Such a wonderful breakfast spot. Biscuits are wonderful, and the restaurant is very nice and clean. Highly recommend.

Everyone raves about this place. We were disappointed. Biscuits were crumbly - didn't hold up to sandwich. Fillings were fine. Nothing special. This is a place people hear about and think they should like - so they do! You could make a drop biscuit, egg, and cheese at home in time it takes to wait in line. Maybe add a little honey and hot sauce? read more

This place was amazing. It was pretty packed when we came in but there was still ample seating. I ordered the ranchero and it was even better than expected. I could have scarfed down two of them if my stomach allowed it. I was very pleasantly surprised with the quick service and can't wait to come back and try more of the choices that this restaurant has to offer. I would recommend this place to anyone. I love the self serve bar for biscuit toppings and the atmosphere is so wonderful. read more

I felt that the food was very southern, which was to be expected. Another benefit we're theassive portions. However, I would not be sad to never visit again, which is why vicious biscuit only gets 3 stars. read more

Absolutely delicious food. The gravy train is the perfect breakfast! Best biscuit in Charleston!

I've only been here twice and so far I cannot wait to go back. The food here is so good. They have fresh squeezed orange juice. The price point is not bad either. My new favorite brunch place:) read more

Delicious! Creative food presentation and many choices. Attentive staff. Would definitely come here again. Thanks for a great dining experience. read more

THIS IS THE BEST BREAKFAST PLACE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!!!!! I have tried countless breakfast places all over the country in search of the perfect biscuit and this was the best i have ever had. The biscuits are out of this world. The eggs are amazing, such good flavor. All of the spread/jams are just amazing. The fruit seems like it was picked in the back yard it was so fresh! I can't get enough of this place!!!! Wish I could have it everyday of my life! read more

SO FREAKING DELICIOUS. The biscuits are so incredibly flaky, buttery, and delicious. This is a MUST visit when you visit Charleston.

The biscuits and grits were good. I placed an online order for curbside pick up and when we got back to our hotel room we realized the BYOB was incorrect [my son got fried chicken instead of ham] & the jams and butter that were in my order weren't included so I was pretty disappointed. That was my fault for not checking prior to leaving but that's also why I prefer online orders over calling in an order so the order is clear. read more

One of the best gatherings in the low country! Food was phenomenal, quick and friendly service! Huge portions. I would recommend this establishment to anyone. read more

The place was filthy. The jam bar looked like a group of 3rd graders had just been there with stuff dripped everywhere. When the table bussers cleared tables they weren't wiping them down. The grits tasted funny. When the manager was questioned he said he tasted them and they were fine. Didn't offer to replace them or offer a substitute. Eggs and bacon were fine but you almost cant mess that up. The biscuit, while huge was dry but since biscuits aren't my thing so I'm not a good judge. Overall I wouldn't come back read more

We decided to try this place based on the great reviews we read online. Well, the reviews weren't wrong. The food was different and delicious! We tried out the Vicious and the Crab Benny. It wasn't anything like any other biscuits we've had before and it sure left our taste buds satisfied. We'd definitely come back if we were in the area. read more

Vicious Biscuit - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Mount Pleasant, South Carolina

Good biscuits, large enough to satisfy a hearty appetite. Sweet potato waffles with chicken were delicious. Atmosphere inside was a bit too noisy and chaotic for my liking. Would go on a nice day and sit outside next time. You order and pay at the counter and your food is delivered to your table. The line was not too long but it did move slowly so expect a wait. read more

Simply state is the best breakfast call around best biscuits best eggs best service reasonable prices cleanliness

Great biscuit. good size, good price. The biscuit was buttery, flaky and the sausage was perfectly cooked. I will definitely return with the family. And it is locally owned! read more

Excellent food and plenty of it. Best biscuits that we've had and twice the size of a normal biscuit. Only negative is that it is a little pricey for a breakfast restaurant but we thought it was worth it. read more

Best breakfast in the Charleston area, hands down. Bloody marysn butter and jam bar. All Top notch

This THE CHICKEN BISCUIT place to go in Charleston. Homemade jams, butter and jam bar! Great coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. It rivals Paige's okra grill chicken biscuits. Must go! read more

Amazing breakfast. Farm fresh eggs, biscuits were amazing and clean friendly quick service. Definitely worth the stop.

