    Page's Okra Grill!!

Here at Page's Okra Grill off of Coleman in Mt. Pleasant. I like the large space inside and outside. Large outside Bar area as well with laid back atmosphere. Hostess met us and seated us right away. We ordered the Fried Chicken and Waffles and the Crab Cakes with Collards and Cole Slaw. Food was amazing! Easy 5 Stars !!

I was looking for someplace hearty and with a lot of options, so I settled on Page's Okra grill! When I arrived, the place was packed. There is parking around the building and an overflow lot. The wait inside wasn't too bad, but the place was very full! I would say it's elevated casual. In fact, they don't take reservations. My server was so kind and attentive. I ordered a mocktail (something with lavender syrup), oysters Rockefeller, a side salad, and Diane's seafood pasta. Everything was really good. My total came to about 75 bucks before tip, which wasn't bad, considering that I ordered all seafood and the portion size of the pasta. I would definitely recommend and come back!

Good food and good service! The restaurant was busy so that's usually a good sign. We were seated right away. Our waitress was friendly and attentive during our time there. We ordered the redneck rolls for our appetizer and they were delicious. The sauce to dip them in was also very good. I ordered the fried chicken meal and everything was good. The brine on the chicken was very tasty and that mac and cheese also hit the spot.

Ashleigh's shrimp and grits were absolutely amazing! We loved them so much that we had to come back the very next day for lunch before leaving Charleston. Everything we had was delicious, and the service was wonderful too. Our waitress was incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive. Definitely a must try!

Shana was our friendly server, great service. The fried shrimp and fish were so fresh and delicious along with the pimento cheese grits. Busy busy place, lively atmosphere!

Whenever I'm in town, I have to come by this restaurant and enjoy some good southern soul food! My shrimp and grits was good my son-in-law's seafood platter was good and everyone enjoy their food as always when you get here it's gonna be a little wait time but as well worth it the staff is always top-tier in service. Even the customer dining were in a great mood. There is no picture of my shrimp grits because I ate it before I was able to take pictures!!

Ate here today with my parents and sister trying this place out for the first time. We definitely tried Southern (aka Soul) food for the first time and it was absolutely delicious and amazing to share and eat together as a family for lunch and dinner before leaving Charleston. The service there was also attentive and quite good and fast. We couldn't agree more about it. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time when I visit Charleston someday in the future! :)

I'm not a huge breakfast fan, so it has to be excellent for me to rate it highly. The food was average (waffle was doughy), but the customer service was really good.

Delicious food!! I am so impressed by this restaurant. My boyfriend and I wanted to get take out from a restaurant and eat it on the beach. This was perfect for an incredible date night. I ordered the bbq platter and it was so good. The Mac and cheese was creamy, cheesy, and rich with flavor. The green beans were seasoned well. I loved the two sauces that the bbq came with! My boyfriend got a burger and fried okra. The fried okra was one of the best I've ever had. Seasoned to perfect! The burger with the fried pickles made the meal complete. We placed a take out order online. It was easy and ready when we got there. Highly recommend!!

Literally no notes for this place. If I could eat the smoke wings and okra and tomatoes every day, I literally would. I can understand why the reviews are so high. SO DELICIOUS.

After a long moving day from Florida to here, we needed some comfort. We knew where to go. I had sent my movers here the night before and they loved it as well. Everyone from the hostesses, wait staff and management could not be nicer! I found my new favorite dish. The fried shrimp and crab rice bowl which comes with two hush puppies and of course I got a side of okra. That crab rice had a sneaky touch of heat on the back end and it was perfect! The yum yum sauce was also good and I slathered it on top. We also the crab bacon chowder and a fried shrimp platter which has two sides and hush puppies. Everything was steaming hot and they were really busy because it was the bridge race day , but the kitchen held up well to the crowd.. We stared at the dessert case since that is where we were seated all through lunch . So tempting , but I managed to fight it. Glad to be here permanently!!!

Page's doesn't need my review - but in our short stay near Charleston we visited 2x. Our kids really loved the food here so it was an easy choice to visit more than once. Despite the fact that both times we went, the parking lot was packed to the gills - we were sat immediately without a wait. We sat outside as well as inside - I will say the service was slightly faster inside but that's to be expected. Drink refills were plentiful - we loved the burgers here and the fried chicken. A solid place we'd visit again for a quick bite with fast service.

