Breakfast food favorite! Andrew was our server. Not only was he personable, he gave great recommendations!!! Very prompt service too. Absolutely loved the Blood Marys! We had the Classic and the Diablo. The corned beef with eggs was amazing and the beignets were delicious with the fruit compote. I would definitely recommend a brunch or breakfast. The food was fantastic!!

From the minute we were greeted at the entrance, we knew this experience would be phenomenal. Dejaniece was so vibrant and welcoming and asked us about our travels. We were then handed off to our server Vickie who was also a hoot! The food and drinks were delicious and I wish I lived closer to experience this more frequently!

It was definitely one of the best burgers I've had in a while! Thank you Nicole! And ambiance was amazing! Everything was perfect!

Toast All Day was a nice brunch spot for a dreary Sunday afternoon. Our group started with the Beignets and "Pig Candy" (candied bacon). The Beignets were pretty standard, nothing new, but even average Beignets are delicious. The Pig Candy was great, sweet and savory with a little spice. For my meal, I had the Caroline omelette, which was also pretty average. I wish the egg and cheese had more flavor, but the home fries made up for it. The crispiest home fries I've had in awhile, everyone in the group were big fans. I also tried a bit of the Biscuits & Gravy my sister ordered, and they were also great, even if we didn't have the appetite to finish them off. It wasn't particularly busy, but the service was still sort of slow. They seemed to be training people while we were there, so that may have been why. Our waitress was super friendly though, and once our food order got in, everything came out quick. The interior of the restaurant is the typical modern breakfast joint style, but clean and well-kept.

We absolutely love Toast for a friends get together brunch. They have great service and are always accommodating. Some of their menu options and mimosas for the table are fantastic. We have never had a bad option! Mount Pleasant has grown so much in recent years and I would say if you are a tourist or not from the area this is the place to visit for a wonderful breakfast. Locals know local spots, but as a local that grew up here I also love this location. So take it from me that it is worth a visit!

Eggs Benedict over crab cake and fried green tomatoes (Single Meeting), Shrimp & Grits

Put this on your list of places to go in Charleston! Has a great menu, representative of the best of southern ingredients and cooking! We had an excellent brunch, the Bloody Mary's were spot on (kicked up as requested) Shrimp and Grits and Eggs Benedict over crab cake and fried green tomatoes were all perfectly cooked, seasoned and presented! We had amazing service - even though they were busy and there was a bit of a wait to order, the food came out quick!

Oooooh this was a rough one. A friend of mine organized a birthday brunch for my brother and his GF for maybe 12 of us. I actually went to the other Mt Pleasant Toast by accident and found it packed with a wait. I figured I'd see the same thing here, but there was only a few tables which was surprising for a Sunday at prime brunch time. When I did arrive our group was hanging at the bar while they were getting the table together. We sat down and right away the guy serving us said he would start with everyone's food orders because people had drinks from the bar and then he would come back for drinks. I've never seen anyone do something like that. A few people had drinks, but some did not (like myself who had just walked in). Someone didn't hear and tried to order a drink and he shut her down and said he was only doing food at the moment... insane. One guy had to leave and paid for his tab and the three people next to him before he left. I ordered a pitcher of Mimosas and didn't even get it until after my food came out. Speaking of which, as he came to the table with food, he was just calling out names of dishes and setting them down in front of people. Things were wrong and instead of apologizing he muttered things under his breath to talk down on our group. The food did come out quickly, but everything was bland. The grits were downright embarrassing to be served in the south. This guy was one of the worst servers I've ever encountered. He was wildly rude and just doesn't even belong in the industry if that's how his is on a regular basis. To finish things up, we started getting checks. We reminded our server that the guy who left paid for a few peoples tabs. He didn't believe us and had a manager come over who eventually figured it out. The girl who rang him out was actually the hostess (she had a handheld credit card machine at the table so we didn't realized she wasn't one of our servers). The hostess then left without telling anyone that 4 people were already paid for. It was only resolved with multiple phone calls and getting the guy on the phone and verifying the charge on his bank account. The manager was very nice and she was really trying to turn our celebration around. She got us a round of shots before we left and her personality was the only reason I would consider coming back after the experience we had with our server.

