was spot on! We had the seafood platter, which had shrimp, crab cake and flounder, 2 sides and the CORNBREAD (get that) The restaurant is family friendly, with seating outside and inside.. everyone was friendly, and welcoming.. You just cannot go wrong here!! We've eaten at several other places here, but, Page's is the best we've had. read more

I had the pleasure of having lunch here and I wasn't disappointed one bit. I got the fried chicken and the batter on it was phenomenal. My daughters got the cinnamon waffles and the fried pork chops and both of those dishes were great. Our waitress Celeste was amazing! We also had the pleasure of meeting Dom and Candie whom I think works in the kitchen. Everyone was just amazing. That alone made the visit for us. Even on a rainy Sunday this place still pulled in a crowd. I ordered the Salmon Benedict. The salmon was done perfectly at medium like I asked. The eggs were also nicely poached. They did overdue the hollandaise sauce though which caused the eggs and sauce to be next to the salmon instead of on it. Presentation was not the best but it tasted good. I asked for the home fries crispy and they came out perfect. There is alot of outside seating available that was enclosed due to the rain but must be beautiful to sit out at when it's nice except there is a lot of traffic going by. Oh, and there is lots of free parking!!! It's a solid restaurant. I would go back next time I'm in town. read more

Page's Okra Grill was a great place to eat at, especially if you have a family. This place is super big, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is super nice, offering recommendations and checking in regularly. I got the country fried steak. It was well friend and had great flavor. I also got butter beans and the pimento cheese grits as my sides. The grits were my favorite thing I had, I really liked the texture and flavor of the grits. My friend had the grilled mahi fillet sandwich. She said it was well cooked and well seasoned. She got the Mac and cheese and that was her fav part of the meal. The Mac and cheese was super cheesy was the best side! read more