I was craving biscuits and sausage gravy and a review here said that this place had the best they'd ever tasted. I loved that they make their own sausage. What a disappointment. Turns out you can make bland sausage in house, and bland sausage means bland sausage gravy. The maple just came across as generic sweetness, and without any counterpoint from the sausage it did not work. And the biscuits? Biscuits aren't supposed to be chewy, are they? I think they were going for a crisp crust, but they failed. Maybe when it was fresh it was crisp, but by the time the biscuit made it to my plate, the outside quarter inch or so had the texture of tater tots that had been cooked too long and then left to sit for about an hour. read more

I had The Vicious and oooohhh man. This is the best breakfast I've ever eaten. The biscuits are special - heavy duty!! The gravy and chicken are down home. And let's face it, the name is just cool and so are the dishes. I'm going back to try the sweet puppies. If I could give this more stars I would. read more

These are the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had. Hands down! If you want an amazing place to eat near Charleston I highly recommend this place! You order and sit down and the service is extremely fast. Will be back! read more

Love this place, location and the FOOD! I eat there about 2 times a week. The Ranchero is my meal if choice.

The biscuits were awesome and combined with the chicken it was so good! The grits were good and we loved the corn bread! Vicious Biscuit has great food!! read more

You better like it sweet. The maple syrup and maple sausage are overpowering. A little pricy but a neat place.

I'd have to give this place an okay rating. Been to several similar places in Nashville, Charlotte and Ashville. Our local Vicious Biscuit would unfortunately come in dead last. The Fatboy seemed like it may have been prepared during setup time then reheated. We had to wait for Coffee which was weak, watered down and they were out of cream. Staff needs to pay more attention to volume. read more

AMAZING! So good. Can't say enough good things about Vicious Biscuit! My wife got the Vicious, I got the Fat Boy and we split their breakfast potatoes. OMG! I can't wait to come back here!!! Oh, and get the fresh squeezed OJ!!! read more

Love the staff and service and food is really great and very consistent would recommend this to anyone

This place is awesome! When we went to order today they were out of their gluten free biscuits, and since I have an allergy I didn't order anything. When they delivered the rest of the group's food he asked if I was having anything and I told him no since they were out. He told me if I didn't mind waiting he would whip me up some gluten free biscuits! Top notch service! And the GF biscuits were the bomb! Finally! We had the Babe, Gravy Train, the Vicious and we were all very happy. We will definitely be back again and again. read more

Delicious! Best biscuits and cheesy grits I've ever had. Staff is super nice and friendly. The wait is not long at all.

Two and 1/2 stars. I'm splitting the difference between 5, because the food is awesome, and 0 because...holy crap!! Have they not heard about Covid-19? Yes, there's well-spaced tables, but people in line outside were only 1-2' apart, and shoulder-to-shoulder once inside the door. No one--customers or employees--wore masks, and worst of all, they have self-serve utensil bins, so EVERYONE is touching all the silverware as they help themselves. Employees wear gloves, which only means they think that's helping, so they can touch contaminated surfaces, then spread whatever they pick up to what they touch next, helping things spread. Ask any healthcare worker how gloves help---by changing them every time after you've touched something and before you touch something else! Will definitely go back b/c the food is great, but not for a long, long, long, long time! read more

Wow! What a biscuit! Have never seen them so big. And so delicious! Large menu. Big Portions. Great butters and jams on the side, and the iced coffee is yummy as well. It is unfortunate that I don't have one of these restaurants near me, because I would be going every week for something different. read more

OMG! The food was amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The homemade jams, jellies and butter are really good. The gravy was delicious! When the line to order is always out the door, you know this place is awesome. Great job, VB! read more

WOW!! This is the best meal I've had in a long time!! I had the vicious and it was incredible; possibly the best fried chicken I've ever had. I tried the chicken and waffles and it was a little too sweet for my taste. However, it was still a great meal with excellent service (although a little slow due to it being a Sunday afternoon). We are only in town for the week, and we already plan on coming back. So good read more

Definition of a biscuit has taken on a whole new meaning for me now. Heard about this place when staying downtown and was told it was worth the drive. I'd say so, and then some. Had The Crab Benny and didn't want it to end. Complimented perfectly with the Sweet Puppies. Staff was on point. Will be back real soon. Well done. read more

You won't find a better biscuit in town - so many amazing combinations you will want to go back every day to try them all! Don't forget to try the Scotlyn - if you like a little something sweet after savory - to die for. The Vimosa is the perfect champagne cocktail to pair with your meal. On top of the amazing food - the staff is super friendly and the customer service is great. Plenty of convenient parking. I would highly recommend heading to the Vicious Biscuit to see for yourself. I'm from San Diego and plan to stop into the VB the next time I'm in town. read more