Absolutely amazing , ribeye steak, fried green tomatoes Mimosa's and corned beef hash , it's a must the service is also as good as the meal

This was one of the best meals and service, Elaina is great , we were a party of 12 and the meals came out perfect the server was great and the manager was friendly, I recommend the toast restaurant

The absolute best thing about our first experience at Toast! All Day was our server Andrew He was attentive, helpful, and kind. Our food came out quickly and our orders were correct. The stuffed French toast was delicious but rich! The chicken biscuit sounded better on the menu description than it actually was. The chicken and waffles was pretty good. I think you can't go wrong with the benedicts. The pimento cheese lacked flavor and seasoning but the pita chips were yummy. The beignets were ok but a little too greasy. The plain French toast was delicious, as well as the turkey sausage. I think the atmosphere is welcoming and everything was clean but you just have to know which items to order.

    Love the to go water!

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the service throughout our lunch was attentive and welcoming. Everyone at our table loved their meals -- burgers, fries, and sandwiches all around with rave reviews. I ordered "The Bird," and it was absolutely delicious: perfectly cornmeal-breaded with a crispy fried crunch on the outside while staying incredibly moist and flavorful inside. Instead of cake, our group brought blueberry pies and vanilla ice cream, and the staff graciously took everything to the kitchen, sliced and plated the pie, added generous scoops of ice cream, and even placed birthday candles on each slice. Such a thoughtful touch that made the celebration extra special. The atmosphere along the water made it even better. Watching kayaks, paddle boards, and boats pass along Shem Creek while enjoying lunch was the perfect backdrop for a celebration. This has definitely become a new favorite spot for our group! For food, I tried the fried catfish entree and Green apple-cauliflower soup. Both dishes were good. The fish was very tender and juicy. The butter bean succutash, which I never had before, contained butter beans, black eyed peas, corns, green and red peppers and red onions. It was delicious but since beans are of high FODMAP, I only had a little. The fish was topped with tomato jam made with crushed tomatoes, onions and sugar. It was served chilled. Paired well with the fish and succutash. The soup was creamy, silky, and full of flavor from cauliflower. The pistachio added some crunchiness to it. The taste of "green apple" was not obvious; in fact I was expecting there to be some apple slices, which could add extra texture and sourness to this rich soup. I also asked for a side of sourdough. A bit too salty for me. The service was kinda slow, except that food came out in reasonable amoutn of time **after I placed the order**, that is, I waited quite a while to order my food. The same for doing the check. I guess it was because there were not many staff at lunchtime, and most of them were senior thus could move as fast as young ppl.

On the coastal Atlantic, we recommend Acme Low Country Kitchen. You get five-star food in a rustic setting that could benefit for a bit of a makeover -- but only a touch or two. Excellent service compliments the food. On our plate: The "Light: House, including sauteed shrimp, seared scallops and a house-made, fresh crab cake that comes with a caveat that a shell chip or two might be mixed (we call that authentication). All were perfectly prepared and ample sized. This wasn't a shrimp-and-chips drive-through; this was a meal. Our sides: Collards (this is the low country) and fried Brussel sprouts, again well prepared. Price: $38.25 and among the higher-priced items on the seafood-heavy menu but worth it. Others in our party, including two non seafood eaters, chose the pecan fried chicken (two breast with one each going home because of the size) with another going with the Carolina Duo of the chicken and short ribs. Will we return? Yes. There are other options we've yet to try as our visits to Charleston increase but this was a real treat. Even better, it is near the fabled Dingy beach bar where we ducked in to watch the Kentucky Derby. We could spend our retirement years at The Dingy but that's another review to come. Acme is a 4.5-star review with the only points shaved because it just needs a little updating (after the season, perhaps). The food and service more than make up for it.

We walked in and the place was emptier than a church on a Wednesday night, yet somehow we were told to head on over to the bar, wait for a table, and go ahead and order ourselves a drink. Didn't make much sense, but we did as we were told. Then we stood there a good 10 minutes while the bartender, who let us know he's studying to be a dentist up in Spartanburg, was busy chatting away with another customer like we weren't even there. When he finally got around to us, it felt like we were more of an inconvenience than paying customers. But the real kicker came after we finally got our drinks. The manager came up, and I kid you not, told us we had to leave the restaurant and go out to the parking lot to finish them. No explanation, just attitude, and not a polite one either. To be honest, the manager seemed like she might have had a little too much Easter spirit, if you catch my drift. The whole interaction was downright combative and made us feel completely unwelcome. What really got me, though, was the poor hostesses and waitstaff. They apologized to us over and over and quietly let us know this kind of situation is something they deal with on a daily basis. We even heard her speaking sharply to another customer, which made it clear this wasn't just a one time issue. Honestly, the whole experience felt like a bad trip to the dentist and cost about the same as a root canal. All in all, it was a mess from start to finish, rude, confusing, and about as un Southern hospitality as you can get. I would think twice before going back, y'all.