Great food at a little local favorite. We had the beignets at an event and definitely wanted to try the restaurant. I had their famous shrimp and grits, she had flounder. All good and definitely a spot to return to.

The interior has humorous things…read moreon the wall, dollar bills signed and stapled to the bar, and a great vibe in a very clean environment. We had to try the Apple Pie shots since everyone seems to talk about them. This is way more complex than some apple flavor liquor. The ingredients take some prep work, and the result is something that literally tastes like apple pie. If they bottled this, I would definitely buy it. They have two specialty drinks, the Freshy and the Orange Crush, both of which are made with fresh squeezed juice squeezed right when you order. I had the Freshy which is orange or grapefruit juice with your favorite liquor. I chose grapefruit with vodka and even though I am not a huge fan of grapefruit the freshness and tartness of the drink made it quite enjoyable. My wife had the Orange Crush with Deep Eddy's O.J vodka, Triple Sec, Sprite and some of that fresh squeezed orange juice. It was nice and sweet which was good since we were ordering a lot of savory options. The Potato Skins arrived first and they were truly impressive. Good sized skins with the perfect amount of potato, not too thick or too dry and definitely homemade. They had mixed cheese, bacon and green onions served with sour cream also loaded with green onions. As far as all the potato skins I have had these were a standout. Next came the onion rings with an absolute massive serving for just eight dollars. You could tell they were homemade and served with a chili garlic sauce. The best part was the batter coating which was crispy yet didn't fall off when bent or bitten. They reheated nicely in the air fryer. Next, we tried the Toasted Raviolis which were filled with Italian sausage and served with a house made marinara. They were nice and crispy, but the true star was the marinara sauce which was thick and chunky with parmesan mixed all throughout. I wish they had more dishes that used this sauce as it was excellent. On the advice of some regulars, I tried the chicken fingers which were all breast meat, dill brined and hand battered. It was good advice since the chicken was juicy and tender with a flavorful coating. Sometimes it pays to ask. My wife ordered the thing they are known for their Philly Cheesesteak. She decided on double meat, and they were super generous to the point she looked at me and said, "I don't know how I am going to finish this!". This cheesesteak gets nominate for a lot of best of lists and I could see why. I liked that the cheese was mixed in with the meat and not just poured on top. She enjoyed it but said next time she will order it as is. This is a great place to hang out and relax and maybe catch a band or some bluegrass and enjoy a great meal!

Happily, I was wrong! Everything went extremely well from the check-in experience, to the food, and the service. Our reservation was for 6:30pm but we got there a full hour early. They gave us a table immediately, no problem. Our server was Maisie and she was wonderful. Patient. Attentive. Super friendly. We ordered drinks and the Pimento Cheese Fritters. They were incredible! We also tried the She Crab Bisque and it was over the top! Delicious and full of lump crab meat. When Maisie brought us our first plates, she asked us if we were considering the pork chop, which is exactly what we were interested in. She said there were only two left and held one for us. This is the kind of excellent service she provided throughout the meal. The pork chop was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy with a wonderful wood smoked flavor. The whipped potatoes and roasted heirloom baby carrots were the perfect accompaniment. Nothing has changed inside or out since my last visit. The vibe is Charleston laid back and comfortable. And then the entrees - hubby got the shrimp and grits, that's usually my dish but I was glad he got it so I could taste. I got the fried chicken, with hoppin John over white rice, and collards. So good! And I wasn't even hungry but I had to test the "award winning" and "famous" labels on our dishes. The chicken is a huge serving - 4 pieces of juicy, tasty chicken - an entire quarter. The hoppin John was good - I just wish there were more hoppin John and less rice. Service was 5 star. Donte was a real treat and looked after us well. For dessert, I was hoping for bread pudding, but it wasn't on the menu, and everyone in the dining room was ordering the banana pudding so we got that to share. It is a large serving, enough for two. The presentation was cute, the taste was regular, and I didn't taste a hint of alcohol (it was a bourbon or some other alcohol).
